in the not so distant future  things are going to happen that you may well think its not possible.

there is a faith not in God but in the government . as it is, you have faith in God and in faith to fallow earthly leaders .your loyalty will come into question. the argument could well be look at what religion has done . 

to remove religion would take away the conflict , it would unite the people, could be the thinking . it will then get to the point that there will be those that hang on to faith in God. it could get to the point that it will anger the authorities so much so that a last step attempt will be made to remove all that dont worship the state.

God could careless if false pagan religion is removed ,but when it comes to the point of removing the worship given he does like ,thats the last straw.. its called Armageddon ,a serious one sided  war . where the beast is then gone.

Yes you will respond with acts, we must obey God rather than man, but that only applies when man's rules oppose God's rules.

 

Look at what religion /Christianity has done, well look at the Christian foundations of western civilisation. 

Equality under the law, equle value of the individual, honesty, integrity, truthfulness these are Christian virtues which made the west great and the same virtues if adopted along with Christianity will do so again.

I agree with your premise. We must look to the Bible to try to understand how these events will unfold. 

While I trust in God's Word exclusively, I noticed another " prophecy" from a 33rd degree Freemason written in 1871.  How much does the devil know regarding the end and his fate? And would he share that information with certain individuals? Here's the letter ( take notice of the third world war in particular):
