Jesus returns and destroy's the wicked like a Potter destroy's his vessels with a "Rod Of Iron" its that simple (The End)

Psalm 2:9KJV

9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Revelation 2:27KJV

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Revelation 19:15KJV

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Hard to think these verses somehow refer to heaven...........

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15.57-58)

Hi

@farouk

Thank you for pointing this out. It is relevant to us who are in Jesus Christ to know that the Lord of Lords is looking after us in his love for us HE CARE FOR US, HIS CHILDREN.

He can crush our "disobedience" using a general word and I should include our "ignorance", because we do and say many things in our ignorance. Which indicates involvement in our lives, that we are not alone and that we are loved. More or less HE still accepts us as his children even if we are spiritually misformed. Not even making any steps towards perfection. He wants to be the one to help us take teach our first steps. That shows that His presence is around us.

Paul to the Romans speaks of 'obedience to the faith' and 'the obedience of faith'.

This is some how puzzling as it is without the specific context as it is posted. Is not easy to connect to it without the ever growing knowledge of Paul. If I may give it a shot.

When the Gospel is preached the Holy Spirit is encouraged the listener to believe. That Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of his sins. While yet the message is spoken. Some may believe that very moment as the service is ongoing and at anytime before the service finishes they had to leave. This is it. They came into the service as unbelievers and they left as believers. Or in other examples as soon as they believe an earthquake happens and the building collapse and die. And we can say that He came as an unbeliever and die a believer because he believed during the deliverance of the message.

We start with faith then let's continue to live remembering that we started with believing that Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of sins and later on to hold fast to that and not to add a string of other requirements which are for the believers and their growing in their faith of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As believers they should do this or that. To grow strong and be inpower in their faith and have a strong foundation.

I guess I was following on from your use of the word 'disobedience'...

Yes the Lord will rule them with a rod of iron.

Isa. 2:1-4 - In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised up above the hills, and all the nations will stream to it.  Many people's will come and say, come let us come to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.  The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.  He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples.  They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks.  Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

So you believe that Jesus will be settling disputes in the New Heaven and New Earth.

Looks like there are swords and spears in your New Heaven and New Earth.  What gives.  They will be transformed for agriculture use.  Is that your objective in Eternity, be a farmer.

In this post we have the distorted version of the Poter.

If he is a Poter only to have the right to destroy the vessels then he is portrait as an intruder who has break into his shop perhaps and destroys his workmanship his creations.

But this is not what the message intents to comunicate.

He is the Poter he has created those vessels in the past and the time came that he created some vessels that they were unparalleled in workmanship and he said that's how I want all the vessels in my home to be.

And he took the task to himself and got rid of the vessels that do not fit to the New standars. It is not that he destroy all the vessels his house but the vessels that were in his house that they were inferior to the new model.

This is what happened at the time Jesus ushers in the New Covenant and God established the Forgiveness of sins in Jesus Christ for everyone in the world. When anyone believes in him he is or  becomes the New Creation of the Poter.

The Old creations at the time of Judgement who claimed that we are your children according the older way but they had refused to put on the  new way and be the vessels of the New Creation the Poter does not want them in his house. Simply they do not belong there. The older vessels of his creations should accept and adapt to the  new standards of the Poter. Simply said to believe in Jesus Christ and become the New Creation of the Poter.

Or in an other application some vessels claimed that they belong in the Potter's house but they are not the New Creation of the Potter to be of the New Creation with His Spirit and His Life in them and when the Poter finds them he destroys them. Only the vessels found with his Life in them remains in his house.

Or the Poter said that the vessels that belong in my house and are my workmanship this is about Jesus Christ who let us know that we can't be with Him in his Heavenly house in the house we already belong with our earthly house or earthly body and at the time of our physical death the Potter destroys our physical bodies because he want us without our physical bodies and the Potter does not need at all our earthly bodies to give to us the Heavenly body or to cloth us with our Heavenly bodies. Don't offend and mention to him the earthly body.

It doesn't, but it does say they exist during the 1000 year reign of Christ as Isa 2:1-4 says.  But my 1000 year reign of Christ is your eternity. So the swords and spears would have to be in both, as we state our positions.

I'm watching the Hamas in Gaza; if they are rooted out, then there can be a transformation to the environment described in Ezk 38:7-11.  A country without walls and gates, they live in safety, no enemy within.

Even if Hamas is completely overthrown, there will still be the PALESTINIAN NATIONAL AUTHORITY (PA) & FATAH residing in much of Judea and Samaria. So almost certainly "peace and safety" will have to arise by another means.

How you doing.  I took about an 18 month or more sabbatical from posting.  Not much has changed on the forums.  Most everyone's view is still intact.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
