Hi IS,

I agree that the 144,000 are from the 12 tribes of Israel. However, those in Jeremiah 3: 14 are the one-third of Zechariah 13: 8. The context is Israel going into the millennium.

Where and who are the twelve tribes of Israel today?

The Bible says they are as countless as the sands of the sea and they remain scattered among the nations.

Jesus says He came to save the lost peoples of Israel. Did He fail?

Really? You ask this?

If your question is sincere, it either reveals your uncertainty in God, or that you're baiting me for some hidden agenda, likely in an attempt to make me appear wrong about something, which I consider a personal attack.

I have no option but honesty, Keras... I find your personal interpretations of prophetic Scripture to be nothing more than bizarre

I do not consider your views as scriptural, nor do I wish to get involved in another fruitless conversation with you.

Good day, sir.

Just the ten Northern tribes, who have become the Christian peoples.

Jesus was successful in His mission and we Christians are now the true Israelites of God. Galatians 6:14-16

The House of Judah was cut off from the Kingdom, Matthew 21:43, and only individual Jews who become Christian can rejoin.

Lost only to our human ability to recognize them. God has never lost sight of the descendants of Jacob.

Anyone who teaches silly things like, "God turned Israel into Christians, or got rid of the original Israel to make way for the true Israel" has to manipulate scripture to be able to argue that.

That's a blatant assault on Scriptural truth!

The Jehovah's Witnesses use the same scripture manipulation to "prove" they are the only people in the world who will be saved. And like many churches, this same Spirit of deception is being seen in Christian theology.

They teach that the 144,000 is a symbolic number, nothing to do with the actual tribes of Israel... (Christians now say the same)

They have always related prophetic Scripture to popular news headlines... (Christians now do the same)

They believe that Babylon the Whore is the RCC and world religions and sinful society (except them) despite the fact that scripture specifically identifies "Babylon." (Christians teach this also, and ignore what Scripture says.)

I submitted three verses of Scripture. I added no interpretation, opinion, or reference to current events...

I did this for two reasons:

1. I just wanted to offer scriptural truth, and nothing more.

2. I wanted to confirm that a particular spirit would attack God's Word, and point the finger at me. I predicted it would troll me. It did.

People nowadays are coming up with a variety of personal interpretations of prophecies, and it's disturbing.

I recently encountered someone redacting a (roughly) 300 word prophetic vision down to a few words in order to present a current news story and reveal to everyone that a large piece of paper with visible writing on both sides was actually a weapon of mass destruction. The second half of that vision was a woman in a woven basket, carried away by two stork-like entities, and this was used to prove the piece of paper contained nuclear power.

No church could deny that some members harbor these spirits of deception, and I don't think it's out of line to suggest that social media, even WCF, isn't immune to this.

I do believe you are correct.

Rev 7:2-8
Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God." 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

5 From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,
from the tribe of Gad 12,000,
6 from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,
from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,
7 from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,
from the tribe of Levi 12,000,
from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,
8 from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,
from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,
from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.
NIV

Apparently he knows who belongs to which tribe.

My biggest concerns are with interpretations that directly conflict with what it factually stated in Scripture; and, those who assert that scripture doesn't mean what it says, so they overwrite the Word to satisfy their personal, or church-specific, narrative.

I see that just about everywhere about some things.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
