Enough is enough.

For many years I have been a supporter of the nation Israel, its right to exist and defend itself. But I cannot in good conscience support what it is doing in the Gaza strip. The vast numbers killed, children starving, food supplies cut off. This cannot be justified as a way to rid Gaza of Hamas.

As a Christian, my heart goes out to the many who are suffering  and dying.

It is time those in power in Israel were called to account for this ethnic cleansing of Gaza.

Sure. I'm just facilitating the discussion, so bear with me. If aggressors leave Israel alone they most likely wouldn't be attacked, but if they give Israel cause, no amount of Christian doctrine will stop the Israeli military from retaliating as they see fit.

He describes his distaste as..."But I cannot in good conscience support what it is doing in the Gaza strip. The vast numbers killed, children starving, food supplies cut off"...as an unacceptable action or response on the part of Israel...more likely the IDF and its commanders...as perhaps over the top...in terms of responsible acceptable human to human behavior.

If Ausie is right and the IDF is doing as he says...this would delineate the level of unbelief being put on display by the Israeli military and state in regards to the Lord Yahshua's principals or beatitudes from Matthew 5 or any of the Lord principals regarding retaliation against an enemy.

The destruction of Palestinians...and the vindication of Israel...in this conflict that is playing out here on the earth as reported...is subject to a higher court if you will. God's law of reaping and sowing is both revealing itself in this conflict now...and is guaranteed to show as the baseline Truth as we move forward.

The Lord Yahshua is reported to have once said..."You have heard that it was said, 'AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.' "But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. "If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also."       

Now He either meant this...or He didn't...how one chooses to interpret His words and the greater meaning...there in Matthew 5 will shed light upon the thoughts and intents of one's heart. In any case...we will now continue to watch as the judgment of sin and unrighteousness upon the earth...as it increases.

In the natural realm, Israel has existed since its beginning, surrounded by people that want them eliminated. No other citizenry and Nation has endured this. The pressures created by this constant real threat can only be imagined.

We cannot know exactly what goes on behind the scenes, but God surely does. In this context, it doesn’t matter what your eschatology is…a nation will defend itself.

Always….Psalm 2 should be consulted. IMO.

@Michael37...you are probably aware of these things...however permit me to speak to them if you will? At some point what I am posting here will reveal itself...openly.

Beginning with Christian doctrine...I agree...it has well proven unable to stop unrighteousness of every sort in their religious institutions...leaving no chance for them to bring a righteous peace based solution to anything or anyone anywhere. This as I see it is “part and parcel” to the maniacal attitude towards the enslavement and murder of humans and nations.

This in part...is what is meant by John in Revelation 13:5 where he penned the concept...of the mouth on the mortally wounded and healed head of the beast...as “speaking great things and blasphemies.” This is the religious conflation of “great things”...”words” if you will...which may include certain partial truths but are then mingled with the slandering of Christ and all sorts of evil godless utterances.

Their [institutional religion] authority and power is underwritten by the state...which is what we are watching...and because of this unfortunate truth...the Holy Spirit will not grant them His Throne and its attendant power and authority. These are largely operating out of the “conflation” of the two covenants...mostly the Old Covenant...which was a completely different covenant...for a completely different people in a completely different epoch...and a completely inferior covenant at that...this is quite simply not possible.

The covenant of the Law and the Prophet’s as given to Moses by God at Mount Sinai...as delivered to the sons of Israel...the Old Covenant...has been “fulfilled” as the Lord Yahshua Himself is recorded as having said...“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.”

And as such the “Old Covenant” is no longer a binding covenant and its “Levitical priesthood” is no longer a binding and administrative priesthood...it was always going to go like this. The Old Covenant was always meant to be temporary...useful ultimately...only to the bringing forth of the promised “seed” of Abraham...Christ Yahshua. The best it could have ever hoped to aspire too...was a...“a copy and shadow of the heavenly things.” What’s my point you may be wondering?

It has been superseded by a greater covenant...the “New Covenant” as eternally established in the “blood of the Lamb of God and by His Word” and has brought forth the original and spiritual eternal priesthood...a “Royal Priesthood” and it now reigns...as the administrative priesthood in the Kingdom of God...and...it is the eternal spiritual priesthood in the order of “Malkiy-Tsedeq”...the King of Righteousness.

My point is...that to conflate the actions of a Royal Priesthood...which is the invisible eternal Holy Spirit empowered priesthood...with...a no longer existent or necessary priesthood...given to a people who btw...rejected the former when offered...is what causes the religiously carnal to justify the ungodly and unrighteous behavior of a now “defunct” covenant...which to a degree we can observe as playing out today.

The deception of the dragon and the subsequent happenings on the earth and in the second heavens today...is the judgment of God the Father upon all sin and unrighteousness...and we are front and center as it is happening before our eyes. Thankfully it appears that some around here are waking up to this.

The sons of God are aware that to combined and embrace the “lesser”...the Old Covenant and its Levitical priesthood...over or in the light of...the “greater”...the New Covenant and its Royal priesthood is defined as blasphemy...and leads to all types of spiritual darkness and evil. this spawns a systematic combination of lies and partial truths...think the serpent in the Garden of Eden. “You won’t die Evie...no...no come on and eat...you will be like God!”

I assure you that the Holy Spirit called and anointed “Royal Priests”...who are the eternal and holy curators of the spiritual Kingdom of God in heaven and on the earth...are not engaged in the genocidal and murderous affairs of the fallen angelic demons and their satanically enslaved human operatives...who are leading the dragon’s “world” on earth today...and we are not the perpetrators of this insanity...No...it can never be.

That is the definition of a religious institution that is inspired by the “Babylonian harlot” an unfaithful wife and a wealthy influential one at that. She brings her unwitting constituency to the “kings of the earth” as an available constituency...for which she is “paid” handsomely.

Then the kings of the earth begin to feed the harlots faithful...into the human meat grinder knows as “wars and the like”...as nothing more than fodder to appease the dragon and its beast. After all she is drinking to her intoxication...the blood of the saints...no?  

Michael37...rest assured that the sin, unrighteousness, unbelief and rebellion of darkened humanity over the millennia is coming in for judgment as you read this. The blood of murdered humanity...righteous and unrighteous alike...is upon the hands of the godless and evil...NOT the glorious Christ...who is the “image and likeness of God”...who being “the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature” and should not be mistaken as Satan...that deception creates unbelief and an assault upon ones faith and will cause apathy and rebellion...which is the spirit of institutional religion.

For He chose Judah as leader, and from the house of Judah He chose my father’s household, and from my father’s sons He was pleased to make me king over all Israel.…

 

If God did not approve then, because of spilled blood what makes people think its ok  and that God approuves now?

If God did not approve then, because of spilled blood what makes people think its ok  and that God approuves now?

Just to add to the conversation: Is it possible it depends on circumstances? What if a crazy person was in your home to kill your spouse and kids? Now, to be clear, I find the idea of killing anyone abhorrent.
