Don't you all understand that the president (NSA) has the right to spy on anyone in the world that they decide...... all they have to do is to file for a warrant within 72 hours. Since the secret court was formed they have had appx. 20,000 requests and is my understanding that less than two dozen have been refused and a bit less than 200 have been modified.......

What about this is it that the president can't follow the law..... it makes no common sense to me at all. Mr. Bush just doesn't want any oversight whatsoever, and that is not safe for our nation...... even if you do trust Mr. Bush, what about Hillary when she wins the next election...... think about that, for it is more than just a possibility......

President George Bush can listen in on any of my conversations at any time in the interest of U.S. National Security as America is the ONE world power between us and a detestable Islamic Caliphate. "Civil liberties" do not exist for kind people already, as I've put it, indubitably dead, murdered by Muslim terrorists.

Arthur, you don't need to give Mr. Bush dictitorial rights to have him do his job....... just have someone watch over his shoulder so as to be sure he doesn't abuse his position.... that is what our form of government is all about.... checks and balances

There is still a disagreement over whether or not Bush broke the law.

I was watching a news segment yesterday with two men arguing this point.

Since i don't know much about the law, I am in no place ot argue either way.

But the fact still remains that not all believe it was a breaking of the law.

So, to continue arguing this point as fact . . . might not be so.

But to just let it go and not discuss it is foolish also for there are those here who are willing to lay down any and all liberties for the promise of more security........ that is how all dictatorships develope..... good grief it is how Hitler took over Germany. Might I add that the only law that Hitler broke in coming into power was to burn the Capitol Building.....

I know that you all seem to trust George Bush with your very lives, but what about those who follow him. Don't you understand that this is going to carry out many many years. This war on terrorism most likely will last till Jesus returns, so you are willingly giving up our personal freedoms for generations to come when it is totally unnecessary......

Neb, I think it wise for you to get into understanding our laws and form of government, for it is your duty to pick people who will uphold the Oath to God that they make to follow those laws, and if we leave people in the offices of our government that do not uphold those laws, "we" (you and I) are accountable for the damage that they do. We are responsible for putting them there and we are responsible for what they do if we leave them there.

Abraham Lincoln made the statement to the effect that the United States would have to live through all times or die by suicide. If this country falls it will come from within and not from abroad. While there are countries that could completely destroy our Nation with weapons, they can not destroy our government and leave the people.

Terrorism will destroy this nation for there are few who are willing to die for it. We send our people over to other places to die for freedom, but who is willing here..... what's the difference in sending our military somewhere and being willing to die for it and doing the same in our own homes. Yes Terrorism will destroy our nation from within because few remain that are willing do die for it.

Give me liberty or give me death doesn't confine itself to the battle field in Afghanistan or Iraq, it has to be in your front yard and even to the confines of your bedroom and even your bathroom, or this Nation is doomed to Tyranny. Be it from within or without, it will come if you are not willing to sacrifice whatever it takes for it.

Question is....... do we care?

As far as falling from within -

I'm more concerned about moral decays than government monitoring phone calls that by-pass the court.

Moral decay is the true threat to our freedoms as Christians - not politicians and their doings.

And it's the court and judges that are ruling prayers in school to be illegal and 10 Commandments displays to be illegal and other public expressions of faith to be illegal.

So why are you trusting the courts to provide the president with the proper checks and balances?

That is much too broad a question to throw into this thread.

Courts can not stop prayer in schools. they can stop forced prayer in schools and for the protection of my kids from the growing paganism and Luciferian worship that is growing I think I can really agree with that.

If you are having trouble with schools not letting kids pray you should do something about it, for it is not against the law. Leading a group of people to prayer is a different thing. If you all would work on getting prayer back in the home you wouldn't have to worry about the schools. Home is the problem for like the laws of the land no one is willing to sacrifice for them and they will go along with the rest of it.

We can agree on moral decay, but the problem with prayer in schools is from the moral decay and not the other way around. You can't force people to pray...... you can't force people to the alter..... you can't force people to Christ and we in the United States are failing miserably in getting people there. You're attacking the problem from the wrong end.

You can't put prayer in the school, you must put it in the home and let it be taken there. You can't put it in government, you must put it into the home and let people take it there.

We will see how this all works out in the end, with the Prisident; but, like I said in the other thread, keep a watch on these people for it is not your beast intentions that they have on their minds. I can't discuss the reasons for that, but I simply can't sit by and let this go....

And I could say the same about the government.

Moral decay goes first.

If it is "We the people"a s you mentioned, should we not focus more on "we the people"?

Neb, we can't discuss the details of all this on this board or someone will yell conspiracy and things go away. I simply don't have the time to waste on the mentality that exists here for this particular subject. It is truly a waste for any work a person puts here simply disappears.

I do try and make people look in places for their own good, and that is about all I can do. Just be very careful of where you put your trust. That is where I am leading things to, and it is very important as the end decption unfolds as to whome we trust.

Well, since I can't answer that without saying things that I should not either, I guess that leaves us at an impass.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
