To all those who replyed to my post.....

WISDOM....you truly helped me I have never seen a better way to describe being saved and learning...your words of wisdom  :help: have been a great comfort to me.

OneAccord....your words are also a great comfort to me I now have something else to erase my fears of not being ready...you are wonderful  :noidea:

Suzanne....thank you so much for the scriptures...I will be copying them all down so I may read them in my bible....I like to get scripture from you all here because I have such a hard time yet finding what I am looking for...sometimes (don't laugh at me now) I close my eyes and flip the pages and put my finger on a page and then see what I landed on  :t2:  hey sometimes it has worked....I will remember what I read a couple of days later and am able to use it in my life!!

Heres another question for you all.....if you have time to answer I would be so grateful......What do you think of the audio bible....with two kids...homeschooling...housework...and a job two to three days a week I feel like I am not spending enough time reading my bible....I was thinking if I got audio I could listen while I am cleaning etc...

just a last note here....I worry about my parents horribly!!  my mom is a unbeliever....my dad seems more open to God...but I am very afraid they will be lost...breaks my heart to think about it...I pray for them very hard in hopes I can convince them to open their eyes wide and see the truth.

Dear angel,

I'm sure every one of us here, can relate.   :noidea:   Just remember, the Holy Spirit of God can reach even the most distant heart, but we must continue in prayer for those we love.  Leave the work to the Holy Spirit, in that He will lead you in the way to speak, or He can send others to those who are in need of the Word of Truth, (sometimes it is not us who will be the messengers)  I am waiting as well for some in my family to receive the Gift of God.  But we must continue in prayer and be willing to obey when the Lord compels us to speak.

In response to your question about the Audio Bible, I'm sorry, but I really believe we must sit in "quiet" and aloneness with Our Lord Jesus.  You've got to set aside that time alone with Him "by yourself".  I know it can be difficult, (as I homeschool also), but I really would urge you to set aside time, if possible, early in the morning, to spend with Jesus alone.  It really is the foundation to your personal relationship with the Lord, and He will make all the other things fall into place timewise, if you will give Him the "first" place in your day.

:inlove:

In His Love,

Suzanne

Hi Refuse,

You are worried about your parents not being saved and maybe brothers or sisters?

God knows your heart and how much you love them therefore I believe that if you pray for them the Lord can take the veil of unbelieve from their eyes and  pray for the Holy Spirit to make them aware of what will happen to them when they die...God WILL listen to your prayer, all you have to do is trust God for the result and keep them in prayer.

You are the biggest witness they might have around them right now, let them know what happened and that the Lord took a hold of you.

Becareful not to be to criticial to them, let the Holy Spirit start to do a work in them.

Prayer moves mountains, they will notice a difference in you ,in how you talk, the kind of music you like to listen too, going to church, you are a witness to them in many ways.

And the audio Bible?

We have the New Testament< I would like to have the O.T. too maybe someday, I listen mostly when I go to bed and have the radio right beside me, so I can listen to the tape, I never stay awake for the whole tape....it is nice to fall asleep listening to Gods word. (I have the tape playing realy soft so my husband can sleep trough it, I also like to fall asleep listening to gospel music))

Love in Christ, Angels

Refugepsa91:

Your words for me are kind and have truly touched my heart, but the honor and glory for what was said and done goes to our FATHER, who uses us as yielded individual vessels to feed, strengthen and nourish one another in the Body of HIS SON.  I thank you for bringing me back into the remembrance of a time of innocence which I thought I'd all but forgotten.  You helped me too... :noidea:

I think the audio-Bible is a great idea under your circumstances mentioned.  But a good point was also made by Suzanne.  Ensure you spend quality time reading the Word in addition to listening to the audio tapes.  In either atmosphere you cannot lose!! Just keep in mind that you need daily filling one way or the other.  In my early Christian walk I use to do both.  I especially found the audio tapes to be very useful while driving in my car.  You can also download it at no cost on to your computer from the internet.  Make up in your mind that you want to live in our DAD's presence daily.

Sis, each day ask our FATHER for HIS knowledge and wisdom as you read/hear HIS Word.  HE will give you want you need to bless you and others.  That's a promise.

Last, concerning your parents and/or other family members...I believe  we all go through this because once the love of CHRIST floods your heart you begin to look at things in the world through HIS eyes.  The first thing you want to do is save everyone, and believe it or not, that's not such a bad feeling to have.  But the reality is this...everyone will not be saved and our FATHER didn't call you to try and do so.  The good thing is HE did give us the privilege of prayer (talking directly to HIM).  Pray for your people and ask for other Christians (I will do so) to pray for your people.  Then keep in mind that if it be our FATHER's will (and in HIS time, not ours) doors/windows of opportunity will be opened for sharing the Gospel with them.  The biggest example your parents can see of CHRIST is a changed life in YOU!

I cannot begin to tell you how many of my friends and relatives have come to a saving knowledge of CHRIST simply through watching me (as some told me later) without my even realizing it.  On the same token I had been praying for them and I learned through trial and error that GOD's timing IS NOT the same as mine, but yet HE's always on time!!  You continue to learn the Word (2 Timothy 2:15), and grow in the grace and knowledge of our LORD/SAVIOUR, while continuing to daily....I repeat, DAILY pray for your parents and others along with all your daily needs and I assure you our FATHER will honor those prayers from a broken heart.

Sis.....you're on the right track!  You're going to be alright!!

Ok, still concerning the days of Noah in comparison with today, what are your thoughts on the explosion of demonology and spiritualism in the last 10 years??!

Put those thinking caps on and holla at me!  :noidea:

I wonder if the 'days of Noah' are the same as the 'great falling away' that happens in the end times.  If they are the same, certainly this new age explosion of do-it-yourself religion is a big sign of the times :noidea:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
