When we keep ourselves in Him and His will we really have nothing to fear..

Amen to that. I don't know what anyone else thinks, but to me this was a very appropriate place for that post and I appreciate you sharing it. It just further emphasizes the need to be watchful, especially in the perilous times we are living in.

The blessing in this is so clear. Just as the messages that the Lord gave to the Israelites (sp?)..I feel too that Tah's post was very appropriate.

I also believe that because we live in such a busy noisy world these days that we can't hear a thing from God at times. What better oppurtunity to speak to us than when we are sleeping and the noises of this world are shut out?

The thing that a lot of people forget is that the Lord is mysterious..I love Him sooo much.

Dear JCKDuboise: I agree, it sounds like the Lord is speaking to you. He's done likewise to me, as well. God is alive and well and speaks to us all the time, if only we would listen.

You have. You learned not put your heart into the riches of this life but to focus on Him.

I would hope that EVERY Christian has heard God speak to him or her through various means, including dreams or visions or through His Word and through His servants.

He speaks to us in various ways and means...we need only incline our ears. Thank you for sharing.

I agree that every Christian is spoken to by the Lord. God is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow. I am bewildered and saddened by those who claim that God does not talk to us anylonger. As if he has gone mute. How else is he going to communicate. It can't only be through scriptures written so long ago. How would people know to get involved in ministry of any kind if there was no communication. Look at how he has had to chase those down in the old testiment to get them to do His bidding? Look at Moses.

Since the time the Lord opened my heart to Him, He has communicated with me, aside from scripture.
