Are ouija boards truly pathways to evil spirits...

The Ouji board was created by a witch. It opens doors in peoples lives for demonic spirits to come in them and hinders that persons life. Satan comes to kill, and destroy. Quality of life is greatly reduced in a persons life who plays this game. Many, Many lives have been ruined due to this seamingly harmless game, do not play it nor go around anyone who does.

Our pastor was telling my wife and I that some years ago, when he was a teenager (I think), that his parents, who were pastors themselves, knew nothing of the ouija boards as far as being evil and thought they were just some toy. He asked it some kind of a question and it got very thorough right down to the point of the OLD name of the town they lived in. Another question was right on the letter to, and they realized that this was not something to be reckoned with and burnt the thing!

I wasn't raised in a Christian home. As far as my parents were concerned, the Ouija board was just a child's toy...and just goofy and superstitious.

I remember going over to a playmate's house (I was 5 years old and in Kindergarten)...and he had the "toy"...

We moved the little thingy around the board but didn't know what to do...it was so boring, we didn't stick with it for long and probably went off and played checkers.

I'm not sure if that board was a curse on me or what....

The quija board its true that it is more then just a game board sold at toys r us . And it does open one self to possesion and other things its just not hype or psychological its not a game to be messed with satan just makes it seem like oh its just for fun but it isn't thats the kinda stuff God warns us to stay away from socery etc so i hope that helps answer your question.

God is very specific on them, tells us that we are not to be using a "medium" to contact the spirits,

and the mediums are an abomination.......

to find the answers we need, all we need to do is earnestly seek God, and God will provide the answers we need just as He provides our shelterd, work, cloths and food and every thing else.....

the use of that piece of junk will only open yourself up for satans workers.... God does not have to use that to speak to you....

we can not rely on our pastors to have the truth with them, as God has brought the means that we all can have His Word, we now can check things out for our selves ( the english versions have been around since the early to mid 1500's ).......

when Christ returns ( which is not that far off, and gets closer each and every day ) there will be pastors that will be left behind, those that do not follow the Gosple of Jesus, the Christ, those leading people astray....

obviously, if you are bringing a question as this to others, then you must have a reason, such as a conviction, of a feeling that it is not right. dont be deceived, rely oh Spirit filled followers of Jesus to help you in your journey, and mostly rely on Gods Holy Spirit to teach you and guide you, looks as thou you already are...'

remember that King Saul went to a medium ( that is what a ouija board is) , he hid himself so that no one might know who he was, knew that he should not, but did anyways.....

as the robot in the old lost in space show use to say:

Ouija boards, are what is call a point of sorcery, (A door way), the fact that they are sold in our stores, is a abomination. it's as dangerious as handing a child a loaded gun.

But, whether Child or Adult, it is NOT a Game. It's a trap, and I have worked with people for over thirty year that started out with games, Ouija boards, Bloody Mary, (a mirrior game).

Satan is the instigator of all opposition to God and is the power behind all cults and the occult. He is not a figment of the imagination; the but of jokes; characterized as a red-suited, pitchforked-wielding, horned individual; the opposite is truth. His original abode was heaven, with "top" position of "Covering Cherub," "perfect in his ways, with great wisdom and brightness' and "with every precious stone as his coving." (Ezek. 28:13)

For thousands of years he has constantly created new religions and cults with their False teachers and False prophets to keep people in spiritual darkness and bondage.

2 Cor. 4:4 The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the LIGHT of the glorious Gospel of christ...should shine into them.

John 14:6 Jesus said: NO MAN cometh to the Father, But By Me.

Deut. 18: 10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that useth DIVINATION, (fortune telling,ouija boards, automatic writing), or an OBSERVER OF THE TIMES, (a person who deals with astrology and HOROSCOPES) or an ENCHANTER, (magician) or a WITCH, (one making compacts with evil spirits thus possessing supernatural powers) or a CHARMER, (hypnotist) or a CONSULTER WITH FAMILIAR SPIRITS, (spiritist medium) or a WIZARD, (clairvoyant,psychic, ESP,telepathy) or a NECROMANCER, (one who supposedly communicates with the dead; seances; voodoo) FOR ALL that DO THESE THINGS are an ABOMINATION UNTO the LORD.

YOGA; TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION; SUN MOON'S UNIFICATION CHURCH; THE WAY; THE CHILDREN OF GOD; SATANISM, ect. ALL DENY that Jesus is GOD.

This may seem like a long winded answer for such a simple question, but it is just that important. Read your Word, the Holy Spirit will lead you and teach you the Truth!

Find like minded christians to talk some more about this untill there is no more doubt in your mind, that the occults, ouijah boards, ect., are door ways to eternal death and seperation from Jesus. "Any one who tells you other wise is a Lier, and is a pawn of the enemy, no matter who they are.

A hearty AMEN to all of you who realize Ouija boards are dangerous. Using one opens up a door for demonic spirits...something not to be taken lightly and something to stay away from. Such things the Lord hates. Not a toy or game, but a tool of the medium. Tarot cards, horiscopes and the like are all open doors for demonic spirits. All such things the Lord admonishes us to stear clear of.

Thank you for the welcome. When ministering to believers, I use the reference Isa:57:3 (particularly, the entire chapter). For people just finding Jesus, I quote the verse Paul wrote: 1Cor:13:11: When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

My redemption from the occult and cultish things was blood bought, as was my eternal salvation. We are family. :t:
