Have you not heard his claims and prophecies that are not from God, but his own version of Christianity?

I'm not sure what you are talking about..However God can still use him and this person has been healed. God does the healing not the man.

Sorry to burst anyone bubbles it is a good story only if he wasn't deceiving you. I get hives when exposed to much cat dander or extreme heat conditions. It is allergic and hives as with most rashes disappear anywhere from a couple of hours to a day or so. He likely new this as most people will get them at some point in their life. (my doctor words that they are common not mine)

dood, you seem to be missing the point and that is number 1, I had rarely wathched the 700 Club but just "happened" to make the choice to watch it and why would they have picked that day to talk about someone worried about a rash. Don't you believe that God can send messages through His people? While I do agree that God can heal man if it's what He wants to use as a sign but there is another post regarding that and I don't want this thread to turn in to well it's God, no it's doctors.... I just believe that it was no accident that day and God didn't want me to fear and used Pat to talk to me.

I thank God for all of His Servants used to Equip His Church.

A few of those servants may actually lurk around these boards!

I'm learning just how blind I can be to God's working on this planet today.

So, I now would not dare to put down Pat Roberston and his ministry.

I thank God for Pat's broken heart for the lost and for his God-given passion to share Jesus with the world.

And, I personally pray for Dave Hunt and The Bend Oregon Gang.

I have a question about this scripture which may or may not be germane to this topic....

"But he said,

Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares,

ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest:

and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers

Gather ye together first the tares,

and bind them in bundles to burn them:

but gather the wheat into my barn. (Matthew 13:29-30)

Any idea why our Lord Jesus would teach this to His Church?

It is not the "vessels" that do the healing, but the faith within us.

Pat is a human vessel that is on the potter's wheel just like the rest of us. It's certainly not a time to be throwing stones and making accusations. He loves the Lord and has done a great deal of good all over the world.
