I have another question for any old earth creationists... since the bible clearly states that different stages of creation took place during different time periods (whether these with 24 hour days or hundreds of millions of years). So does this mean that for millions of years the earth had plants but no animals, and then over the next periods of millions of years, animals began to appear? Also, wouldn't this mean that the first half (roughly) of creation took place with no light... or without stars/sun anyway, obviously light came from somewhere because God seperated it from darkness before the sun and stars came to be.

So often we look the creation account and make it completley earth centered. THe thing is, and it's hard to fathom, at some point in the history of the universe there was no darkness or light. Thus when God created "light" and "darkness" He was creating the physical laws which would dictate what would compose light and darkness. If you think of it this way, when you see a computer program you're seeing a bunch of numbers in a code that puts a certain projection onto the screen. God had to program the physical laws before they merely occured.

The first sign that the Lord gave was at Cana, He turned water into wine. The wine was mature wine, the best wine, what He was showing us here is that He was the creator and that He could bypass the natural process because He had devised it.

When man was created in the image of Elohim he was created a mature adult, 30yrs old the same age the Lord began His ministry and His trial in the wilderness.

What we can deduce from this is that the creator was able to create each and every part of creation and create it in maturity.

Oil, coal and gas are fossil fuels and there is a natural process in which they are produced. As with the wine at Cana the Lord by passed the process. Fossil fuels were placed in the earth at the time of the creation, and they didn

Well I'm starting to wonder if anyone really knows for sure on this matter...

Perhaps my personal theory on this should be "God created it and now it's here" :emot-heartbeat::emot-heartbeat:

They died off due to the flood and climate change. just my 2 cents :emot-heartbeat::emot-heartbeat: Love ya Keilan!!! :emot-hug::mgqueen::mgqueen:

Back in the 1980's a Japanese fishing ship pulled up an almost completely intact Pteradactyl! Theory: "Well, er....I uh.......ummmmm.....OH YEAH!!! Here it is: It was frozen in an ice berg for the last 60 or 80 million years, and just thawed out......and was sinking.......slowly.....to the bottom of the ocean, when these guys just happend in this 1 in 100 trillion chance, to snag in in their net......YEAH, THAT'S IT!!!"

OH yeah?!? :emot-heartbeat:

Hmmm...*thinking... :emot-heartbeat: ...thinking deeply*...Interesting theory...are you serious about this, Leonard?

Truster,

I would advocate, before my response, that so long as we both agree that God started it and kept up with it, there was a literal Adam, and there was a literal fall, the rest is just details. :emot-heartbeat:

My question to you is why would God go to all the trouble of placing millions upon millions of fossils in the rock sediment if those animals never lived?

Dinosaurs did exist there is proof they did - they could have been wiped out in the flood of Noah - the science behind this is that wherever you find a dinosaur fossil there are usually alot of them at one place - this would happen in times of a flood as all the bones would float to a single area - this would explain finding alot of fossils together this would also explain finding dinosaurs in perfect preservation as the flood would have drowned them

Noah took dinos onto the ark with him. However I think that the climate may have changed, the canopy of water that surrounded the earth that created perfect conditions and climte for people to live 1,000+ years was gone as it was brought down to create the flood.

I am surprised no one has mentioned the coelacanth. This was part of the extinct animals and classed as a dinosaur, however it wasn

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
