Keep in mind that if he were dead the Muslims would probably be announcing it in mourning. Furthermore, he issues a Fatwah, which would have to be revoked or a new one issued if he had died. It could not continue on past his death. He is still very much alive OR these Muslims are going against very basic teachings of their faith...which makes no sense considering they are very devout.

Even if Osama is or was dead, there will continue to be random sightings and stories, just like with Elvis.

Personally, I don't know what to believe about Osama...I imagine whatever the the facts might be, we will hear a lot of unsubstantiated rumors regarding his dead or alive status. My best guess is, he is alive, but I don't know this with any certainty. I have no proof or overwhelming evidence to draw my conclusions from.

But as for Elvis, he already died...

Anyway, he is alleged to have died on (I think) August 23, so the body would be in a bit of a state by now.

Actually I think that Osama Ben Laden died many years ago. He apparently suffered from kidney failure and was on kidney dialysis, and the way he was alleged to have lived, could not have survived very long.

Yes, I have a feeling he is long dead.
