Ted, I am around airforce people at tinker afb, and army people at Lawton and our National Guard people during my work. I would agree, I don't know any of them that have the understanding that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11.

:emot-handshake: Actually a few do think it might have been Dick Chaney, but we won't go there . I wonder when that poll was taken. It says it was released in Feb 2006 but does not say when it was actually taken that I saw.

A Zogby poll (Zogby is an independent polling organization which has no political bias) done in conjunction with LeMoyne College found, in summary, that:

No such thing as "no political bias," sorry. Zogby has been polling for about 20 years and generally is fairly good, although he has yet to get an election poll right. Regardless, most polls are notoriously innaccurate. LeMoyne is a Jesuit college, very much anti war. I am sure just about anybody can produce a poll giving them the results they want. I dont like to sound cynical, but I grew up around the Washington establishment, so I am a bit jaded.

you're right that perhaps i shouldn't have been so quick to say that he wasn't biased, but he has done well with domestic and foreign election polls. the bush/kerry election was his big failure, though his final poll did put bush ahead.

Oh, I'd love to see that as well. O'reilly would make a complete ass of himself, par for course, and Presdent Clinton would remain dignified and act like a true leader. It would be priceless.

 How to set up an interview between Bill Clinton and Bill O'Reilly....

Mwaa-haa-haa-haaaaaa!

Bill Clinton is a pathological liar. His record speaks for itself. At no time in U.S. history have we a had a sitting President that was involved in so many scandels. I am just amazed at how women liked Clinton. He took advantage of women every chance he could get. Monica L., a 19 year old white house intern is just one of Clintons flings, reseach what he did in Arkansas sometime. So we have this great leader who gets sexually involved with 19 year old girls in the oval office, remember Bill is married and is the president. President Regan once said that he wouldn't even take his tie off in the oval office, showing how much respect he had for the office and the presidency, Clinton used this place for sexual flings with 19 year old interns, and then tried to lie about this. Some great leader......

I agree Pax. This man is a no class lying, womanizer who got away with lying to a Grand Jury. He also had three lawyers in the room with him while he testified. Look up the rules, no attonerys allowed in a Grand Jury. Guess how he got away with it? He taped his testimony. Slick Willy a very good name for this sleez.

I just finished listening to Bills book on his life, and I must be really level headed guy for I do still have my hair.

There was one thing he talks about that I found very enlightening about his actions. He said he was really leading a double life.... one for the nation and his family and another with his dark side that he did everything he could to hide....... according to him he struggled with this one way or another his whole life......

On one levell or another do we all struggle with this??????? Letting our inner self get out of control...... But for the grace of God many of us would loose control just like Bill.

*May the Lord help him get a grip on his life"

Fox News, is named so, because it is owned by the company 20th Century Fox. Also the owner, is a liberal, but he is not an idiot when it comes to making money. He knows honesty and truth are what the American people want to hear. Anyone that says Fox News has a political agenda, doesn't watch Fox News, they get their information second-hand from political blog (whining/crying) sites. Bill O'Reilly is a very smart man and very skilled at debate, people do not like to go one on one with him, because they know they will lose. I Guess their egos can't accept a challenge.

Get real, I've watched enough of Fox's 'unbiased' reporting to know better. 1st, there isn't ONE unbiased reporting agency, with the potential exception of NPR, and Fox is so Right Wing it's sickening and very hard to sit through a broadcast

Are you really sickened by Fox news being so very right wing? You won't deny that CNN, MSNBC and a myriad of other news agencies lean so far the the left that it also makes many people sick as well. I am very thankful to have Fox since it seems all the other news agencies lean the other way. You wouldn't begrudge us our only voice now would you? I agree that Fox has a conservative bias but this does not have to be painted as something negative. I suppose we should stop listening to the rantings of Bill O'reily and accept more socially acceptable programming like "Nip Tuck", "Flava Flav" or perhaps "queer eye for the straight guy". You may not like Fox or those who agree with them, but you could at least show a little respect.

You're right, I didn't deny that the others are slanted the other way, and any slanting of the proportions I see on Fox News sickens me, be it Right Wing Garbage or Left Wing Trash, and what's worse is listening to the people who gobble it up wholesale without understanding that it's slanted and needs the counter balance of either watching BOTH views to get something approaching balance OR watching neither and trying to find an unslanted program (good luck) NPR 'seems' (only because I haven't yet caught them being biased though) to come close so far, but I'd rather stick my head in a grinder than listen to Rush Limbaugh and his Hate parade (amazing how fast he got hypocritical too when he got caught doing wrong-how quickly he jumped on using the very things he condemned to try and save himself) or Bill O'Reilly and his obvious Right Wing drum beating. Perhaps if we'd all quit supporting SLANTED news agencies, they'd get the message and go back to actually reporting the news. The other side of the coin is that many people call anything they don't want to believe or hear as slanted by the other side. Much of the complaints I hear about CNN are from people who just don't want to believe it, not that it's truly slanted as they say. As for Fox? I've seen enough of their obviously slanted broadcasts to know I have to use a ton of salt when watching them.

How's this sound:

War on Terror: Battle of Iraq

War on Terror: Battle of Afghanistan

War on Terror: Battle of . . .

Hmm, sounds interesting. So, if we say the battle in Iraq is because it's continuous violations of UN sanctions, we can then use the same argument for

Syria

Iran (if we ever sanction them)

North Korea.

Talk about reshaping the Earth.

I never took a stand it was because of constant UN sanctions we were justified in going to war with Iraq. The UN is a joke to me. The reason I believe we were right in going to war in Iraq was because they broke the cease fire agreement we had with them at the end of the original gulf war. We only agreed to stop the bombing based on their meeting certain conditions. When they threw all the inspectors out and continually shot at our planes, we should have gone in at once and overthrown Sadaam. Unfortunately, Clinton was too busy playing with cigars and a certain intern to be concerned with such things.

Hey, but at least he tried........

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
