Why will so many be deceived after the 1000 yrs

When Christ returns, the bible says we will be like Him.......

It boggles the mind.

I think it does play a part as who knows the mystery of God's timing. First, will it really be a "7" year trib, will it also be a 1000 year reign with Christ or does that equal to an arbirtrary figure like 60 years? Who knows? But you make a good point as ususal, man.

It is simple to me. We will still be human beings for nobody is sinless but Jesus. During this 1000 year reign does it say anywhere we are to live in a perfect world? I'm seriously ignorant of the fact if it is there please do point it out. But when satan is unleashed in God's timing, oh yeah, he is going to take as many down with him as he can by being sneaky, slimy, beautiful, deisired, etc.. he is going to do whatever it is he has to because he knows he's going doooooooooowwwwwwwwwwn!

So great is the depravity of man that even in the clear triumph of the gospel satan leads many into hopeless rebellion.

How was it that some one, that walked with God daily, talked with God daily, could fall to such a simple deception as Adam and Eve did..... remember, Adam was right there when Eve first took of the fruit.

these two had the very Word of God right there, they heard it for them selves, there could be no mis-interpretation, no King James, NIV, NASB..... it was plain and simple.... the same language that they spoke was the same language that God spoke.....

the trickery of satan has not improved, it has not changed at all.. it is the same as it was thousands of years ago....

Satan is very deceptive. He conviced 1/3 of the angels to go against God. Angels were designed for worship and service. Loving and worshipping God is in their blood(if they have blood), so why couldn't satan lead just as many of us away? That brings another interesting question to mind though... If angels are not given free will to oppose God, how did Satan muster up the courage to do so? If I'm wrong about this please correct me, but from my understanding, angels are servents of God and God alone.

There is definately a right answer. The question poses a false assumption that believers and non-believers will be around during the 1000 years. I will list below some scripture that shows that the saved (alive and dead) are taken up in the rapture, at the second coming of Christ. The wicked dead, stay dead, and the wicked living will be destroyed with the brightness of Gods coming. All the saints (raptured) go to heaven for 1000 years. Noone is left alive on the earth; only the corpses of the wicked. The second resurection takes place after the 1000 years. Satan gathers the resurection of the wicked and decieves them to think that they can take the city that God brings out of heaven.

1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

(As you can see here the seal of God, and the mark of the beast happens before Jesus returns and before the millenium begins)many poople think that it happens after the rapture. They were martyred and refused the mark of the beast before the 1000 year reign, and before Jesus comes back.)

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

(Jesus doesn't touch ground when he comes in the air, but the saved meet him in the air and go to heaven for a 1000 years. the earth is left with Satan and his angels, and all the corpses of the wicked. He is bound by circumstance for he has nobody to tempt.)

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

(you see the saved all die once,unless they are alive at his coming, but the wicked die twice. once at or before his coming, when the saved are raptured, and again after the 2nd resurection, or the resurection of the wicked.)

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, (Satan goes out to gather all the people from the second resurection....The Saints have already been sealed, and the rest lived not until the 1000 years were finished.)

Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(remember, God brings the New Jerusalem out of Heaven, after the 1000 years, right before he resurects the wicked. when the fire comes down from heaven and devours them, this is the second death. this is also Hell fire, or the lake of fire.)

(this is when the saints are accepting God's judgment to destroy the wicked. Their fate has already been sealed. God just wants the saints to see that his judgments are true and righteous so noone will ever doubt again. It is obviously speaking of the 2nd resurection)

(this is talking about recieving their judgment. God has already decided their case before the 1000 years when they were destroyed with the brightness of his coming. After the Saints review the books, they realize that there was nothing else God could have done to save the wicked, and then the judgment is executed, and the wicked recieve their reward. Death.)

When Jesus comes back for His people, He's done with this earth. A blessed Sabbath rest for the earth before being made new again. No second chances, our second chance is now before He comes. He's given us plenty of warning. This is why the Gospel goes to all the world before He comes, so all can make their decision now and be ready when He comes, for then it is over for those who would not come.

For those who do not have faith is it that they are "deceived", meaning somehow they have made a bad intellectual choice? I don't think so; people in the end will NOT follow Christ because they don't want to follow Christ. Remember the light came into the world, and those that practiced darkness did not like the light but preferred the darkness, those that practiced light came to the light.

Being deceived is not just a matter of 'wrong intellectual' choices. The Lord has laid out a journey that is not just an intellectual exercise, but a narrow road that is not exactly smooth. It cuts across all our natural tendencies. There are many deceivers who try to smooth out the way and widen the gate. They appeal to the carnal nature which if not crucified with Christ, is always ready to receive smooth sayings and deceivers who say that the road is easy and the gate is broad.

These 'false teachers' twist and spin the scriptures until rough mens smooth, persevere means cruise control, endure means OSAS, confess means say a little prayer, obedience is optional, death means eternal torture and up means down. Multitudes of 'professing christians' are already deceived by those who 'wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction', scattering 'every wind of doctrine', teaching fables instead of truth; bad choices based on 'carnal reasoning' instead of the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Here is a prime example of deception:

1jo 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

3:8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (sin).

3:9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (To sin, he must separate from God, for known, presumptuous sin separates man from God.)

3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not do righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

How many are deceived on this point.

You see we have the Holy Spirit to teach us the truth and identify deception. The reception of fables is an extremely dangersous situation, for it means the Holy Spirit is not being allowed to do His job, which means that the deceived one does not have the Spirit of truth dwelling in Him, or that he does not hear his voice, not a good situation in either case for it is the Holy Spirit who seals us unto the day of Redemption.

No, they cannot be for those who lived the first resurrection will not suffer a second death..those who are deceived must be those who choose Satan before first resurrection, their deception must be complete at the end of the thousand year reign and they are the millions that surround the "camp of the saints and the beloved city" those that chose Satan and the mark will then suffer the second death. They will burn for eternity..

So no, they could not be any of us because the second death has no power over us for we have experienced the first resurrection
