Not wearing socks is definitely the culprit. Also, some people just stink worse than others, so there could honestly be some kind of medical problem there to begin with. However not wearing socks with shoes is a BAD idea. Feet sweat and the sweat is absorbed into the shoes instead of the socks. No hope cleaning those bad boys, the shoes are forever gonna stank.

Get him new shoes and a year's supply of socks and tell him if you ever catch him wearing shoes without socks you'll drown him in the tub.... heh... or something like that.

i was told years ago...or my mom was told(she had more than one boy...and they all seemed to wear no socks and had stinky feet)...thank goodness we loved all of them..lol.anyway..back to what i was suggesting...that if you soak their feet in lemon water....or lemon juice...hmmm...something like that... i think it worked...to get the intial stink gone...then do the zinc!

My son is gross and wears no socks ...in less i catch him doing that! It must be a boy/guy thing...can i hear all the women say EWWWWWW!!!!

In Christ, Jenny.

Hmmmmmm....I have a problem with malodorous peds......and I wear socks....and I wash my feet.....and I *STILL* have the problem...here's the thing...my entire family has the same problem...my nephew could chase cockroaches away from his shoes just by taking them off.....we could keep cats out of our shoes with no problem, I used to have a cat that would literally open his mouth when he got near one of my shoes or my feet. It was hilarious!

And, I can guarantee you one thing....*looking inside shirt*....I am most DEFINITELY a woman...

LOL.... i was meaning the need to wear shoes WITHOUT socks must be a boy thing! My stepdad does it to this day(in the summer). With my son... we tell him to put socks on....and it is like he goes into stealth mode trying to get by you without you noticing that he disobeyed your request due to his preferences. I find myself buying shoes cuz the smell could actually kill cockroaches!!! And to think the experts say there is nothing that could kill cocroaches...that they could live through a nuclear fallout and my husband tells me they can survive a ride INSIDE a microwave (i think he may have tried to fry a few  )...well..even the cockroaches have met there match-my son's shoes!!!

Kabowd...let me know about bottling the odor...sell it to the Gov. can possibly be used in chemical warfare stuff... ROFL!!! We can sell them the idea of the shoes being the new improved nuclear bomb!

I am a clean person, I've baited, I've bombed and I've used boric acid. I spray three times a week and just can't get rid of these dagum bugs. I want your nephew's shoes. I'll cut them in peices and place them outside my house so that they don't want to ever come near here again...

Sorry, but I think you would need my nephew as well. He's not a, well, nice-smelling person either. He doesn't believe in deodorants. He lives by a strange Native American lifestyle. I had to go buy him some Old Spice one time because he was working for me and the customers were complaining about how badly he smelled....

And he lives somewhere in St Louis MO....

My little cousin has the stinkiest feet in the entire world and he's only 8 years old! How in the world?! This has got to be the worst odor ever to linger upon the planet and it's now stuck in my nostrils. What is the remedy for stinky feet? I sprayed him down with Lysol, but that stuff stinks almost as bad. We had some "medicated powder" so I made him sit on the floor and stick his feet in the air while I squeezed the can over his feet. BAD IDEA. We were both subsequently engulfed in a cloud of powdered anti-fungal. We were coughing and wheezing, it was nasty. AND HIS FEET STILL STUNK. He thinks it's funny. I'm ready to have his limbs amputated.

Any suggestions? I think the culprit is his shoes, but we've tried washing them, spraying them, powdering them...everything. This is seriously like a big mystery. I think he has a curse or something.

If a pair of shoes is already infected with smelly bacteria throw them out, you can't undo the smell. Daily scrub his feet with zest soap, use extra strength odor eaters in all his shoes, and have him change socks twice a day. Plus made sure he never re-wears dirty socks. Also make sure his tub or shower is clean, disgusting stuff loves to grow in those places re-infecting his feet with smell causing bacteria.

The prize for World's Stinkiest Feet goes to my now deceased Aunt Leona. We were camping out at about 7500 ft elevation, so even though it was summer, the evenings and early mornings were downright cold. Still Aunt Leona and the kids all wanted to sleep outside in our cozy sleeping bags and see the stars.

Well, we all woke up, when it started to rain a little. It got worse.....MUCH WORSE! So we all repaired to the large M*A*S*H type tent, where we began settling in until aunt Leona took off her boots. The smell was SO AWFUL that several of us opted to go out into the rain for the night!

I'd say get better shoes that breath, and make him wear cotton socks all the time - there's a reason we wear 'em  Not to mention bathing daily. Seems to me like he's just lazy and doesn't care about the stink

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
