The difficult thing abvout all of this is thaty sometimes we have a hard time separating ones eternal standing before God from their relative level of job performance. Without making a statement about my opinion of either in terms of the President, I think it is important for us as believers to have it clear in our own minds why we are supporting a candidate, and that we don't turn a blind eye to shortcomings in the area of performance because we are glad they know God.

Its sort of like going in for brain surgery. All things being equal I would like a good brain surgeon who is a believer. But given the choice between a good brain surgeon who is an athiesist and a bad christian brain surgeon, guess which I will take.

Please understand I am not making a statement about the President from my above statements. These are just my take on general principles

I too believe he know Jesus. I'm thrilled to have a president who knows how to pray and seek after the Lord. I pray that we can have another man as this one for our next president. The thought of Hillary Clinton makes me want to become sick.

Wouldn't that be a wonderful testimony for anyone to give about God's saving grace?

I like some of what the President has done, and I don't like some other things he has done.

I accept him at his word that he is a Christian, just as I do anybody else who would claim that unless I have knowledge otherwise. But I have a hard time voting for someone simply because they are a Christian or not. Particularly when the Christian vote is now so popular to be sought after, I think it opens us up to some abuses.

Hillary Clinton also says she is a Christian, in fact both her and our current president belong to the same denomination, Methodist USA.
