The Muslim opposition to the digging is that it is the Muslim position that the Temple Mount was never home to the Temple, and that the Jews have no historical connecition to either the Temple Mount or the Land.

Jewish excavation threatens to prove otherwise. The Muslim Waqf has been systematically trying to destroy anything it finds that might indicate a Jewish presence ever existed in that area in ancient times. Essentially, they are trying rewite history and write the Jews out of history as it pertains to the Temple Mount and the Land.

The damage to Alsqa Mosque is just a smoke screen for the real reason that they don't want Israelis excavating.

Wow, talk about falling back on ad hominem. Don't try and drag me into a debate about my sig. I believe what I believe, and if you don't agree, well, tough. I don't care.

On topic: Do you think you could show a shred of respect for what other people believe? Or is that just asking too much? Or are Muslims automatically fair game?

EDIT: If you do have an issue with my signature, have the decency to bring it up privately.

You are kidding aren't you??? You accuse those of us who decry Islam of being less Christian than you, and then scream foul when something you posted yourself is brought up. So tough right back at cha, I don't care either. Your sig isn't private, you put it there because it means something to you, evidently you wanted people to see it, so whats your point?

I have NO respect for Islam, Allah and the Koran, period, and also no respect for the evil men that govern it, I feel sorry for the regular everyday people who pratice it, there now you don't have to guess where I stand. And before you ask, yes I've read it, and commentaries about it both from the Islamic and Christian side.

Well. I expected some negative responses, but I'm quite surprised.

I think it's quite apparent at this stage that I have little love for Israel, and even moreso for her supporters. That will never change. So you can say what you will about Islam; I still think that in our post 9/11 world Muslims are just an easy target for people to last out at.

I make no bones about being an apologist for Islam. And if this should earn me a ban from the boards, then so be it; at the least I'll know where I stand.

I suppose I just don't care any more. There was a time when I gave half a ***n about what I typed up here - however little apparent that should be - but that's long gone. Every time I view topics like this I become more and more incensed, and I should be the bigger person and just say nothing, but like everyone else I'm not perfect.

It's true that it's not fair to tar an entire group of people with the same brush, something I've always been quick to criticise (and I know I am guilty of it, see above), as I'm sure there are others here who share my opinions. Or not; it doesn't really matter either way.

You know, you can shut yourself off and choose the view all religions with a hostile mind, but eventually that's going to be your downfall. You'll never live in a world where everyone follows the same faith as you, so at the least you should accept that there will be people of other faiths. Would you rather be an ignorant fool and stare down your nose at these people, or treat them with a little respect. But I'm talking to a brick wall, aren't I? It doesn't change the fact that I needed to say these things.

So. That's that, then.

So is it possible for you post something intelligent or do you plan to just continue foaming at the mouth about your hatred of Jews and anyone that supports Israel?

Hey Shiloh -

I appreciate your feelings, but I think we have a more serious problem with Kellard. Apparently, he doesn't know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. So how can love Israel if he doesn't love the King of Israel?

Kellard - I meant no offense, but I had back-read your previous to see what you had to say for yourself previously, and I saw a post where you stated that you follow the teachings of Jesus but do not have a relationship with Him. This is what I based my post above on.

As for your post here, what caught my eye was that you proclaimed yourself as an apologist for Islam. I do not understand how a person can consider Jesus his Lord and Savior if he does not believe Jesus is the only way to the Father, as He Himself has said.

When I first came to Worthy there was a group of people who were sensitive to people and their position spiritually. Care was taken to try and help people until they reached a point of being detremental to readers and were banned from the site.

What has happened to that spirit of help for people here...... This place has lost the spirit that made it a great place for everyone to come....... now it seems to be "agree with us few" or you're just waste and should go away.

I'm finding it harder and harder to recomend this place for people to find answers.

It's not ad hominem at all because it isn't a personal attack. It's looking at your world view and realizing where you are coming from.

As for your question, the Muslim religion is inherently violent, so yes, fair game.

I wasn't going to post anything but I see that I must. Nebula, I am (for the umpteenth time) a Roman Catholic. Just because I subscribe to a different view than the evangelicals here does not mean I have no knowledge of Jesus.

Just being a Roman Catholic means nothing really. The question is, where do you stand with Jesus, and where does He stand with you? Do you have a relationship with Jesus? Belonging to a denomination does not make you a Christian, anymore than a mouse living in cookie jar makes him a cookie. Lots of people have a knowledge of Jesus but that does not mean they love or follow him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
