Thank you George for your reply, its very biblicial.

Does the Bible not say that just as the days of Noah were they shall be before Jesus comes back, do you think this whole thing demons having sex with women can happen again or is happening already again? (Aliens or UFO's)?

I believe this happened just before the flood and that this was the reason for God to destroy everything that lived in that time.

You know how history repeats itself...

??

Thanks, Angels

I believe that too.

That is the reason given by God for the flood in Genesis 6. God saw things he could not stand being in the world, so He gave a 120 year deadline for things to change and then no body cared and they died for it. I find the Nephilim a facinating subject to study around, although it is not my final aim to understand these giants I still cannot get enough of the Antedeluvian culture. Did you know that Cain married Abel's twin sister? A big part of the reason he killed his brother so that he could take his wife who was said to be more attractive than Eve even. Facinating.

Genesis 6 vs 2+4

2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

I can accept that I sometimes talk of the Bible a bit synically but that is only because if I did not I would run into brick walls of mis interpretation. I am open to ideas of the weaknesses of the Bible. Once I was researcing wisdom for a discussion with a friend about wisdom and knowledge. I went through all the verses in my concordance picking out the ones that supported my argument and leaving the others. Later when God had sufficiently gnawed at me I went back and went through the others and found that I had only skimmed the surface and infact were saying not what I thought but something that actually supported me. If I indeed spot a trend between Enoch and Revelation then I am sure, due to the fact that God is real, that it will be upbuilding to my faith. If I find Enoch is an evil book full of false teachings then I will read on unafraid because even in false teaching I can learn. This was proved when I made contact with some Satanists. I don't shy away from what seems to be a weakness in the scriptures because if I look hard enough then I will always find that it infact it is saying something different to what I thought.

I don't want to end this thread incase someone has an opinion on the title, but thankyou everyone. I thought I was alone in the Christian community for having these kind of questions.

Azazel is a big theme in my book and the more information about his true nature the better.

I'm sorry, but I've read the bible some and I haven't come across any weaknesses yet. God is the author of the bible, through inspiration I believe and I wouldn't dare suggest that any of the bible was weak. Wrong choice of word usage I think. I am afraid I'm a bit fussy too and very defensive, if you know what I mean. No offence. :o

I think we know enuff about Azazel...God told us all He thought we should know....I think we should focus on knowing more of the Lord's will than finding out more about fallen angels....

We know what we need to know about them, they will suffer in the lake of fire.

It could be a little unhealthy spiritually to quest for such knowledge of the fallen ones.

Hi,

I dont think he means weakness of the original written word but of the translations. I have found many weaknesses of translations of the bible, but that does not take away from fact that the bible is inspired by God.

Many translations with a single omitted or mistranslated word destroy, confuse and/or weaken the whole context of a message and many translations are guilty of this even the KJV which some people hold in such high regard. This is why it is so important to study the word of God with diligence and carefulness.

I have even noticed that some translations have omitted, added, mistranslated words in attempt to bend scripture to fit the translator's doctrine. I am speaking of protestant translators.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jedi4Yaweh That's okay, you jokers stir up your demons and devils whilst I seek the joys of knowing that I'm protected from them. Luke.10:19. You can always find evil if you search long enough. Enoch's book was obviously left out of the bible for a reason. As for me and my house?..................catch ya later.

Hey Jedi, chill out a bit. I was neither hateful or mean, and my post was direcred originally to Fegor as he was enquiring about one called Azazel which is a devil of some sort. I also stated that I have never noticed any weaknesses in God's word the bible and I have read most of the versions. The translations may vary a bit, but the message is the same. I am not into demonology and the insinuation that the RCC was the institution that decided that the book of Enoc was not to be included in the cannon of the Word is news to me. I am neither angry or offended btw and never intended to be offensive. Just giving my opinion about people who chase demons....cheers.

-hmmmm....what are you talking about? And where do you attain your mean and hatefulness from? Have I said something to offend you? Are you angry because I said that some translations are faulty?

Gidday me old mate Gary. Hey bro you know it's not my scene to be rude to anyone, but the forum to discuss demonology is 'spiritual warfare' not 'doctrinal questions'. Satan, demons and devils never give me any problems because there aint no room for em to operate. The only folks that they can bother are the ones that take their focus off Jesus. I always said if you got yerself covered with the blood of the Lamb and are filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit, satan caint come within spittin distance of ya. So why scare the sox offn yerself by readin up on demons and stuff. Besides there's plenty of other message boards that cater for that kinda scary stuff LOL Karen will skin me alive if she reads this post, but I dont mind coz she's an expert not someone whos only been reading the Word for five minutes.

Hey! youall take care me old Texan cobber and tell Patsy g'day for me.

Love you guys heaps. :o

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
