Endure...you just don't understand what being re-born means.

Look up the definition of an overcomer in the bible....it's in 1John 5.

Your post just nowhere shows that we "loose" salvation once having received it.

Where are you getting scriptural evidence of the entering of names in the of life?

Where is your scriptural evidence of God blotting one's names out when they reach the age of accountability?  What is that age? Scriptures?

How do you reconcile your teaching in light of the present tense posession told us by God in 1 John 5: 13...

"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."

One who is re-born HAS eternal life NOW!  ETERNAL does NOT end!

I am not sure how to take your post, but here are some verses you may wish to consider:

Mark 10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

Mark 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

John 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

1 John 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us)

1 John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

Wherever you read that we have "eternal life", it is saying that "we have Jesus". As noted in the Mark verses, by abiding IN HIM, we shall inherit ETERNAL LIFE "in the world to come".

I have already shown you all the appropriate verses you need. Also, I never mentioned anything about the "age of accountability".

The way I understand it from my own studies is that everyone is written in the book of life that ever gets the breath of life. In that record or file are all of the deeds, good and bad of the person. If the person becomes saved the bad deeds are erased, the good remain and if the person rejects the Holy Spirit the whole name gets blotted out, gone, outta here. No names covered in the blood of Jesus will be blotted out.

ok, then i will take the word of dad ernie too. i will assume then that these verses are evidence that either God is a liar, or that the men who wrote the Bible were making things up as they went along... in either case, i can assume then that there is no Jesus, or salvation, and that i will be reincarnated as a cockroach in the next life:

Hello all, From reading Matt.25:34 I have agree That our names are already in the book of life.

That verse alone idicates to me (and I'm not the brightest sheep in the flock) our name was there in the beginning, and as DE has mentioned God keeps an eraser for those who make the wrong choice.

the Father has prepared a kingdom for all of mankind. that doesn't mean that all of mankind will accept it.

to believe we are written in the book at the foundation of the world is to believe in predestination as opposed to salvation.

Ok I will try to make this simple. I believe that God has written into the book of life all people down thought history who have faith in Him and all the little ones who die before they come to know good or evil.

From the foundation of the world means all the names where in the book before adam was a boy. I believe the names blotted out of the book of life are people who have had faith but then rejected there faith in God and died in the state of rejection.

I believe God knew all the people in history that would have faith in Him from His foreknowledge. That is God knows all history to the level of knowing the lives of all human beings before they ever existed.

Romans 8:29

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

foreknowledge comes before predestination.

2 Peter 2

Dad Ernie go back and re-read some other post I was answering about the age of accountability, not yours.

I agree with what you have said.

I agree that if you reject Jesus THEN you are blotted out.

God wants ALL to repent and be saved. Read 2Peter3:9.

This makes it logical that ALL names are begun in the book of life.

Do a study and you will see that only ones who do not do the will of the Lord are blotted out. His will is that ALL should repent.

Don't have belief with repentance, you don't get saved...you get "blotted out".

So this name written in at the foundation of the world is NOT a predestination thing, it is God loving and wanting each and everyone to repent...so much that He enters ALL names......but you choose to receive or reject Him.

Rev 3:5 guarentees that if you get re-born you will not be blotted out.

Definition of an overcomer in Rev 3:5 is found at 1John 5.

This shows that one who is born of God is an overcomer....Jesus told us in John 3 that one must be re-born to see that kingdom of heaven.

In John 3:16 He tells us how to get re-born.

As for infants killed in abortion...where do they go?...if you say heaven...then when did their names get written in the book of life?
