Jobs wife loved Job,

and after seeing every thing that this man went thru, and was suffering physically, dont you maybe think that she might have had a morsal of compassion and wanted to see him pain free?????

not being the woman of God as Job was a man of God, dont you think maybe she did not fully understand what was happening?????

after Job survived these big ordeals, Job was very much blessed by God and had an entirely new family..... for the first set of children were too busy partying to worry about how the family business was going......

anyways, at the end, the Lord blesses him with twice as much ...................

some times people get stuck on a name of some one... and what does it really matter???? who is it about????

was it about Job's wife? Job or how some one was an example to us how faithful we are to be to God? or is the entire thing about God.....

Intersting but it doesn't fit, does it? Job was from the land of UZ, which is somehwere the Euphates River. Jacob and his people lived in Canaan prior to their journey to Egypt. Another long distance romance? Maybe. Regardless, the book of Job never says anything about Job being under the covenant of Abraham thereby implying that he was not a descendant of Abraham. I would think it would have mentioned it. Maybe the Job of Genesis was an offspring of Job of the Book of Job?

Job was probably a very common name.

YHVH is a tetragrammaton - kind of a fancy word. It just means "Jehovah."

I don't agree with that no one prior to Christ's death and resurrection was filled inwardly with the Holy Spirit.

God-man -- did you mean to say that no one prior to Christ's death and Resuurection was filled inwardly with the Holy Spirit? The only folks that I can recall that were "filled with the Spirit of God" were Bezalel and Oholiab but that was for a specific purpose. Do you see a difference between the inward infilling of the Holy Spirit (is that the same as the indwelling) and the "filled with" for a specific purpose?
