Hi! do you think it's possible for the devil to make you hear things that don't really happen in reality???? I mean, things that can be hurtful like whispers and rumors and the like.

And if that's possible, what do you think of "the other way around", meaning that other ppl may see you in a different way because of a demonic interference (when in reality, you aren't like those ppl see you).

I ask this because lately I've hear things and seen things and been in certain situations that don't make any sense or don't seem to fit with reality.

P.S. what means when someone takes your picture and your face looks blurry, kind of what happened in the movie "the ring"?

I think so. Satan is a deceiver and he and his minions can communicate with us via our spirit.

Just minutes after I opened this thread, a very strange thing happened to me that makes me absolutely sure that I'm under the attack of evil. The other times I thought that "maybe it was just me" but this time, oh boy, there's really no other explanation for it.

Anyway, I've been thinking about this all day and I think that if the devil (or whatever other demon) is unleashing this attack against me, it's because maybe he's starting to realize that when I decided to leave the path of perdition he had traced for me for over a year now, I decided it for good and there's no way I'm coming back. I've been praying a lot for this.

I truly believe that is possible. I've never experienced that, but in the past, my Fiance has experienced that. Mostly hearing things, that no one said.

Things like kill yourself, you're nothing, no one could love you. etc.

It is very real and an attack from Satan. Prayer is the key. talk to God, and ask Him to comfort and protect you.

Unfortunately I know it happens.

I have experienced it numerous times. I've yet to figure out why Satan keeps bothering me, but he's constantly throwing something at me.

I've seen things that were not there in the physical before.

Mobil, I don't know all you are going through, but you need to "Submit to God" and "resist the devil."

It's best if you can find someone to pray over you and help you out one-on-one. But if not, for now, besides crying out to Jesus, you need to believe that Jesus has given you the authority to "trample on snakes and scorpians" (remember when Jesus commissioned His disciples when He sent them out two-by-two?), and command those/that evil spirit to submit to Jesus and to go away! And if they are stubborn, start worshipping your heart out to the Lord, keep submitting to the Lord in everything, keep resisting the demons, and quote Scriptures.

I was on my own one time when I got "jumped on" by a demon (so to speak). This is kind-of what I did and it finally went away.

So, can you do that?

The thing about the blurry person in the pic...the camera prolly wasn't in focus, or the lighting was weird.

FOr me it happends alot with digital cameras.

As for the Movie the Ring...that was totally ficticious, and shouldn't even be thought about twice.

I've got a weird one for you. I was reading another thread and saw where somone was trying to cite a contradiction in the gospels concerning the events when Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to Christ's tomb. I went to the book of Matthew and the book of John to ensure for myself that there was no contradiction, however, I kept seeing the word alone in John's account when it said that Mary Magdalene went to the tomb. I was NOT assuming this, I actually saw the word "alone" in the verse as I read it, which made it appear as a direct contradiction instead of an omission.

I had somone on the live chat help me by reviewing Matthew with me, then John. When he got to John, he stated "yeah...that omits the other Mary". Then when I read it again after seeing him say that, I didn't see the word "alone" in the verse anymore.

I had just gotten to a point where I could accept Genesis 1 for exactly what it says as well as accept the rest of the Word of God from cover to cover as being infallable and then I was being hit by this apparent contradiction because I was literally reading words that weren't even there.

Now I wonder how many false doctrines develop because people are seeing something that is not even there.
