Sleeeping..

I was sleeping, or half sleeping and I kept hearing the same phrase. While I was sleeping or half sleeping I kept talking to myself about it. But what the phrase was "be gentle tongued, and tender hearted". Anyones opinion is welcome. This phrase was intense while I was knocked out and than when I awoke.

yes thats what it feels like to me. A command and it also felt very loving. But- the life I lived before it was common spirits before. I dont want to confuse the two. You know what I mean?

To me it sounds as if you heard nothing that is contrary to God's word. Can you see anything in your life where you have spoken harshly to someone or maybe you haven't been understanding of another persons needs when you should have been.

I think maybe it is a good idea to pray and ask God to show you the truth.

Hey, was there a tv or radio on while you were sleeping? That has happened to me before when what ever conversation was being spoken was being played in my dreams. Some of it was good and some not so good. Either way, what you heard, is not out of line with God. It is a good thing. Its a good thought to carry around. Its good advice to share with others.

I dont know about half sleeping and being knocked out as being the same thing.

I agree with this and also you said it felt loving, so common spirits would not give you this feeling.

It would be best to pray if you are worried about where it came from.

Had a couple of chains on this topic a few months ago:discerning if God or not and massive deception going on. 1John 4:1-6 key Scripture, remembering from 1 Corinthians 14 that "God is not the author of confusion, but of peace".

"Radio Bible Class" back in the early 1990s had in one of their "Daily Bread" the phrase "hit and run visitors". As I recall, was referring to a horrible thought/mind picture/etc. coming to someone. Lots of times making the person think that they must really be an awful person. 1 John 4:3 spirit. However, had a significant number of experiences with "good thoughts" which 1 John 4:1-6 and other Scriptures{prayer indeed included} showed source. Satan/devil/etc.

If "a still, small voice" says "Jesus Christ is Lord" or "God is Love" lots of Christians would think/teach source was "God".

Yes, indeed, might very well be "God". 2 Thessalonians 2:4 one.
