ABC Nightly News reported last week that Exxon had a record $46 Trillion profit last fiscal year. Why am I being led to believe that the oil business is in trouble and has to pass the cost of business to me at the pump?

Because they know we'll pay whatever price they throw at us.

If everybody only drove when they absolutly had too, the price of gas would drop like a rock.

There's no reason for gas prices to be as high as they are, but until we get it through our heads that we can do something about it, they will continue to rise.

We the people have the power to change things, but we won't. We expect everyone else to fix our problems. We sit back and complain and ask for solutions.

We are the solution.

Ah, that's right....the Imperial gallon is larger than the US gallon! There are 4.546 09 litres in the Imperial gallon.
