I have a question on paranormal manifestation. Since I was a very little girl, I could always remember seeing and communicate with spirits (some good, some not). I believe that I have had encounters with Angels as well as other spirits. I have noticed some changes over the last two months in how my seeing is working. How do I know for sure what kind of spirit I am dealing without communicating with the spirits that I am seeing?

I am still having a lot of stuff going on that I am fairly certain is a negative spirit but not all of them seem that way. I kind of expected to quit seeing when I chose to believe; however, that did not occur. It seems that I seem to have gotten even more sensitive which is so bizarre.

** note: when I say, "seeing," I mean with my open eyes not my mind. My animals have responded to the spirits when I have seen them so this is no act of my imagination.

Sister it is not at all bizarre. If you can see spirits with the naked eye ball you should consider it a gift from God. Because not every body can see spirits. If you want to know if the spirit is good or bad you should ask God for a confirmation. If God doesn't give you one and you don't know whether they are good or bad don't have anything to do with them at all. It is always better to be safe then sorry. If you don't know what you are dealing with. Don't deal with it.

My sister, because of my past with dark things I too am sensitive to this area, as I have discussed in another thread with ya. Being sensitive and able to see and feel things can be a gift, but can also be a traumatic event. Many people who are not sensitive this way may have a hard time comprehending these things. They are real, very much so, but mixing with spirits can pull you in ways that will always twist you, unless sent by the Father. Even Satan himself can come as an angel of light, 2 Corinthians 11:14. 1 John 4:2 Hereby ye know the spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. Ask the Lord to keep your armor constantly renewed Ephesians 6:10-17. As I and many have said, anything you have left over from that life... destroy it, let nothing stand anymore between you and the Father. Your Father in Heaven sees what is going on, if you couldn't stand up under it then He would intervene, unless you willingly still continue to submit and give these things leadway. I understand how you feel sister, I have never sat and had any discussions with spirits, but I understand having to rebuke spirits and spiritual warfare all too well Angelique. To share these things with Worthy is alot for me to do. I don't normaly put myself out there like that, most things from the Lord I keep between the Lord and I. But I feel compelled to share because of the post that you have given from your heart. There are consequences for sin and disobedience sister, continue to pray to be released from the things that are troubling you. You will never feel peace though until you really let go and trust fully in Jesus. Now is the time Angelique, commit fully sister, not half way. You are not alone in this battle, and I am sure that there are alot of other people who have similar experiences, maybe not at the depth of you and I, maybe so, but it is real. Jesus is the way Angelique, nothing can take you from our Father in Heaven.

Not necessarily our thoughts (IMO) but the words we speak. Scripture mentions to be very careful with the tongue. When Jesus spoke, He said that His words are Spirit. Our words very much affect what goes on in the spiritual realm. For instance our prayers which may seem to us as a simple prayer... infact has an great effect in the spiritual realm.

Amen 7thseal, satan knows when we are weak by how we speak. What we speak shows if we are spiritually strong or weak at that time. If we were to speak His words at ALL times imagine the changes that would occur in the spirit!

Angels are spirit beings....................

demons are spirit beings..................

we are told to judge the spirits.........

in order that we may know what is good or bad, we need to study that which is good.... we need to stay in the Word, burying it in our hearts.... and when we have it buried in our hearts, knowing it.... when we know we know we know it with out any doubt, (a long time in coming) we can see into the hearts of these spirits (angels or demons) and know which they are......

people do have encounters with spirits, good and bad, the definition of "spirit" is what is in question.....

Man is a spirit being, trapped in a human, physical body..... it is up to us to crucify this body, daily, and bring it into alignment with that of God, our existance is spirit, soul, mind, we are limited only by what we know we can do. Peter walked on water, taking his physical body beyond that of what others have done....... Jonah, survived three days in the depths of the sea in the belly of a great fish, far beyond the scope of the physical...... Phillip, his body moved from one part of this earth to another in just a blink of an eye.... Paul, shaking off a viper that had just bit him, and the viper dies instead of Paul....

what we are is not of the flesh, it is in our souls, our spirits, that really make us up. this flesh will rot away, our spirit will last forever, either with God, or separated from God......FOREVER.......

Angels, too, some will live separated from God, others will live with God.

the Spirit world and the Physical world do over lap..... Abram, Jacob, Lot, Mary, Joseph, Isaiah, Joshuah, and many others have had documented accounts of having encounters with the Spirit World, (another is Saul with Samuel)...

good, and bad, spirits touch our lives.... we are to judge as to whether or not they are of God or not.... the spirit world is nothing to be played with.... a young lady friend, was physically lifted up and thrown down the stairs, then picked up and thrown across the room up against a wall.... witnessed by her mother.... no other physical being (human) was in the house.

I know a lady that has done physical/spiritual battle with a demon, and beat it. it had been pestering her taunting her for some time..... she did not do battle against it until she was ready, she picked (with the prompting of the Holy Spirit) the time to encounter it in battle. there is only one way to prepare for battle against such a spirit.....PRAYER AND FASTING.....

There are times ( Are you for us? or against us?...... neither, I am for God......) that the spirits of God, the Angels of God do manifest themselves among us....... to help us, to guide us, to warn us, to admonish us, to minister to us, and to escort us and protect us.....

anyways, judge the spirit that you are encountering....
