Hey bro. He's not my president. I'm Canadian! lol

Although my silly Prime Minister would likely say the same thing.

All while the enemy around us is slowly destroying us, from the inside and the outside.

I hope I never become so close-minded and xenophobic as to say things like this.

close minded or not, it dont matter, cause it is true...... the enemy is here to kill steal and destroy all that is of Gods..... and will do anything and everything to try and deceive those that want to follow God.... and those that are not following Gods ways are under his spell in such a way that they feel that they are being persecuted when in all actuallity, they are just being told the truth.....

it is a shame that we are unable to tell the truth anymore with out being told that we are being intollerant, and not being politically correct.....

there is a child i know of that was wearing a tee shirt that said

" liars will go to hell " and on it also had the verse that talks about liars not getting into the Kingdom of Heaven.....

he had to remove or cover up the tee shirt while in school..... however, other kids wearing tee shirts promoting drugs, sex, and other nastyness are allowed to continue to wear theirs.....

if a person at work starts using Gods Glorious Name in praise, or in wittness they are told it is improper to do so, but if another person uses Gods name with a swear word in front or behind it, then that is ok.....

it is ok to talk about sex, drugs, and drinking and other perverted things, but it is not ok to talk about God.......

you see, what was being told is the truth.... but you do not feel that talking about God is politically correct, so you think that it is closed mindedness that we have... no, it is not being closed minded, it is standing on what we do believe, not being wishy washy.....

if I say homosexuallity is a sin.... and I will not tolerate it or the behavior in my house, either in real life or on TV, or radio or any other way, that is not being closed minded, that is saying I do not want it affecting my life, what so ever......

if I say there will not be any thing watched that has any sexual inuendos and worse in it, and that there will be no shows that have any cuss words in it, or things of this nature, that is not being closed minded, that is standing on my beliefs and morals......

if you come to my house and start cussing, you may be trying to find all the parts of your ear in the little holes in the side walk after I throw you out on your ear...

Yes, that is being intollerant of sinful acts.... and no, that is not being closed minded.........

for if you do not stand for something.....

you will fall for anything......

and it sounds like you already fell for the deception of the enemy....

as others have said, I will pray for you also.....

Don't you see what is happening? Religious fundamentalism at any level is wrong. It's wrong for Muslim fundamentals to hate Christianity and America blindly like they do, and it's wrong to hate muslims like many people here do. This thread is bringing out the ugly side in people, muslims aren't here to attack Christianity or America. I mean this attitude that some people have here (not saying you cause I don't know where you stand) is borderline paranoid. The only ones here that are dangerous are the muslim fundamentals, and they are in the small minority.

Also you have a right to think that sex, drugs, homosexuality, cursing, etc. are morally wrong. That's your opinion and you are entitled to have it. But why do you feel that others should live by those same moral standards if they don't abide by them?

And why is everyone praying for me? I don't understand this.

According to George Bush, it is the same God. And let us not forget, our very own current President declared Islam as a religion of peace.

Hi brother John,

It is the same God. It is the same God that will judge Mohammed for his doctrine as well as his influence on billions of people. It is the same God that will judge the billions and billions of muslims who have followed Mohammed, right or wrong. It started out with Ishmael and his descendents.

That is why when I say it is the same God, it is becasue they are the seed of Abraham. But I am no way endorsing them as a cult or religion, and I am not endorsing Mohammed. I choose to let God figure that one out...:D

And Ronald, if you hit me with libarace again, I got Big Bertha waiting for you...:D

Have a blessed day,

senerhu

You have touched the hearts of many on this board. You seem to have a captivating personality that is pleasant and good and for that reason, and others, many here pray that someday you'll see what Jesus was saying and why. I know I do. That really affected my the other day when you decided to denouce God and not be a slave to anything. (Although, in my way of thinking, that makes you a slave of satan, but that is another topic...lol). I know what the results of that action are between you and God, and based on my assessement of your qualities and characteristics (although I don't know many of them, but I feel I know enough), I was extremely sadden and depressed for that statement.

I for one am glad you came back!

Your brother in Christ,

senerhu

It's really quite simple. We love YOU, yes YOU!!! You are precious in the Lord's eyes. And in ours too.

The qur'an commands muslims to kill the infidels!!! The muslim 'extremists' are not so extreme! They are doing as their 'prophet' told them to do!!!

I guess this point was missed. I live in a country where they believe at least 100 Al Quaida terrorists are hiding. They will do what their 'holy' book commands them to do and what their current leader tells them to do when they are told to do it. They are 'puppet's who believe their reward will be great if they kill and die themselves while doing so.

I never said I hate Muslims, infact, when I was in the middle east, I had a wonderful time in town with the local people, had a grand time. but I did not bow down to their beliefs, I did however make sure that when it was time for the call to prayer, i was indoors, why??? cause if I had not been I would have been required to bow down with them.... so in order not to be subject to insulting them, I ensured i was inside where I would not hinder their view of mecca.....

does that mean I agree with their belief??? No, not in the least. just that I respect them as people..... I also broke the law while there, I wore Christian insignias as I walked down town, and you know, the only people that said anything about it were from the United States....

we do not hate Muslims, we just know that they are not true believers, and do not know the truth.....

as far as what is right and wrong, that is pretty much cut and dry'd..... Morally right may also be wrong..... as the laws are going in some areas it is morally ok to be homosexual, that is still wrong even thou the law says it is ok..... some places it is morally wrong to show the sole of your foot to others, some places it is morally wrong to eat left handed, some places it is morally wrong to belch after eating, some places it is not morally wrong to have sex with some one other then your spouse, morallity is not a hard line set of rules, in the middle east you use your right hand forevery thing, except cleaning yourself, in france you may have all the mistresses you wish to have, even if you is married, in Thiland, you go by the rule if it dont hurt anyone then it is ok.....

there are some that feel that there is no need for a sinless life, or to be saved or to have Jesus, they feel that every one will get to heaven in the end, there are some that feel that after we die we go some where else and can work off our sins so that we can get to heaven..... these are false.....

unless a person has Jesus in their life as their Personal Lord And Savior, and Live for Him, then they dont have anything after this life except judgement before the Lord, and that will not be a pleasent thing......

as far as drugs, homosexuality, cursing and such as this being my opinion....

I guess you can say that, for in my opinion, if a person loves God then they will keep His commandments........ ( that is what is written, that is what is to be done )

Senerhu touched on a good point. There is only one God that will judge us all. I just don't think that the majority of the muslim faith have that same God in mind. I've talked with many over there and they reject the Holy Trinity and dismiss God in that sense as heresy and refuse the idea that God is in three forms. They believe that is a form of polytheism.

Now, we know that only one way is the truth. I choose to believe in God that shows Himself in three distinct beings. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

I don't believe in their version of what God is, but yes, they will be judged as I will be, with no respect to persons.

This thread seems to have turned into a pro vs. anti-muslim debate, and I think most are missing the big picture. It's not about whether or not you think muslims are "nice" or "evil" people. It's about how the governments in the United States are treating Christianity and other religions on unequal grounds.

I happen to live in the Detroit area. The city of Hamtramck's (suburb of Detroit) city council met and officially approved and passed a resolution allowing the muslims to broadcast their call to prayer via loudspeakers throughout the entire city.

Now, this is happening in a country where cities are being told they can't put manger scenes on the front lawn of city hall because it would be promoting Christianity. Yet this city can officially condone the muslim call to prayer? Residents are going to have to listen to how great Allah is 365 days a year, 5-times a day! What are the Christian's living in the city to do? Do you think if the Baptists or Pentecostals had gone to the city council to ask permission to do something like this it would have been approved? "Oh, we can't do that - we MUST seperate church and state!" The bottom line is this - seperation of church and state (which is a made up farce anyway) ONLY applies when the church in question is Christianity.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
