I agree with everything you have said. It is a disaster. And the Christians do need to get together and demand equal time. There are several problems . . .

Press is already involved. Every person that was against this was portrayed by the muslims and by the press as a hate mongering racist. And you know that once you are portrayed as a hate mongering racist, no one is going to listen to a word you have said. Of course, the TV news went and found one person that said "muslims are stupid", and they played this over and over again. Not one racist comment was heard from any other person. Many people were not even opposed to it on a religious basis. They just didn't want their peace disturbed 5-times a day with blaring loudspeakers. Imagine getting woke up to that wailing every morning at 6:00! I mean, religious implications aside, imagine how horrible that would be! As soon as anyone mentioned being against it though, they were immediately labled racist.

The churches within the city of Hamtramck do need to rally against this, or, at the very least broadcast the Lord's prayer every day as you said. Trouble is I don't think the churches are going to get involved because of the negative press it will generate (non-tolerant, racist, muslim hating Christians!).

I can't do anything about it myself because I don't live in the city of Hamtramck. If I did, I would be taking this to the Supreme court if I had to.

You won't be able to hear it. It's not actually Detroit that is doing it, it is Hamtramck.

Another thing that astounds me is how many women's groups, NOW, etc. stand up for these people. Do they not know how they treat women? How they mutilate them? How they kill them for looking cross-eyed?

You're absolutely right. It makes no sense whatsoever that women's groups would stick up for muslims. But the more the devil can unite the anti-Christians together, the more it will seem as though the Christians are the the only 'intolerant' ones - the outsiders, the 'hell-raisers' so to speak.

JP1: This is certainly precedent setting stuff here. If it happens in one community it will happen again. Hopefully the non-Christians will complain about their peace being regularly disturbed. Maybe we should be praying for this. That the common regular-joe's will protest this nonsense.

there is a little boy that was taken into slavery when his village was over run, he knows.... he had both his legs nailed to a large board and left in a field to die.

this little boy's only crime was he went to a Christian church service as a slave to a muslim...... this little boy had lost his famil y due to the muslim raid on his village ( this is with in the last 10 years )..... so they are a just and nice bunch of people >?>

while I was in the middle east, we were told and ordered not to wear any Christian medalions, or other insignias that are Christian, when going ashore, and the quarter deck watch, was not allowing anyone that had any Christian insignias on to depart the ship......

there was a lady that went to Saudi to work so she could send money back to her family, when her employer was ready, he made a pass at her, and she refused, being Christian, she stood her ground..... when she refused he beat her, and raped her and then bound her, and raped her again and again.... when he was tired of her, he hung her upside down out side an upper story window..... when he was tired of looking at her he cut the rope that supported her, and she fell, he left her for dead...... she was not a muslim, so there was no charges brought upon him. she made her way to the street where a westerner seen her and took her to a hospital, and risked arrest for assisting some one that is an infidal....

the woman survived, and after she recovered, she was sent to a womans facility for those that refuse to convert to islam, and was to remain there until she either died or converted...... nice people, and we are supporting them? we are protecting them? doing business with them????

I do not hate the people, I do not condone their actions, nor their belief, nor their treatment of anyothers that are not like them....

and as I said before...... time for stereo wars..... break out the Christian churchs loud speakers and lets have Amazing Grace played at ultra high volumn levels ( lets say about 20000 watts ) in BAG PIPE MUSIC........

oh, have to do this 5 or more times aday, to at least coincide with the same time the call to prayer is played....

And how about the woman who had her lips and ears cut off in the name of allah. That's been on the news here quite a bit. Of course, not the secular news. They would rather promote the "religion of peace." They will promote anything that is anti-God!!! The one TRUE GOD!

As I've thought about this, "stereo wars" is definately not the way to go. The poor citizens of this community just want peace and quiet, and adding to the loudspeaker ruckus isn't going to help that matter any.
