I just think that maybe their 13yr olds are more mature than alot of twenty yr olds! Its a different way of life. I think we over value marrying for "love". Marriage is a partnership

and who says they are not willing?

...that's the point. You "think". That is conjecture based on some false assumptions. We're not talking about marrying for love. We are talking about rape, slavery, cultish behaviors, child abuse...and if we stood by and allowed it to continue, we'd be just as guilty. These are real lives...real souls. Ask the young girl who broke away and reported the activities withing the cult if she was willing or not. I think it is safe to assume that she was not willing.

that's one of my points... I am thinking.. I don't know! But you are assuming a lot there...

no matter what you think 13 year old girls are not physically mature enough to be having babies without a SERIOUS effect on their health...It is hard enough to carry and give birth to a child for a body that has finished growing ..what you are saying is that in your opinion it is ok for CHILDREN to have to give up all the joy of childhood in order to satisfy the lusts of old men and it is the CHILD that has to go through the physical pain involved in child bearing.....what next is it ok to marry off babies ..it would save the parents the bother of bringing them up. As for keeping the children with the parents ..it was the parents INCLUDING the mothers who agreed to ( or at least did nothing to stop ) these rapes ...no doubt they themselves had been brainwashed into thinking this was not only acceptable but their duty .If this was happening in a so called third world country most people wpould be shaking their heads at how ill informed and backward the people were and would be congratulating the " officials" for saving the children.

13 year olds being forced to have sex with middle aged men; women and girls forced from puberty to have children, in effect, being used as brood mares. Wives and children taken from excommunicated men and 'assigned' to someone else. Spousal abuse with no recourse to the law and several reports of child abuse as well. No legal marriage whatsoever, just 'spiritual marriages'. Children not sure who their parents are, women unable to leave if they wish to, no birth records on file for these people, children not being vaccinated. How many more do you want? And how do you know families are being torn apart? These people won't even give their last names.....or they may not know them. Some also are not sure how old they are. This is the biggest mess I've ever heard of. :24:

I am truly distressed at the taking apart of these families!!!

Well, if they are having to take DNA tests to determine the child's parentage, it sounds like the families are alread split up.

Are you saying they the "families don't know who belongs to who?

lots of them dont appear to know ...and if you have multiple wives and as much inbreeding as has gone on there it ends up in confusion without the added complications of the fact that the women and children are giving different names and ages each time they are asked...if they have nothing to hide why do the try to confuse :24:

Firstly, I was talking to you. I was responding to your implied assertion that marrying a 15-year-old is not a big deal.

Recent psychological research indicates that even young people as old as 19 to 20 are not developed enough to make rational decisions. Even iof we judged by the law, the age of 18 is really not "adulthood" in terms of having the ability to make rational life-changing decisions such as committing to a marriage and having children. So why in the world would you consider 15 to be a reasonable age at which a girl can commit to marriage and child rearing? A 15-year-old has no idea what a true "partnership" is or what it implies. I do not agree at all that any 15-year-old is more mature than a 20-year-old.

What do you make of the need for the DNA testing?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
