  1. @NConly I do love Psalm 2 with its contrast between the conspiring kings of the earth and God's statement: "Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion" (verse 6).

  3. well . . . I have nothing for Thanksgiving, but have been working on various 3D printed projects with the intent of possibly selling them on Etsy. I have been learning how to 3D print for the last year and a half and have finally learned how to print some nice things. I would be interested to know what you think of them (please be honest). The cats can be customizable and the medallion is a coat of arms I made for a family member . . . . At the very least I have fun designing and printing . . . Have a great Thanksgiving!!! Grace and Peace . . . Ray

  4. I think it's bad to play semantics. No matter what you want to call him, I think Revelation is quite clear there WILL be a man who rules the earth that will be opposed to everything of God. He will commit unspeakable crimes against the human race and massacre millions of believers. I think Anti-Christ is a fitting term.,

  6. these truths have been submerged through the ages, and its no wonder the world has fallen into apostacy. Paul is the bridge between the Jewish nation and the Gentiles. before God commissioned Paul the world view was Jewish and nation based...if the Jews as a nation had accepted Christ as their Messiah then that would have been the completion but as we all know that wasnt to be. God, turned to the Gentiles and used Paul as the Apostle to the Gentiles so it turned from a nation getting saved to individual's getting saved. NB; Jews can get saved but they have to come through Paul who is the Apostle to the Gentiles. Peter cannot understand some of Paul's epistles because these were revealed directly to Paul from the Lord. However Peter is in agreement with Paul and says as much in Acts 15 along with the church council. so Paul is the real deal which is what set me off on this journey quite a while back now. before i studied Acts, Because i thought ok so why is mainstream Church Peter friendly, which got me thinking, why isnt Peter the one, after all he was one of Jesus' very own disciples. i wrestled with that for the longest time. and then i embarked on a study of Paul's epistles and started to 'see why' it is Paul and not Peter who is our Apostle for today because he has the central teachings of what it is to be a Christian. something which is absent with Peter and that is a big deal when you are struggling to make sense of the foundation of Christianity. Paul also warns us about these days, something which is lost on mainstream church. Paul had revelations by the Lord himself and God is not a liar so that is where i am now. its 'hard' to let go of the mainstream church, not that i was 'really into it.' i think, the messages i heard and kept were from childhood, because i went to church (under duress!) most Sunday's and was exposed to OT based preaching and wrong dispensational preaching, is it no wonder i felt contempt for church as a child...(sorry to say) and later as an adult when i got back into church i was reminded once again how austere church still is (Anglican church that is, along with being frightfully intellectually dry.) and so i tried the Pentecostal/Evangelical movement and at this time i was studying the bible in earnest so by easter of this year i fully could 'see' the errors of these movements.

  12. Have you heard of the `Courts of Heaven,` or the `Trading Floor of Heaven?` On the best seller book lists. I`m putting together some notes to show how these are Doctrines of Demons - lie upon lie and departing from the Faith. I want to do a detailed series on my blogs and also start a thread or two on this important topic. I believe it is the `final battle` we will have against the truth of God`s purposes for the Body of Christ in these days.

  13. Well, all that is revealed with the opening of the 7 Seals pertains to the natural wickedness of unregenerate humanity and God's Righteous Judgments upon it. This theme is a thread that runs right through the Bible, and many passages in Revelation cross-reference with OT passages. Only the Lamb that was Slain is worthy to open the seals, such is the polarisation between righteousness and unrighteousness. We join with the Heavenly Host in proclaiming "Worthy is the Lamb..."

  15. Hi mabel, I do understand what you are going through. The pain of looking at the horror in this world and then also the pain of desiring our family and friends to come to know the Lord. Now I have a few thoughts. Remember when you were a small girl and perhaps you hurt yourself and cut your leg. There was blood and pain. You cried and your father wanted to help you. But what if you ran away and hid. You still had the pain and it probably would get infected and worse. Your father wanted to help but you wouldn`t let him. That is like a picture of us and our heavenly Father. He wants to help us but we carry the pain in our hearts and eventually it makes our whole body sick. We are so distressed and can`t understand why God wont help us. But you see we have to come to the Father (through Jesus) and yield up all that pain to Him. He will carry it, He will heal and give you peace. BUT we have to let go of it! That is the trusting that we need to grow in, to trust the Lord more and more. praying, Marilyn.

  17. I have just rediscovered that I wrote this, and I am blessed that you people read it, and took it the right way. I do not mean to judge anyone, for having shortcomings like mine, but to encourage them to be more active in demonstrating our love for our Savior, and the people He died to save. Thank you all, for your encouraging words!

  18. I think it is important to remember that when we see a posting , that may represent a person whose heart may already be breaking. We don't have to fully understand or agree w/ their circumstances but we should make certain that are words are "salt and light" and not "salt in the wound".

  20. I believe that God's 'eternal purpose' was/is to procreate. That 'eternal purpose' was before the realms. God wanted to 'share' being. To share existence. His Nature exhibits 'Fatherhood'. Loving Fatherhood and all this entails.

  27. Hi mabel, Yes, China has a big part towards the end of the A/C`s rule. By then the A/C will have the big lie,`(2 Thess 2: 10 & 11) and everyone (in the system) will believe it. The `Big lie,`- `We can change the world.`

  28. Yes, somewhat delayed till the Body of Christ come to the unity of the faith, by the Holy Spirit. And Body of Christ is NOT measured by bottoms on seats in organisation. Only God knows by our hearts if they are turned towards Him. And yes again, a 3 ringed circus to make people fearful of their future and then `Whew,` we`ve solved it, (says the fox as he leads henny penny and the other animals to his den,` if you know who and what I mean.

  34. Yes, after God deals with the Russian Federation and the others with them. And you are so right, Israel is the key as Satan wants to get rid of Israel as it is God`s intended nation that He will rule through out to the other nations, in righteousness and with justice. Satan of course wants to be the ruler.

  39. It looks China is the test-bed for behavior compliance and modification with their social justice scoring system. People must worship that system (comply with its expectations) or pay the penalty. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? When I first heard of China's social justice scoring system it struck me as a prototype of what the image of the beast could be, a code of conduct that must be followed (worshiped) or else face the consequences. The credit scoring system in America is another type of scoring system that rewards certain behaviors and penalizes others. Seems like behavior grading is everywhere these days.

  43. Great word! As we need to focus on seeking first His righteousness, provided by his blood! So, yes, "Devil, get off our land!" Right, We "believe" because we "hear," and not because of what we do! But we do, because we believe, Ephesians 2:10. Thanks

  45. Thanks Amanda, I am glad to see that you get the main thrust of the post. Much ot what you mentions in your reply is about the beginning, about my Post-It notes methodology, lol, which I used to try to discern what God has revealed to us about end times chronology. That method was helpful to me to be sure, but mind you that back in that day that I did this, there was no public Internet, and computer Bible programs were expensive, rare, slow, and not very sophisticated. Hard drives we small, slow and expensive also and in fact very few people even had personal computers yet. Operating systems most often did not even support a mouse, and copy-paste, drag and drop were not yet facts of life. While the Post-It method was functional, it was not very efficient. For these reasons, I would not recommend the Post-It note methodology for large studies like I did on eschatology. That 4 foot by 8 foot surface, took up a lot of space in our small house. For something less ambitious, it might work fine. The main advantage to is for me, was that since I was not just collecting notes and verses on end-times events, but was also trying to sort them into chronological order, it allowed me to move the notes around, as new discoveries came to light. If I were to attempt to do that project again today, I would probably do it on a computer, with a way to reorder the events as I discovered there sequences. In fact, I have considered doing that exercise, but I have so many other projects, that I have put it off, and will likely never get around to it. One thing I might do though, is to regather the verses themselves, so that others can arrange them in the order, that the revelation of sequences in the Bible demand. However, the title of this topic in my blog, is "Things Which are Needfull"! That title, points out, what the blog post is really about. Regardless of how eschatological events unfold, all of us have limited time on earth. The Great commission is not to go into all the world to convince them our our pet theological positions about disputable, secondary doctrine, it is about going into all the world to give the good news of the gospel. There is everything to be gained or lost in eternity, by understanding who Jesus is, what He did and how we can benefit eternally from yielding to His rightful place as Lord of our lives. I hoped and continue to hope that that is what people take away from this blog topic. Thank you for reading it, and for your comments.

  46. That is a good thing for me to do maybe start putting things on Post-its and going through the Bible like that. I really haven't reconciled my thoughts on this I used to think a certain way but am not sure. I like many things about your post but the things I like the most about your post is the focus on sharing the good news and being ready at all times and being grateful to God.

  47. Nice article, thank you for that. I have always been drawn to the cana wedding story for I feel there is a truth revealed there that is timeless in its scope, and immeasurable in its value. In John 5:2 Scripture tells us; His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it. And if we would just do as our Beloved Savior tells us to do - Wow. Thanks RC

  49. Hello Marilyn yes things have gotten so complex along with the business plan to keep the church solvent. In Acts there was only that brief time of what I call authentic fellowship. No body was above or below one another. Yes this journey... bumped into someone today from a church I used to go to and it really emphasises how in a different place I am. That is very kind of you to say Marilyn yes we all need friends along the way and I have and do value your friendship its helps and is helping in a long tough season.. a season where it is so not good to glance downwards eeeek
