  1. Our pastor spoke on the subjest just once in 10 years, and he mentioned clothing that draws attention to ourselves. We do have a lot of Amish people as well as German Baptists (dunkers) who also dress quaintly. But they held fast to their convictions. I have to admit that the glow and quiet kindness in the lady's face is what attracts me to her. However, women are wearing "skinny pants" now that are more than skin tight, and a lot of the older women are not attractive in them with the added pounds. Some fashions look better on pre teens. While these people are a minority, they do grab your attention. I do doubt that they are saved, but they still make me uncomfortable.. I have known people who purposely like to offend Christians. One such person who even called herself a Christian that I worked with used to beg to go to church with me. So I explained that we normally wore jeans and loose clothing like we wear to work, and don't get dressed up. So she purposely wore a dressy low cut dress that showed off ALL her tatoos and nearly everything else. She seemed disappointed that no one commented about the way she looked. At work she often would wait till I was in earshot and then speak very loudly, using filthy obscenities, so I would just keep walking. She also did that in front of parents and told them dirty jokes. When I didn't laugh but just didn't pay much attention she would ask me about it. I would matter of factly say I just didn't think it was funny. Then she would get angry. She chose to work with me for a second year. I was OK with it till she started purposely trying to make my life miserable and spread false rumors or half truths about me so that few others wanted to work with me. Those who did checked out the stories with other people first. So now when I see people dressing inappropriately I wonder why they are trying to offend us and get attenion. Then I wonder what they are trying to accomplish by it and why they are so angry. Why are they trying to cause Christians to stumble. Perhaps they are under convictioon???
  2. I had to learn to submit to my husband BEFORE he was saved as 1 Peter 3 speaks about. To me from this side it means not only to obey him, but to honor and admire him even as Sarah called Abe Lord. It is as much about line of authority as it is about a good attitude. What is my attitude toward God? I should have the same sort of respect toward my husband as I have for God even when he doesn't seem to deserve it. I learned to trust that God can lead me and speak to me through my husband even before he was saved. And when he was wrong, I tried to keep my mouth shut and pray a lot. I figured that if I got out of God's way He would deal directly with hubby without my butting in. So I did my best to keep up the quiet and gentle spirit end of the deal and get out of God's way. It took a few years of God changing me before hubby was saved. However, we serve our husbands from a position of strength and not as a doormat. We lay down our lives to them as to the Lord. After Hubby was saved God allowed me to give more imput as a help meet. But it was a step by step walk in the Spirit, and learning to say nothing when God told me to. I have encountered men that thought the Ephesians passage in question was only talking about sex. Like he was going to drag his wife off by her hair. That isn't exactly how Christ treats the church even if the Word does say she will be snatched away when He returns for her lol. But Hubby cares for me with a servent's heart. He treats me like a queen. He was actually hard to get used to after he was saved because he was so changed. I kept begging God to not take it away but give me grace to appreciate and endure such attention and affection. The change in him was dramatic.. And he is pretty much still the the new man, growing more perfect since 1974. Now I just thank and praise God for giving him to me. To be sure we both have a lot of faults. But God has given us faith to look beyond them and see each other as God sees us, through the blood of Jesus, so we focus on the good. I don't even remember the old man unless I am forced to remember as in a testamony.
  3. Ecclesiastes was written by Solomon when he was backslidden. It is in the Bible to show a man who has tried to fill his life with women, riches and parties and finds that it leaves his life empty without God. . Eccles. 8:15 says something like it and Luke 12:19 quotes it saying that is what a fool would say. He ends the book saying let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments for that is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgement, including every secret thing, whether good or evil. Eccles 12:13-14. It is one book that I have wondered why it is in the Bible. It is one book that those who are not born again can understand because it is fleshly. But it does show how low a person can go and how disillusianed they can become without God in their life. Perhaps it is there to show us what not to do.
  4. Jerry, the protestants like us get all our beliefs from the Bible. The Catholic Church started adding traditions as a basis for belief. So many times their sinful habits, such as bowing down before images, became doctrine accepted as truth. They also added traditional old wives tales as doctrine. They think that Mary was born without sin and then ascended into heaven like Jesus! When the Catholic reformers, godly monks and priests, tried to get the catholic church to repent, they were kicked out of the church as heritics. Many were martyred for believing the truth of the Bible. Catholics believe you can be saved by good works, for instance. That is why their pope recently announced that athiests can go to heaven by their good works. While the other priests corrected him for this, it is still believed by many Catholics. They also teach that we must suffer in purgatory for our sins before being worthy of going to heaven. This is also not taught in the Bible. Salvation is by grace through faith, a gift of God. I do know that there are many Catholics who believe the truth. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Whereever the Bible is preached there is a remnant of believers. Some stay in that church because they have family that remain there. Others, like kwik, leave that church to find one that preaches the truth of the Bible more correctly. Blessings, Willa
  5. Amen , floating axe. Someone told me not long ago, don't cast your pearls before the swine. There are some who just want to argue. They don't want to believe, or they do not have the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, or probably both. I know you must have mentioned this one, but when Stephen was being stoned to death in Acts 7:59: "They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said '"Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."' NASV. Since he saw Jesus standing in honor of him, I do believe he was expecting his spirit to be with Jesus in heaven. While a dying confession is accepted in courts, I doubt if butch will accept Stephen's as truth. He seems to be accustomed to some sort of formal debate that has rules, but he doesn't tell us what the rules are. Moreover he is more interested in playing the game than knowing the truth. The problem is that his real arguement is with God. And the sad thing is that he can't win. It will require him to humble himself as a little child and surrender to his intellect and arguements to his Creator. Of course, that is just my opinion.
  6. But God demonstrates His own love to us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 NKJV 1 John 1:8 If we say we HAVE no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. God gives grace if believers accidently sin also, as I injected in your tome. We no longer want to sin, but we do make mistakes. God still loves us and provides us grace to repent, confess, and continue to walk With God. He will never leave us or forsake us. He says we are liars if we say we have no sin anymore. But if we refuse to confess our sin of lying, for instance, then we may no longer be in fellowship with God and with other Christians. James 4:6 says that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. So if we humble ourselves and continue to confess our sins to God, and to those we have wronged, God will continue to give us grace. I am not sure, but you sound like you believe in some kind of a holiness doctrine. Please tell us what church you attend. Blessings. I hope the truth in what I am saying will set you free. Willa
  7. My husband laughed when he learned that his sister had converted to LDS. He said he wondered if she knew that if she was called by her husband to the third heven, she would spend eternity pregnant having spirit children. Muslim women have to cope with the idea that their husbands will spend eternity with 70 virgins. Is that what heaven would be like for their wives? Lol Or don't women go to heaven. Women in the USA have no idea what discrimination is. My friend is a nurse who spent several years in Arabia. Each sheih is a total dictator in his area. We outsiders have no rights there, and women have even less. They have complete segration for women.
  8. My cousin is an intelligent woman with a Phd. She says she had to use a computer when she worked and she refuses to use one now that she is retired. Her daughter even was in high up management for HP for 20 years or so. It drives me nuts because I don't write letters but I can email someone in minutes but I take days to write a letter. It is easy to correct mistakes in email and takes a second to send. No hunting for stamps and getting it to the mailbox. I am nortorious for losing letters before they get the stamp and get out to the box. Hubby is the same way. He uses the computer but rarely uses the internet. I was computer phobic and usually timed out before I could use one at stores to place an order. But I took a class in 1993 because I figured it would be hard to find a job without computer skills. As it was the jobs I found did not require them but I have sure enjoyed having one. I was fortunate to have professional instruct6or, a sylabus even, but he alowed us to experiment, screw up, and learn from our mistakes. He would bail us out. It became fun instead of terror. However, I can imagine that students that came from disadvantaged schools do not have computer skills. This would also be true of dropouts who do not have computers in their homes.
  9. On one hand God has created us like Himself. He is Creator and we are creative in many ways. But if we are creative as an expression of self, as is usually the case, it may not be so good. Things of self may just exult ourselves. People usually want their work to sell or to be appreciated by others or recognized, which is an ego trip as well We may want to copy a bit of the Creator's work: a landscape or the stars.. These things bring glory to God. If we try to bring glory to God I think it is commendable. But today people usuallly scorn art it if a camera can do it better. Likewise, performing in dance is often performing to have self recognized. But if it is meant to become invisible and allow God to be glorified by His creation, it might be good. If it is to express love of God, thanksgiving and praise. I am sure it can be good as long as you are somehow protraying something in Scripture, for instance, that glorifies God. Again, though, are we trying to draw attention to self or to God?
  10. Perhaps the most effective is all of the above. Parents must teach the children Christ like responses to everyday situations that occur at school and in the neighborhood. If it is not going on at home it does not model a Christian lifestyle as effectively.. Waiting till sunday is not teaching them how to put their faith into practice. (It doesn't do much good to wait till the week end to give your kid a spanking either.) Yes, I do advocate Vacation Bible School and evangelical sunday school teachers. But the fellowshìp we had in youth group was one of the things that drew me back to the church when I fell away. We could have a lot of fun and not feel guilty afterwards. When kids don't have anyone their own age at church to hang out with they will usually find a group of unbelievers. A good youth group will draw a lot of people to a church because they recognize the influence such a group has on kids. Our church also has a seperate group for genuine teenage believers. Others can come but there is better opportunity for teens to model faith in action when unbelieving kids are there because they want to be. The ones who are being forced to go so that the church will straighten their kids out are likely to be disruptive to the rest of the group. That way sunday school becomes the opportunity for the believing kids to be evangelists. Our kids also earn money to pay their way to minister in small churches vacation bible school, and do work to paint and repair struggling churches. Their culture was much different in the early church.. The young teen girls were married and the boys went to work as an apprentice to their dads from 13 to 30, as I understand. In those days the women and children were segregetated from the men. Some home churches may have been too small to do this but it was the normal practice. That is why the women were to wait and ask their husbands questions after they got home. Today when people are asking questions in church they are usually the unbelievers who are being led to the Lord by our members sitting in the pews.
  11. Our dogs have microchips but not us.
  12. For about 10 years my Christian life was a roller coaster. I was either high on Jesus and full of rejoicing or down in the valley of bewilderment. Then I got tired of it and asked God to leave me somewhere in between. I guess I became more dependant on God's promises and more confident of His love, and i don't remember when or how it all came about. Life in Christ is somewhat more constant now and the trials are different. Some of my worst trials have been the false accusations from believers I loved, and at work, as well. But through them I became better acquainted with the sufferings of Christ. Now I have come to accept that the Christian life has a lot to do with suffering in one way or another. When Paul was called, Jesus told him of the things he must suffer for His sake. Acts 9:16 We often forget to warn new believers that God does not say there will be no trials; only that He will walk with us through them. Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him that we may also be glorified together." There is always suffering. It is a part of life. But we are to glorify Christ in our suffering. I have frequently told the Lord That if He REALLY wants to be glorified He might choose another way because I don't endure pain well at all. LOL Recently I had good reason to believe I would not be long on this earth for medical reasons. I was so excited to be with the Lord yet not wanting to leave my hubby who needs as much help as I do and who is also in pain with arthritis. We help each other and support each other (as well as friends and family) with prayer. I was asking God to provide someone else to care for him after I was gone.. While I dreaded the suffering I would have to go through, I knew I would have to keep my eyes on the goal and not look back to endure what God was calling me to endure. Well, it was a false alarm. I had misunderstood the results of the the tests. While I still must go through more tests, I am somewhat relieved, especially for hubby's sake, and somewhat disappointed for my own sake. My desire to be in heaven has become very strong. I Have been living Philippeans 1:21-24. For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if i live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you."NKJV "For I know whom I have believed And am persuaded that He is able To keep that which I have committed To Him, against that day." 2 Timothy 1:12. Life with Christ is an adventure. There are surprises around every corner. And there are blessings there, too. And death in Christ is the greatest adventure and blessing of all. Now, I am not into escapism or asking God to get me out of the circumstances like I was when I was first walking with God. If I may quote the Gaithers: "Because He lives, I can face tomarrow, Because He lives, all fear is gone, Because I know Who holds the future My life is worth the livin' just because He lives." He has never let me down. We are secure in His loving care. Willa
  13. I see Father God as unapproachable light sometimes. Sometimes I see Him as Daddy God on whose lap I can sit like a little child. He is overwhelming in His love and righteousness. I see Jesus as a form, light localized in a type of body that can move or walk among us. I see His eyes full of kindness and can see Him touching those in great need. He is full of great gentleness and mercy toward us but is extremely protective on our behalf.. I see the Holy Spirit as being omnipresent in the church. The light that brightens every Christian life. Non of them have distinct features. They have personalities and qualities. I am able to come boldly unto the throne of grace, knowing that each of us is fully accepted and beloved by God.

    No more

Many people here in the USA don't think others have been persecuted for their faith, especially men. Women married to unbelievers are sometime beaten for being Christians and wanting to attend church. Men are more often discriminated against and sometimes given the dirty jobs that no one else wants to do. They are sometimes not promoted as well. Of course this is if they don't participate in cheating on their wives, drinking with the guys and enjoying the dirty jokes and porn at work. Often family will no longer want anything to do with you. My husband's dad threatened to disinherit him. Personally life is not worth living without God in it, and no one is more miserable than a back sliden Christian. To have experienced God's love and peace and then turn away from Him causes you to be full of self loathing and regret. Moreover, you have no hope and no reason to live. Those of us who have grown to depend on God in all things and grown very close to Him will consider it a "no brainer". I have heard that God gives you the strength to do His will when the time comes and not before. So pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to enable you to glorifiy Him in all your life now so it won't be a hard decision should the time come.
  15. God chose by foreknowledge. 1 Peter 1:1-2, 20, Ephesians 1:4-5, Romans 8:29, 11:2. He is outside of time and saw in the beginning what is now occuring. He sees the end from the beginning as it occurrs in the present. No I don't know exactly what I am talking about either. But I believe God sees things as they are happening and saw it all at creation. Everyone is predestined to hell. He chooses those who are not resisting His free grace gifts of faith that He offers to all. Those whom He can see dig in their heels, and who do not receive His call or His gift of faith, go to hell by default. John 3:18
  16. The first chapter I highlighted in my Bible when I read the New Testament was 1 Corinthians 13. Loving the unlovable and forgiving the unforgivable are the first lessons that God began teaching me, and I don't think we will completely grasp the heights and depths of God's love till we see Him face to face. But as He transforms us into His image, these are the qualities that perhaps set us apart. He also makes us into servents, people who express love in tangible ways such as with their words of encouragement and helping others. We are willing not just to wash feet in a church service, but to clean a bathroom, help to remodel a house gratis, give their new clothes to the poor, visit the dying, minister to those in prison, or adopt orphans. True Christians don't broadcast their good deeds from the rooftops. They do them often in secret. The media has done much to melign Christians. They always put crosses on the bad guys, the gangsters, those in street gangs and those in evil motor cycle gangs. They make movies about the pastors that fall or who were never genuine Christians to begin with, and all the notoriety is also about them. All of us have known pastors who have sinned dreadfully but screamed from the pulpit about the sins of others. They do need our prayers, but I don't believe that they fill the requirements of an elder or should remain in leadership. Nor should we be in leadership if we are bad examples. We are all very human and prone to sin (1 Cor. 10:12), and we all nead each others prayers to stay strong in the lord and in the power of His might. We also need to give room to allow others to grow. It is not our place to be "fruit inspectors". It is especially easy for new Christians to criticise others for not growing in the area they have been growing in and not see the other areas that others have grown in. So often I will finally learn something that another believer learned when they were first saved. We don't grow uniformly as Christians but each is unique. So it is difficult to say "this is what a Christian should do or look like." But we should all change to have more Christ like attitudes in some way and to some degree, even if it just is to be more aware of the sin in our lives. The people who think they have arrived and are now perfect are like the fable of The Emporer's New Clothes. Con men had sold him an invisible suit so he was gullible and appeared in public naked. Everyone else can see our nakedness, especially God. Our sins are always visible to others. Rev. 3:17-19.
  17. Read Romans 5:9 Much more so, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 1 Thess 1:10 --and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to Come 1 Thess 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Col. 3:4 When Christ Who is our life appears, then you will appear with Him in glory. Rev. 3:10 because you have kept My command to perservere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shAll come upon the whole world. Col 3:6 because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, John 3:36 He who believes on the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God abides on him. It is clear that the wrath of God is intended for unbelievers; and that God rescues the believers from the wrath. We still must endure trials and hardships, but believers will not go through the part of the tribulation known as the wrath of God. It seems highly improbable that Christ in us and the Holy Spirit Who resides in us would be destined for wrath. The church of Philadelphia apparantly will also be delivered from all of the tribulation period--the trial which is coming upon the whole earth. Perhaps some of us will also not have to endure the tribulation; but believers will not endure the wrath. Some may be saved during the tribulation, believing the witnesses who will be resurrected after preaching in the streets of Jeruselem. Many will believe when they realize that the antichrist demands that all worship him. Some will be protected going through the tribulation and be saved in that way. They will populate the earth during the millinium. But only unbelievers will go through the wrath of God. 1 Thess. 3:13 speaks of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. So we must have been taken or snatched away from the earth to be able to return with Him on white horses. Rev. 19:14 Rev. 19:17-21 speaks of all the armies of the antichrist being killed by the sword of His mouth, and the beast and the false prophet were sent to the lake of fire and brimstone. Satan is then cast into the bottomless pit and bound for 1000 years. The saints were given thrones and judgement was committed to them. The 144,000 who were beheaded lived and reigned with Christ for 1000 years. This is the first resurrection. We are told that we will judge the angels. Perhaps we will do that at that time. At the end of the 1000 years all the rest of the dead are resurrected, and all whose names are not written in the Lambs Book of Life will be judged according to their works. Then death and Hades are cast into the lake of fire and all whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Rev. 21 concerns the new heavens and new earth. We are to comfort one another with the fact that believers in whom Christ lives will not have to endure the wrath of God, and exhort or edify one another with this knowledge. 1Thess. 5:11. We are also to encourage one another to be faithful to attend church so our love will not grow cold. Heb. 10:25. I do not think of this as a legalistic demand but as an encouragement to do so, that we may remain strong in faith.
  18. The Beatles song Let it Be is so beautiful. We should substitue Holy Spirit for Mother Mary and sing it that way.
  19. I enjoyed and was also enriched by celebrating a Christian seder. I wish we could do it every year and celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread as well, and the feast of First Fruits. It would be cool to give them their rightful names. It would also remind us that we serve a Jewish Savior. To be true, we don't have to. But it is something I would love to do just to get in touch with our Savior's roots. It is a little like visiting the Holy Land to walk where Jesus walked. Understanding the feasts gives us better understanding of the Bible. It would be a good study. But It would be better if held as optional services. Wrapping my tongue around Hebrew words was not easy, though. I would prefer English.
  20. Genesis 4:21 KJV NASV translates as flute. Strong H5689 states a reed instrument , an organ. . My bible dictionary said a primitive organ is a bagpipe. It is a reed instrument whereas a flute is not. It is an interesting idea, at any rate. I love to think of them using bagpipes in ancient Israel. They were known in Greece in 300 BC. There is nothing that says they weren't used before then among the ancient peoples.
  21. In 1 Cor. 13 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part but then I shall know just as I am known. NKJV So dark sayings are probably those that we don't fully understand, such as the Trinity. Or for the Psalmist, he is singing about Jesus' redemption for us, giving His life which is beyond price, and that His body would not see decay. He did not fully understand this at the time but he put this prophecy into song. Psm 49:2-9 The harp was in fact an ancient stringed instrument. There are paintings of arched harps in Egypt from 3000 BC. m (I looked up ancient stringed instruments on the web.) However, the organ mentioned in Genesis is thought to be a bagpipe! That always gives me a chuckle. Y
  22. I agree that the New Testament is most important. I can be a Christian with just the New Testament and having never read the Old Testament. But I can't be a Christian with just the Old Testament and never having read or heard about the New Testament and Jesus. But since Jesus was not only Jewish, He is the Messiah Who was promised to the Jews, we have a much better understanding when we know the signifiance of His coming to the Jews. When we understand the story of the Passover and of Abraham being asked to sacrifice his son on Golgotha, we understand how Jesus came to fulfill the old testament and complete it.
  23. consider this bible evidence , just one example of your deception by your 'pastor' because he too was decieved :- Jonah 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. now count the NIGHTS between Friday and Sunday ... there are TWO, not THREE I believe it proves the corruption of creedal religion in your country, as indeed worldwide -Rev 13:3-4 I believe 'Easter' is NEVER mentioned in the original scriptures and is a PAGAN time nothing to do with the death of Jesus Christ at Passover ... I believe there the lie is PROVEN for you from scripture , Satan runs the mass churches of Christianity with lies ... ALL of them I believe Easter replaces Passover so men pollute Jesus' chosen memorial.... Satan has changed all holy days to unholy ones in his fake creed for sinners ... I believe Jesus said all who are his are to be taught by the holy spirit, NOT taught creeds by MEN... Some people just repeat what their leader has told them. I don't. My church is not a creedal church. We do not celebrate a mass. I call Passover Easter because it is easier to communicate. We celebrate the day of Resurrection during First Fruits. You are making assumptions not based on knowledge. We are to let no man judge us concerning what days we worship. Col, 2: 16 Romans 14:4-6 Our church believes in worshipping every day. My church only teaches the Bible while reading from the Bible. I responded to you kindly and desiring to believe the best of you. You need to do the same, instead of making wild accusations. Satan is the accuser of the brethern. You, in fact, do not even know what church I attend let alone what my pastor teaches or believes. I do not just repeat what he says. Is that what you do? Are you just repeating what some leader has told you? One of the things that cults do is they teach that they are the only ones that are right, that everyone else is wrong, and that they are the only ones going to heaven. Are you in a cult? The things you are saying sound a lot like the beliefs and accusations of a cult. That is why I am asking. Please stop making wild accusations. Rev.12:10 It serves no good purpose. It is just showing your ignorance. Nothing of what you accuse my church of teaching is true. It is all lies. My Pastor and I are both taught by the Holy Spirit. Your lies and your accusations are not from the Holy Spirit. That is why you should question if the people who taught you these things are truly from God. John 8:44
  24. Prednisone togther with a diet that started with 3 days of high fuctose corn syrup put me into diabetes. I gained a lot of weight. The diet was the LA Weight Loss Diet, and I cannot recommend it. That was 20 years ago and I still struggle, in spite of counting calories and seeing a Registered Dietition concerning my diet. In addition, scientists have discovered that weight gain can be genetic, based on the study of twins separated at birth and their diets. Some studies have also shown that some people gain weight as a response to stress, even when on a strict or unchanged diet. It supposedly is a reaction to protect from starvation under extreme conditions. Our society has been extremely judgemental, condemning obese people for gluttony. This may be true in some cases, but few go beneath the outward appearance and see the heart. Some do have psychological reasons, some environmental, some medical, but most obese people have little idea how they got that way and only feel the judgement and scorn of others. This creates a psychological problem if there were none before.
  25. I have to agree with Nebula. Not that I disagree with appy. But we put our trust in the character of God. And faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So I would start with a list of God's attributes. Knowing how big and loving our God is is the basis. God IS love. He demonstrated His love for us in while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He is faithful. Nothing depends on us. It all depends on God. When we keep ourselves from the love of money, He will never ever let us down or leave us without support. Reread the last of Romans 8 and the first chapter of Ephesians. We have Christ living in us and we are in Him. Heavenly riches are eternal. They are worth much more than earthly riches. We have all that Christ has because He is in us. But God's perfect love casts out all fear. We are wrapped in the arms of God. How could we be more secure? My RX: study the attributes of God Study who we are in Christ Study God's love And, of course, pray for them. Suddenly it doesn't matter what men think or what might happen in the future. The future has its own problems and we know God will take care of us. We are secure in the warmth of His love.
