That was interesting tim. The trouble starts when we call man`s organization `the Church.` It is a public meeting organized by man. It can be helpful, but NEVER `the Church.` That title is exclusive for the Body of Christ, `And He (God the Father) put all things under His (Jesus`) feet and gave Him to be Head over all things to the Church which is His Body the fullness of Him who fills all in all. `(Eph. 1: 22 & 23) May we be more careful with our words and be scriptural and not continue to support and uphold an unscriptural teaching. Let us encourage each other to meet with the 2`s and 3`s and really get to know others in the Body, their needs, their gifts and praise the Lord together without always having an organization organize us.

Hi Ad Hoc, Some good points there regarding people not making a difference between Israel and the Church/Body. However, (as usual) I do have a few points - 1. Yes, Jesus, when manifest as a man on earth did not know when He would come for the Body. However, now that He is at the right hand of the Father He is fully in the Godhead and knows all things, even when He will come for the Body. 2. Paul does tell the early believers and us when the Lord will come for His Body. `...till we all come to the unity of the Faith, and the knowledge of the Son of Man, to a perfect (mature) man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.` (Eph. 4: 13) And the Lord being made Head of His Body knows full well what He is doing bringing it to completion. 3. We don`t know the date, however we will see it coming. `...exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.` (Heb. 10: 25) And that `Day` is the Day of the Lord (period of time). The prophet Joel (2: 1 & 2) tells us that when the great northern army and others are brought down to Israel`s mountains to be judged then that is when we go as we are not in that `Day.` (1 Thess. 5: 2 - 4)

I think we as humans look too much for the `feelings.` God is always there and it is for us to appreciate His faithfulness, His mercy and grace. As we regularly give Him thanks and praise then we are feeding our spirit. Appreciate the everyday blessings we have and not constantly looking to God to keep proving Himself to us. God will by His Holy Spirit often highlight a word or action that needs to be addressed. This correction is to make us more like Christ and not our selfish past.

Hi TM, I agree we don`t have to go to man`s public meetings, however we do need to come together with other believers so we can encourage one another, share, read God`s word, pray etc.

I hope to not get this off topic, but VA you mentioned `the kingdom and the Body of Christ,` what do you see as the difference, if any?

And as we grow we then `eat meat.` That then is the teachings that God has enabled people of God to bring together across the word. The teachings/doctrines of Salvation, Sanctification, ....eschatology etc. And because we are towards the coming together of the Body, (rapture) then the teaching of God`s purpose for us (& Israel and the Nations) is being hotly discussed. `For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.` (Heb. 5: 13 & 14)

Hi Va, I have thought on this before and here is what I think. When we eat food we chew and then our bodies digest the food for the whole body. Then when we read God`s word and meditate upon it (chewing) the Holy Spirit takes it, (truth of Christ) and works in our life to make us more like Christ. The key is to meditate upon what we have read and let it digest into our spirits. Because it is `life,` (eternal life) it has an operating effect in our lives that changes us by the Holy Spirit. So, knowing that we need to `eat/meditate/` carefully upon the Lord - what He is, what He says and what He does.

Good points, though 5) I really wouldn`t agree with. Having taught children at school I know they take everything literally and it takes a while for them to understand parables, meanings, symbols types etc. I would also say - We need to realize that God`s word is about Jesus, His character and His purposes for - Israel and the Nations and the Body of Christ. If we get those wrong we tend to read God`s word as all about us. It is for us to read and learn of Him, but not all about us.

Morning Alive, Now I believe you were looking at the structures that man has put in place and NOT the Body of Christ. Jesus the Head of the Body said by His Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul - `now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.` (1 Cor. 12: 18) `...till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect (mature) man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ...` (Eph. 4: 13) This is all done by the Head of the Body through His Holy Spirit - His work, His way, His accomplishment.

Hi Ad Hoc, There is no Body of Christ when the Lord separates the `sheep from the goats.` The Body of Christ has been gathered, taken to the Lord`s own throne in the highest to be part of the Lord`s visible inauguration as sovereign overall God`s great kingdom. The `sheep and goats` separation is as you say the nations. (Remember we, the Body of Christ are called OUT of the nations) And yes, as to how people will treat the Israelis. Those that did look after them will go into the millennial kingdom and eventually into eternal life.

Hi Dennis, The ID by itself is not bad but connected to the CBDC (no cash) it will then be controlled as to how we can spend our money. Finally, it will be linked to allegiance (worship) of the A/C. And of course we are not there for that.
