  1. The Jesuits are most definitely a secret society, and part of the Catholic Church. The Jesuit are an anti Christ society, and if some people still naively consider them to be Christians, then they-the Jesuits- have managed well to keep their true identity secret. But not secret for many who throughout the centuries who understood their deceitful tactics. To get a lot of historical information and quotes from a variety of sources -people- along the centuries who had to deal with Jesuits, you can- you tube- the following: Vatican Secrets The Jesuits
  2. The sad thing is that the more you find out about life and people and investigate the origin and history of politics and religion, and traditions, the more you can see for yourselves the deception and evil nature of man . Man without being transformed by Gods Mercy and Grace can be very, very vile. The Catholic religion as is,in the way the church is set up, is not really christian . Like a pyramid scheme, the deceit is at the top and it keeps a lot of its deceit -secret- from the ones at the bottom of the pyramid, ie, the average-more innocent- people. I believe the people who are more innocent and who truly have an innocent love for Christ Jesus and His Plan of Mercy and Grace, are truly saved, but the deception of the RCC is great. a person can only find that out for themselves be investigating for themselves the hitory of the RCC, and in which years the add-ons were put into place. Some things to consider in the history making of the add-ons of the Catholic church. even going as far back as… In 836 AD The council of Aix-la-Chapelle in France openly admitted That abortions and infanticide were epidemic in convent and monasteries to cover up the sexual activities of the clergy At the time a bishop St. Ulrich argued from the bible that the only way to purify the church from these excesses was to allow priest to marry. But that was not the trend. In 1074 Pope Gregory the seventh said that anyone who wished to be ordained must first pledge to be celibate. (there is a difference between celibacy and chastity BTW, and priest took advantage of this) In 1095 Pope Urban II had the wives of priest sold into slavery and had their children thrown out into the streets to fend for themselves. Finally in 1123 the first lateren council decreed that all clerical marriages where invalid. But in spite of this, even up to the 15th century 50% of all the priests were still married just it was kept undercover. Ultimately in 1545-1563 the counsel of Trent decreed that celibacy and virginity were morally superior to the married state. This was the final victory of Augustinian theology. Error breeds error. There are many errors within Roman-ism. For example, in around the years 375 AD, was the idea of praying to angels and dead saints. 593 AD, was the doctrine of purgatory.Side note:Trying to answer a serious problem, no one in Catholicism had any assurance of salvation, and needed a fictitious place where souls could go that where not worthy of heaven! They also made it that people of the dead could pay for masses for the dead to help them go to heaven and also faster. Roman-ism is very much a works based religion. Your saved by all the good stuff that you do. Because no man can do all the good works to a fault, the came up with this idea for this temporal punishment due to sin: Purgatory Because the church always taught the sacrament of penitence, that you go to this priest and confess your sins to him and that he grants you absolution, but also with that comes having to do penance. The catholic church place repentance and penance together. Penance means mortification of the flesh. The ideas is even though you confessed your sins with great repentance, you still have to do penance (So for them Salvation is not such a FREE Gift From God, it must by paid for by our own works of penance. In the older times you either would pour ashes over you head, or fast or even nuns were taught to self fl adulate (wip themselves with a flagelem ) before getting dressed and beginning their day as a way of mortifying the flesh. Their exists a Catholic order called Opus Day ( became a bit of an infamous name because of the davinci code) however that even till this day, they wear barb wire under theri clothe around the waist or around thighs, all this is to mortifying their flesh. So with the RCC, you can say so many rosaries and mortify your flesh, but you never know when its enough. So anything not covered in this life will have to get covered in the next life, so even popes die without the assurance of salvation, so because their was no assurance of salvation in Catholicism,,thus the Vatican had to come up with a fictitious place where the souls could go That where not yet ready of heaven.: Purgatory The dogma further teaches that when you dies there is no more that you can do, but the people alive(surviving relatives) who knew you, it was up to them to pray for you and pay masses for you to help pay your way out of purgatory and into heaven, To pay for a low mass its $… to pay for a high mass its $… and a solem high mass was the more pricey… Then there is the reciting of prayers, some are more effectual into getting your departed loved ones sprung out of purgatory and into heaven. In 610 AD the idea of having the title of Pope. The year 709 AD the idea that if you approach the Pope you had to kiss his feet. (now where is that in the bible?) In 750, the idea of the Pope is having temporal power. In 788, the worshiping and images of saints. In 8950 the mass viewed as an unbloodied sacrifice 1090 praying the rosary (introduces by StPaul the hermit) 1100 the use of the confessional “box” The beginning of the Inquisition of heretics began in 1184 began with the council of Rome The selling of indulgences is the purchases of the forgiveness of sins began in 1190 This also is called The Enchiridion Of Indulgences -Lists dozens of prayers you can say for deceased relatives: -Partial indulgences -Plenary Indulgences ***This became a HUGE source of revenue in the middle ages -The rich were even allowed to pay for sins in advance. (*** foot note: Romans 3:10 says none are righteous, not even one. Isaiah ch 64: 6 says we are all as an unclean thing, all our righteousness are as the likes of filthy rags…) So according to the bible, no human being has enough merit to get to heaven However in Catholicism it says that the Pope in him alone has the key to unlock this bank account of stored merit in heaven and to dispense it through indulgences. There exist a book with which you can purchase that has a list of prayers to use for indulgences to get your loved ones out of purgatory.. The doctrine of transubstantiation 1215 that the bread and wine literally become the body and blood of Christ Jesus The practice of adoring the host(wafer) 1220 Laity forbidden to read the bible 1229 by the counsel of Valencia decreed. The scapular the little piece of wool cloth to be worn around your neck that was a promise given by the virgin Mary to St Simon Stock in 1287 That anyone who wore this scapular and who did certain prayers everyday that when they died they would go strait to heaven. In 1414 The church forbade the Laity form drinking from the communion cup. In 1439 Purgatory was formally declared a formal dogma of the church In 1540 the Jesuit order was started by Ignatius Loyola witch was built on hermit-ism and principals of magik Council of Trent in 1545 decreed that tradition was of equal authority to Bible scripture In 1834 the church declares by Pius the IX, the immaculate conception of Mary (that she like Jesus was born without sin in her by an action of God by time cranking the merits of Calvary back to the time of Mary's conception.) In 1870,The same Pope Pius IX declares Popes to be infallible In 1950 Pope XII decrees the dogma of the assumption of Mary to have been assumed into heaven . That is that when she dieds she went strait up to heaven -was ruptured- meaning her body at the time of her death also went to heaven . So many of these New creeds and dogmas were instated hundreds of years after the Bible. Anyways…. why somebody would choose to leave their Bible believing faith and go towards something so far ways from what the bible truly says goes beyond my frame of understanding. 3. Hi Existential mabel,I think it could be a little of both, but everyone who think they may have some "anxiety issues" may react differently but for me, i think it could be a little bit of both. also the spring light summer warmth and autumn harvest and mild breeze is over and winter cold and darkness is at the door. ***In every season there is a time of adjustment.*** we also have our lives to contend with, the decision makings in everyday concerns: general health, family, friends, financial,car/ house /living concerns/ Weather concerns/world news concerns. When a lot of responsibilities and deadlines are in the forefront, it can play on the mind and bring nervousness and feelings of being overwhelmed. Yes as MissMuffet mentioned, anxiety is a form of "fear/worry". And we are told in the bible to give everything always to God in prayer and trust Him, to see us through. And yes this does help when we apply these spiritual tools to our concerns and learn to *** trust in God*** to help us deal with them. But there are cycles to life and bio rhythms in our body that have their natural ups and down cycles. For some it may be more intense than for others, all depending also on many factors including personality, genetics, personal history of trauma. I don't think its just one thing that can make a person feel anxious. I think its a combination of things. but at the same time, I believe we can find Godly tools, better nutrition, better exercise, to better cope and overcome these feelings. Lets also remember its November...everything is getting colder, darker sooner. Over the years I have come to see that I seem to be affected by SAD-seasonal effective disorder. It comes in around mid to late October and stays until the end of march. Also the cold does not help. So I try to take more vitamins in the winter ( just started again yesterday): vitamin C, B complex, vitamin D3, magnesium, zinc, CQ10, This week was particularly trying and today I woke up today feeling really blah. By mid afternoon, my pep came back. Funny in one day I can feel so hopelessly down and then the very same day, hours later, I can feel great again like i can handle everything no problem. This past week as been a bit of a struggle just to get my things together. Over the years there has been a lot of healing and I have gathered around some helpful tools to overcome when feeling like I am spiraling into a decline and I try to apply them ( focusing on prayer and holy scripture and coping tools of being objective to a concern rather than internalizing it helps a lot.), but part of me has a side that-cyclically- just wants to stubbornly close myself off-shut down- from everything and give up for a while (if not altogether-tee-he-). But my responsibilities, especially my furry and featherly ones keep me moving,(and that's part of why I have them too) but sometimes even so, I can feel overwhelmed, when feeling I am in a declining cycle. When this happens I also take things a little more easy if I am permitted to ie, obligations not calling me into absolute action. When feeling this way, I do put off what I feel is too much for my psyche to handle and do the basics, eventually I come around again . So yea, about anxiety, with the SAD for me I can feel " more "nervous" at a particular time of the day. This is when i want to go into the chocolates and comfort foods. Right now I am trying to avoid carbs and sugar, to see if that makes a difference, also I am forcing myself to do a little bit of exerciser everyday to also see if that helps to make a difference. The thing I think is paramount to coping and healing is to not give up looking to find solutions and sharing them with others. As they say a problem shared is a problems half-ed. The load seem a little lessened...
  4. Yes I believe so, if they truly believe that Christ died on the cross to redeem us of our sins and was raised from the grave and is alive and seated on the right hand of our Father God. Only God knows for sure the hearts of every person.Catholic or non Catholic. Certainly Catholics are taught about Christ Jesus and why He came and died for us. The Catholics do believe the basics of redemption through the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, just the ad-ons are the problem, but those come from the added-on twisting add-on from the higher ups hierarchy of the church and not from the message of who Christ is that is correctly taught despite the add-ons. The confusion comes along if the people in the congregation begin to embrace Mary or the saints more so than Christ Jesus.
  5. Hi Samantha 86; Thanks for sharing your heart and your true thoughts. You are not alone, with having these thoughts, with having these life struggles. Many here on this worthy site also are coping with different MH problems, from bi-polar, to depression, to schizophrenia, to anxiety , to autism, to personality disorder etc. but not everyone who has these will speak up about them in the open, so thank you for being an open voice, because you definitely are not alone with the concerns that you have expressed. With that said, like many who have already responded is that we have to be ourselves and find what we can do with what God has given us and what life has throw on us. For sure this life places a lot of expectations on people to be something. The worst thing is to try and be something you are not. Many times, that comes from not knowing who you are to begin with. And people who have suffered early life trauma to the extent that it broke or split them quite deeply from within, particularly have a hard time discovering who they are. and until Gods life solution coping tools are found, life is not easy to cope with, and can seem hopeless. The dynamics of a dysfunctional family can very much be part of this confusion along with living in a toxic environment. If possible renouncing oneself from toxic environments can help, but you know even prisoners in prison ( where they have no place to go) have found ways to cope with their life through finding Gods love through Christ Jesus and His Word. As we grow into adulthood, that is when we can either continue trying to live a lie from early trauma conditioning or we can decide that we want to wake up and find our true selves. Trauma hypnotizes us to the world standards, it puts us to sleep, from this, we can become quite lost. God wants us to have life and life abundant. Gods wants to awaken us from the sleep of satans rule over us. Jesus the Good Shepherd John 10:10 Christ Jesus said: 9I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness. 11I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.… Waking up to God"s Christ consciousness is a process that we need Gods help and His plan of Mercy and grace us to find it again. For sure, that in Christ Jesus, you are the child of God He always intended for you to be. The moment you decide to turn your sins over to God and become willing to trust and follow Him, you begin the process of waking up to your true self. If you don't know what you were intended to be, now is a good time to get closer to God and His Word. God through His Holy Spirit will guide and show you how to be you and learn to be you from what God has given you to begin with. Please don't feel alone, I too for a long time did not know where i belonged, I did not know the real me, I lived trying to fit in, trying to be what i was not, and that is the worst thing you can do. Finally seeking God and keeping up pursuing God, has helped me to discover who i am and who i am through Him. A lot has to do with not paying so much attention to this world system and focusing more on what Gods Word says and finding ways that you can live your life peacefully through the ways of Christ Jesus. Slowly aligning yourself to Gods Word and less and less to the worlds standards. God through His only begotten Son Christ Jesus will show you who you truly are: the good, the bad and the ugly. The Holy Spirit of God will help you resolve your inner issues and struggles, provided that you seek to have daily relationship with Him, just talking to Him, asking Him, the Holy Spirit of God to show you the way and reading His word. I promise you that He will show you the way, He will give you peace, He will show you the things that you need to let go of so to get better, and allow the real you to come forth. He will bring to you understanding and His peace along with it. Many times its us, through anger, fear, pride, impetuousness, stubbornness, rebelliousness, that closes ourself off from God, and by doing this we close of His ability to help us.But the more we open ourselves to God and begin placing our trust in Him, and become willing to let go of certain behaviors of this world that we may have been conditioned in, the more He can work in us, and in our hearts and transform us step by step into the child of God we were always intended to be. The child of God is within your soul, it has nothing to do with any bodily handicap we may have, it has to do with what is in our hearts and by God's Christ consciousness we live by. This world lives by antichrist consciousness, its purpose is to steal, kill, destroy, destroy the God given soul, the God given Christ consciousness. Every man/woman has been given a measure of faith, what we do with it determines our final outcome. satan tries to steal away that faith, that God given innocence, Christ consciousness. God through His Word and plan of Mercy & Grace comes to restore it. Without faith=faithfulness to God, it is impossible to please Him or find your true self in Him, and find back your God given consciousness=Christ Consciousness that brings to your mind and heart what is right and what is wrong. Hebrews 11:6 : Hebrews 11:6 This relationship with God for it to be working needs to be in symbiosis= mutual If God has given you or allowed handicaps in your life, they are there for you to learn not only to live with them but to overcome them, and to live with them as best you can with Gods help always and also overcome them with Gods help always. Romans 8:28 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. The struggle of life will continue one way or another, because that is part of life. Part of life is to overcome it and every new challenge that this life in this world presents us with. satan rules this world and is the great deceiver. Ultimately satan wants us to give up on Gods plan of Mercy and Grace. Never GIVE UP satan is the great oil snake salesman, he knows you and your weaknesses and will always come to tempt you through the mind. By trying to instill thoughts into your head, and these thoughts if you give them to much importance like a virus they multiply and can eventually corrupt fully your soul by driving out Gods Christ consciousness that can become with and through satans full corruption, a seared consciousness, incapable of discerning anymore right from wrong, what is moral and what is not. Sin confuses and corrupts Gods Truth and Gods morality But amazingly so, God through his plan of Mercy and Grace is the Great Retriever and Savior of lost souls that seek His help. God can do what man may have already given up on. Christ Jesus said: with man is is not possible but with God ALL THINGS ARE possible. -found in God's Word in Holy Scripture:- Luke 18:27, Mark 10:2, Matthew 19:26 26 ***Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”*** Luke 11:9, Matthew 7:7 7 Christ Jesus said: ***Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.*** Keep knocking on Gods door and He will open and respond back to you and help you. God comes to reach you through your heart. There is a difference between satan trying to reach you through your mind and God trying to reach you through your heart. By God being able by you being willing to trust in Him, He can transform your heart, heal it and also transform and renew your mind to become more and more wholesome. Gods promises to all who seek Him: 2 Timothy 1:7 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Philippians 4:8King 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Matthew 7:7 Christ Jesus said: 7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.… Deuteronomy 31:6 6"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you." Hebrews 13 5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, Gen. 28:15; Deut. 31:6, 8; Josh. 1:5“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6So we may boldly say: Ps. 27:1; 118:6“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” In Christ we become: Partakers of the Divine Nature 2 Peter 1:6 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. virtue that is not tested is not virtue. In life we are always given tests of faith. How we react to every test of faith determines if we have learnt the lesson or not. Learning to cope better with any life disability is learning to overcome our impediments, thus we improve. We may have for the rest of our life to live with certain disabilities, but what makes us grow is how we learn to find new ways within ourselves in coping with these disabilities in a positive way. Well what is so positive ? Well God is, He restores our soul and refreshes us continually with His living waters now living in us. The Love of God forgives, heals and saves We are also called to be His children and give Him honor and thanks and also learn through Him to forgive. Mathew ch6:14 14(Matt. 7:2); Mark 11:25; (Eph. 4:32; Col. 3:13)“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But Matt. 18:35; James 2:13if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
  6. Depending when I am eating bread again., the way i cut my sandwich depends on the type of bread and sandwich that i am making. Some sandwiches looks nicer cut diagonally and some look nicer cut strait down the middle.
  7. Yes I believe the bible is a learning book that shows us in life historical stories what is right and what is wrong, where man goes right and where man goes wrong by his own actions and decisions especially when not looking to God for Guidance and also when looking to God for guidance. The problem with so much violence in movies and tv and the media, is that, it does not give a very moral perspective like the bible does, to finally choose right from wrong, it just promotes violent images, stories lines without much of a positive moral to the story line or image. I hear people say that violence does not beget violence, but i see the contrary, the more violence that is shown in movies and tv, media the more we see in the actions of everyday world. Somebody has to put a stop it. It can be done just people seem to have given up hope and seem to be resigned in a fate that looks quite bleak. Yes God and His Word are the final outcome, but we who are here can still try to make a difference by leading by example. who we elect, who we vote for , who we promote and who we protest, how we ourselves live our lives. All that can make a difference. Doing nothing and just resigning oneself to accepting wrong things is not what i think God expects from His children. We are to be shinning lights, shining in His ways, in His truth and making a difference in whatever christian capacity we can.

There is not ONE whit of proof of these things. I hate seeing this stuff on a Christian board because it can lead new Christians in the wrong direction. ;I asked one person why they believed this stuff to be true. The answer? 'I saw it on YouTube'.
  9. Weather we choose to observe Saturday or Sunday as the Lords day, as we see it being the last day of the week to give thanks to the lord and rest also on that day in accordance to gods ten commandments to us. The danger with the SDA church is that they follow a false religion based on the teaching of their prophetess: Ellen Gould White I have placed in the video section a clear explanation of her false teachings. For this alone we should not be endorsing the SDA on any level but only the false misleading religion that it is. For born again Christians, the Law of God should be circumcised in our hearts (as the gospels say) by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God. the Holy Spirit of god is the one who chastises us and correct us through Gods LAWs. Our conscience becomes godly conscience knowing right and wrong through Gods Laws working in our hearts through the empowering of the Holy Spirit of God living and working in our hearts, having circumcised them and made His home in our hearts once we ask God for forgiveness of our sins and became willing to turn away from sin and the ways of the world and follow God through by faith=faithfulness believing on His only begotten son Christ Jesus. The Fulfillment of the Law Matthew 5:17 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. 17Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.… Alive in Christ Colossians 2:11 And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11In Him you were also circumcised in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ and not by human hands. 12And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.… Revelation 3:19 8I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, white garments so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness not exposed, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19Those I love, I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be earnest and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.… Hebrews 12:6 5And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. 6For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?… John 16:8 Christ Jesus said: 7But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me;…
  10. New age is nothing but old occult practices, trying to revive Babylon in this contemporary age we live in. Nothing new, just a new veneered name to the same old, same old serpent and his ways. Just reading this, if you truly desire to serve the only One and True God, you need to fully extricate yourself form the occult (everything new age) including people places and things that you used to frequent and mingle with. My question to you would be, if you truly are seeking God, why are you also drawn back into the surroundings that God has spoken are not pleasing to Him? and that can steel away your soul unto eternal death/hell? Maybe you have not been frightened enough, maybe you still need to loose more in your life, to be come convinced that this occult thing is extremely destructive to your life(boy/ mind/soul). Beware that this curiosity to keep mingling with the dark side may destroy more than you where bargaining for. Those usually who dabbled in the occult and turn to God for help and salvation, do so, because they know without a doubt, that evil does exist. they have experienced it to know its real and its very dangerous and have decided very strongly with themselves that they don't want ANY part of it. They gladly do all they can to let go of the old occult ways. From what you write, if you still want to dabble with going back to people places and things, that are not serving the Lord, you truly need to question your own sincerity in wanting to turn from your old ways and seek the Lord Your God will all your heart and all your soul. If you truly seek the Lord, He will protect you, He will teach you His ways, His direction through prayer with Him and the reading of His word, but if you are playing a luke warm game, going back and mingling with your old haunts you will seek the results you put in as well. Like its been said, at this point, you are not ready to go back helping others when you yourself are needing to get better first and strengthen your health-body-soul-mind- first in the Lord God our savior Christ Jesus . Pray Gods protection over you and your household through the Blood atonement of Gods only begotten Son Christ Jesus, who shed Hid Holy Blood to redeem us from ALL evil and sickness. God will sweep clean your house and your soul from any unwelcome evil spirits as God is HOLY and NO evil can live in His Holiness. Make your self and your home holy and acceptable to Him and you will be protected and have nothing to fear. If you truly desire to seek God and seek Him alone and don't keep company with the devil and is friends. Let go and Let God work in you so you can begin to become the child of God you were always intended to be. He will also then give you insight as to where you should go and be a witness for His glory. But first things first. first you need to be loved fully for a time with the Lords love fully indwelling you and living in you. It cannot live in you when you are seeking also the dark side in whatever manner. If you go right, you can't go wrong. If you go wrong, you can't expect good results. 1John ch1 What Was Heard, Seen, and Touched 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. Fellowship with Him and One Another ***5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.*** ***6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.*** 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
  11. When you know better you do better.... And when we know better in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit of God convicts our hearts and changes our hearts to align more and more to Gods true will for us. When I was a young girl perhaps around 8 ,9 or 10, i remember already recognizing that i was a sinner and prone to sin, I remember one day after taking the Lord supers going back to my pew and praying to God, i said to Him that if i get older and stray to please forgive me for I will not know what I am doing and to forgive me through the child I am now that recognizes my sins and capacity to sin... In a way I was trying to secure with Christ my redeemer my fate with Him. However, my growing up years became more and more difficult and after the loss of my father at 13 years, I became more and more lost, more angry and more confused. But nevertheless, I kept somehow an interest with God but i also fell for the traps of the world. I was hovering for a long time between those two worlds, I was seeking truth, but i also was being led astray. I had a lot of anger and fear in me and did not understand life or have the appropriate living tools to adapt into a healthy, wholesome christian way with life. At fourteen, my mother sent me to a christian summer camp with boys and girls my age and older. In my cabin where other girls aged my age up to a 19 year old girl who shared a lot other sinful stuff I had never heard about and her experiences with alcohol and drugs. She also introduced me and the other girls in the cabin, to make-up. During that time we had church services where the pastor gave alter calls, and i went to them and gave my heart to God. But at the same time i was confused. Also I remember a boy walking me back from the church to my cabin and giving me a big disgusting wet kiss, that grossed me out. YUK yuk yuk. So there began also, the teenage years with all its trappings.... Anyway, I came back home from that camp having learnt more from the bible but also learning more from the lives of the people who were there. Because of my failures in sin, I knew i was sinning and I repented and repented so many times, giving my heart to the lord so many times but kept being brawn back to falling in sin. I went through difficult mixed up teenage years into my twenties sinning, repenting ( getting publicly baptized in a Pentecostal christian church) yet falling back into sinning trying to find my way in life but many times getting trapped by the temptations of the world. Needless to say I was very lost and confused. Its truly amazing that I survived a lot of things and am still alive today. Its really, I do believe, by Gods Mercy & Grace that i am still alive. I also know that many people prayed for me and my protection and healing and i do believe prayer for me was answered on more than one occasion. God began drawing me closer to Him and waking me up more and more in my early thirties... The process of waking up and coming to understand more and more things about life, things about Truth has been a process. It could have gone the other way, but somehow, God was there to help me out of certain strongholds. The more i sincerely drew close top God, the more He showed me what i had to give up to follow Him. It really is only through Him and reading His Word speaking to me heart, that i was willing to give up certain things of the world. God let me know that He was calling me to Him and that i now had to make a choice. and i really did want to truly be a child of God and live for Him, so slowly the Holy Spirit of God guided me to let go of certain world behaviors and philosophies. i ended up burning a lot of expensive esoterically books, getting rid of a lot of a lot of worldly music, and when i did so i felt instantly like big weights were lifted off of me... the the Holy spirit worked on my anger issues, and taught me how to practice forgiveness, and than again another weight was lifter off of me. God through the power of Gods Holy spirit working in my, in my heart, God has slowly transformed me back into the child of God He always intended for me to be. I am so very very grateful to God for His loving plan of Mercy and Grace. Without it, I would be very lost today, maybe not even alive. So with that said? What could i tell an earlier me as a warning? I don't know what i could have told a younger me, I was on many levels quite asleep on many levels. Only a loving God could work in my heart helping me through the process of waking up. I say waking up because that is what it most certainly was a waking up to reality, a waking up to Gods Truth and understanding and a further waking up more to understanding Gods Word and plan for my life as a true child of God. Somehow, God gave me a thirst to know His Word and to seek it out by reading it for myself. And for sure He placed people in my way to help guide me back to Him God is the ONE, when we keep calling upon His name to help us, He is faithful and will help us and show us the way out of sin and into His light. So if I knew the things I would be getting myself into all the while looking at that little girl-(me) I would have deep tears of sorrow in my eyes for that little girl, i would tell her how much i truly loved her and that God also loved her, and that when times would to be rough to never give up on God or life and never forget to call on His name and That our Loving God through His Son would come and help her find her way back to His loving goodness, peace, warmth and light. In a way, the little girl in me may have been the one who reminded the growing sinning girl in me to not ever forget God and to keep seeking Him no matter what. anyway that's what i did. Yes indeed, i have many regrets, and if I did have a chance to live over every life challenges, many of them I would have done differently, but the things is I did not know better . It is God who showed me better and through Him waking me up He keeps showing me better. I thank you Father Gods for Your loving patience and plan of Mercy and Grace that you so kindly bestowed onto me. So with all that I have written i conclude by saying that i would say, no matter what happens , never forget to call on the name of the Lord and He will see you through. Amen! Amen! Amen!
  12. Hi StrongGrace55, Sounds like you know the answer deep inside, just perhaps you'd like confirmation of this? Yes sometime its for everyone's well being that you distance yourself from certain people, especially if you are serious in continuing growing with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus . People (in all walks of life) can try to bring us down if we are not careful to protect ourselves from that. God through His Word teaches us how to live and to protect ourselves from the enemy or those looking to put us down so they can feel better about themselves. From the description of you friend D, he seems like a take it or leave it friendship controlling the show type guy, when better things seem to come around him, he don't seem to think twice of dropping others on the way side. And being a third wheel is never a good thing especially for the person in the third wheel position. If you are in the third wheel position, you need to get yourself out of it, because its a very unhealthy position to be stuck in. Also a very unhealthy position to get yourself into is the people pleasing one. This needs to stop if you don't want to get stepped over or taken advantage from anymore. (Read up about it, research it and learn the appropriate tools to heal yourself from being in that position). Also learn to practice forgiveness and not holding unto resentments. Only Gods Holy Spirit can truly help you find it in your heart to be able to truly do that and find HIS peace living back in you. From what you write praise God it sounds like the Holy Spirit of God is already working in you and guiding you to recognize when something is amiss. In most dysfunctional families there is always a hierarchy of bullies and then at the bottom is the family scapegoat, that's the one person all the blame is always placed on . Usually that person in the scapegoat position is the most innocent, aware and honest of the bunch, however the bully hierarchy seeks to abuse and destroy it. Unfortunately many times the scapegoat learns through the abuse to become a doormat, people pleaser through the trauma he/she was subjected to or they themselves learn to become bullies themselves. Both the bully and the people pleaser role are an unhealthy one, needing Gods Grace to work in those broken souls alike. And many times people play into both categories depending on the hierarchy in the group they find themselves in. But there is another category, the one God can help us to develop with ourselves and that is the one of not playing into either of the two other categories ie=bully or people pleaser. To recover and become healthy and free from abusive relationships, time out from the situation at hand is required. Through distance from the abuse and continuing to pursue a loving daily relationship with the Lord Christ Jesus, there are good prospects of complete recovery from an abusive hurtful past, where you finally become a whole enough person once again and are now able to quickly recognize abusive tactics and to finally be able through your true self to no longer get yourself taken -in on a position to get abused and be walked all over. Sometimes its better to be alone than be involved with the wrong crowd. Wicca and such would fall into that categories of hanging around the wrong crowd. You can pray for these people from afar just like we now are praying for them and for you to be protected from them. You don't need to get yourself further involved with abusive people or people who are not christian. Yes it is good to pray for people, even your abusers, but that can be done from a distance. and they don't even have to know about it, as it really is between you and God. Prayer can definitely change circumstances and people. But its up to God to do so and for us to trust in Him and His Word and keep the faith that all will work out for His good purpose. Amen to that, It was finished on the Cross of Calvary where Gods plan of Mercy and Grace was completed so that anyone who repents and comes to the cross of Calvary and ask forgiveness and ask Christ to be their savior, can be healed and freed for satans chains of sin and sickness that lead to death.
  13. If you look up the practice of Halloween is has its roots with darkness not light, i don't think that Christ Jesus would be promoting such a practice especially when we know what the bible has to say about witchcraft.
  14. I was just reading this thread today as i have been reading other threads, I find it quite ironic that MG and Shiloh come down quite hard on people here yet they seem to think themselves absolutely correct even at promoting Halloween. And if you think Halloween is a good christian practice then yes this thread would be correct that many people have many different views here, even with the Bible being our guide and compass to align our lives with. If you preach one thing to one person on one thread And on another thread promote something else, I don't know, to me its "crazy making".
  15. Yes , and I saw you promoting on an active thread right here on "worthy" that Halloween trick or treating is a harmless and good thing to practice .
  16. Amen, so true
  17. That is what Jesus said to his disciples about the world's response to the Gospel. You promote false teaching and pretend you're being persecuted. You are not being persecuted; you're being corrected. Your false teaching is not going to fly here. You are promoting in another thread that is active right now endorsing the practice of Halloween trick or treating for kids?
  18. Hi Mr Possum, yes I like the way you sum it up, it is so true and so filled with wisdom, what is true foolishness is not understanding Gods Holy plea for us, to repent and ask to come back close to Him through His plan of Mercy and Grace. Yes we are only saved by Gods plan of Mercy and Grace. We can only come back home to God this way. John 14:6 Christ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. James 2:14-26New King James Version (NKJV) Faith Without Works Is Dead 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[a] works, and I will show you my faith by my[b] works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[c] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[d] And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James says, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26). Faith without works is a dead faith because the lack of works reveals an unchanged life or a spiritually dead heart. There are many verses that say that true saving faith will result in a transformed life, that faith is demonstrated by the works we do. How we live reveals what we believe and whether the faith we profess to have is a living faith. James 2:14–26 is sometimes taken out of context in an attempt to create a works-based system of righteousness, but that is contrary to many other passages of Scripture. James is not saying that our works make us righteous before God but that real saving faith is demonstrated by good works. Works are not the cause of salvation; works are the evidence of salvation. Faith in Christ always results in good works. The person who claims to be a Christian but lives in willful disobedience to Christ has a false or dead faith and is not saved. Paul basically says the same thing in 1 Corinthians 6:9–10. James contrasts two different types of faith—true faith that saves and false faith that is dead. Many profess to be Christians, but their lives and priorities indicate otherwise. Jesus put it this way: “By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. So by their fruits you will know them. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’ Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers’” (Matthew 7:16–23). -------------- Their where two prisoners on each side of Christ Jesus, one was mocking Him unto his own death while the other also dying, acknowledged his sin and ask asked Christ Jesus for His Mercy and Grace and to be with Him. God gave truly His Mercy and Grace to the repentant prisoners soul while the mocking prisoner grieved the Holy Spirit of God unto his own death and absence from God. ***Repentance is a true change of heart brought on by true honest faith.**** True repentance is acknowledging our sins and really wanting to turn away from our sins and daily continually making the faithful resolution to have a daily relationship with God and through His only begotten Son Christ Jesus, to keep turning from sin and when wrong asking for forgiveness and working in good honest faith with and in and through God working in us, through us, to transform us more and more in Christs new creation sinning less and less as we keep walking daily in our faith in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:20 19 that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God. 21God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.… ***A truly saved person becomes and ambassador=representative for Christ Jesus. A true representatives behavior is aligned to the ONE it is representing.*** 2 Corinthians 5:17 17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:… The true one floolishly fooling themselves is the one who continues to sin, knows it, but justifies arrogantly why they do it or try by ego pride to place a blind eye to what they are actually doing. The are the ones who are harming themselves by living a life of lies and sin thinking that its alright and that God will save them in the end because they believed in Christ Jesus. Yes we may still have sin in our lives, but if we truly are looking to get rig of our sins, God sees our willingness to want to turn away from them and in his Mercy forgives them, but we must not be confused by this and sinning willfully without feeling bad about it or desperately wanting to change our sin ways and be free from them once and for all. God came to free us and heal us from sin, that was His purpose. that we are sinners is why God came to buy us back from sin and heal us and cleanse us away from it. why? because sin corrupts and corrodes away good Godly consciousness sin slowly sears away at Gods given conscientiousness -All of us- have been given a good seed of faith, what we do with it , determines our fate. Romans 12:3 states ... "according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith"... To really believe in Christ Jesus is to know why Christ Jesus truly came for all of humanity. He came to buy us (all humanity who comes to Him in repentance) back from the power of sin over us and our lives and that includes our consciousness. The True WORK is done by the Holy Spirit of God working in our hearts our conscience, convicting our hearts, our conscience and healing and bringing back into us, through the circumcision of our hearts brought on by salvation, Gods good consciousnesses, Gods laws of truth working in our hearts and consciousness. God working in us, cleans back our consciousness into a clear, good and godly and innocent conscience. Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Only the power of Gods Mercy and Grace can change a consciousness that is broken from sin back into a wholesome consciousness that begins again to be able to recognize right from wrong AND have once again the capacity to FORGIVE. Matthew 6 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. what sin does is that the more one sins, the more one slowly sears the consciousness, slowly eroding Gods good consciousness that we where born with as innocent babies into corrupted consciousness by every sin we choose to take over repenting and going back to what is correct behavior. also look to (very important) Matthew 18:21-35 - The Parable of the Unmerciful/unforgiving Servant ---------------------------------------------- Gods GOOD consciousness, corrects behavior and comes from God. As none of us is good only God is good and goodness comes from Him living and working in us. sins purpose is to corrupt the soul, by slowly corrupting Gods consciousness with every sin we take and live with without repenting from it. Transforming step by step in the the child of Christ we were always intended to be, depends greatly on our active relationship with God. By actively engaging with God through a daily prayer/talk relationship, we enable Him to be able to work in our hearts, convict and heal our consciousness and move more and more into the ways of His light and further away from the ways of satan. The best way that shows what a truly saved person is like is in the parable of the sower found in Mathew ch13 The Parable of the Sower 13 On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea. 2 And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” The Purpose of Parables 10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should[a]heal them.’[b] 16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. The Parable of the Sower Explained 18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares 24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” The Parable of the Mustard Seed 31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” The Parable of the Leaven 33 Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures[c] of meal till it was all leavened.” Prophecy and the Parables 34 All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, 35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.”[d] The Parable of the Tares Explained 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” 37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! The Parable of the Hidden Treasure 44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. The Parable of the Dragnet 47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” 51 Jesus said to them,[e]“Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”[f] 52 Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning[g] the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.” Jesus Rejected at Nazareth 53 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there. 54 When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? 55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses,[h] Simon, and Judas? 56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” 57 So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” 58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. ------------------------------- Proverbs 3:5-6King James Version (KJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
  19. Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

  22. The original OP question was: what was our thoughts concerning smoking. As Christians on a christian forum, helpful answers should align to the Word of God . From there Let the spirit of the Lord work on the soul of the person. If a person knows what they are doing is not good, therein lies the answer as to what should be done.
  23. James 5:20 Restoring a Sinner 19My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
  24. This is a good post in that we all are sinners and need the Lord for restoration. When we have repented and asked Christ to be our Lord and personal Savior, and have asked the Holy Spirit of God to come make a home in our hearts, It is the Holy Spirit of God who works in us and also gently shows us what we need to do to, to let go of, get closer and closer to Him. But in our daily relationship with Him we must ask Him for His help. it all begins by placing our trust in Him and His word and believing by faith that He will help us and see us through every trial we are faced with here on earth. The more we place our trust and faith in him, the more He is abled to work in us. We dissable God helping us by our lack of faith and trust in Him and His Word. Until we meet with the Lord in heaven our carnal nature is in constant battle with us. But God shows us how to become overcomes. We all have specific sins to overcome, but God can help us overcome them all . Part of growing in Christ is getting transformed into His new creation, one step at a time. The things of the flesh should lesson and the things of the spirit should grow. The word of God is our guideline, our example to follow. What may seem impossible to us becomes possible with Christ Jesus who strengthens us. Philippians 4:13 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. God can change the vilest of repentant sinners into His saint. God is not a respecter of persons Acts 10:34 33So I sent for you immediately, and you were kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has instructed you to tell us.” 34Then Peter began to speak: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism, 35but welcomes those from every nation who fear Him and do what is right.… Romans 2:11 God's Righteous Judgment …10but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, first for the Jew, then for the Greek. 11For God does not show favoritism. 12All who sin apart from the Law will also perish apart from the Law, and all who sin under the Law will be judged by the Law.… God values a person faith=faithfulness towards Him. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. "Jesus said, For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all.For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light." (Luke 8:17) "Jesus said, But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts and witchrafts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." (Revelation 21:8) "Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."
