  1. Maybe her house was messy and she was embarrassed for anyone to see it. She also could have been busy cooking dinner, doing laundry, etc., and just not thought about the rain or could have had many things occupying her thoughts at that time. We never know what people may be going through, and sometimes acts of rudeness may be completely unintentional. Hopefully, the next time will be a better experience. Blessings to you!
  2. I liked both Oh yes....Foghorn Leghorn is the best, and we can't forget Miss Prissy. :-)
  3. LOL.... It would be threatened in my area also!!
  4. Exactly lol And there's centipedes and milipedes. Every year we get a centipede or two for a couple of weeks and then they disappear. Most are harmless to humans. Now this one would be freaky http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2015/07/04/This-Texas-redhead-centipede-is-freaking-the-Internet-out/7961436024663/ I think I would let that one have the house!!!
  5. Seek God first and foremost, and open your heart to His love. God does not expect perfection. Faithfulness and obedience are what He asks of us. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. ~Jeremiah 29-13 (ESV)
  6. Amen!! Absolutely beautiful testimony!!
  7. I agree with many of the others here. We know our loved ones are at Home and looking into the eyes of Jesus (Can't get any better than that), but we simply miss them dearly in this earthly realm. God created us with a whole gamut of emotions, so it is perfectly understandable to mourn when a loved one passes. We are, after all, human. Blessings to you.
  8. Welcome back! Sounds like you have been quite busy, to say the least! Dream Catchers seems like an outstanding group. May God continue to bless you in all that you do, dear sir!
  9. Well said!!!! ....and a big Welcome to you, John!
  10. There is always hope. Fight this feeling, and continue to hold God's hand. You WILL get through this, my friend, and the day will come where this will have been a stepping stone to a bright future. Trust in God....HE will never fail you. ((((Hugs))))
  11. I believe that angels exist in many forms and we see them often. They may be that stranger that helps you in your time of need or the homeless person on the street that shares a smile and reminds you that "your" problems aren't so bad after all. You never know where they may be.
  12. I was making a generalized statement about people judging others. Nothing was specific to anyone on this forum. We are each entitled to our own opinions. After all, the good Lord gave us a brain and free will, we just need to use them in a way that can help humanity rather than harm it.
  13. Well said, in my opinion. I don't believe that it is our place to be so judgemental. We never know anyone else's circumstances in life or obstacles they may have had to endure. Perhaps kindness rather than persecution would go further towards leading individuals to Christ.
  14. I'm taking the sword! It's much easier to get people to back down when you're holding a sword as opposed to a shield.
  15. We are, in most circumstances, taught that if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. An excess of alcohol consumption throws all those teachings to the side. (Unfortunately)
