Jesus will never let go of you: “27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one." - (John 10:27-30)

How to know you are saved:, “9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” (Romans 10:9-10) If you have confesses with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in Him in your heart you are saved. You keep wanting to sin because of what The Apostle Paul said: “15 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. 16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. 17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. 22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, 23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.” (Romans 7:15-25)

What Jesus thought of abusing children: “If anyone causes one of these little ones (young children)--those who believe in me--to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” (Matthew 18:6)

Certainly Desmas didn’t have time to get baptized: “And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:42-43) However baptism is important: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (Matthew 28:19) “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned..” (Mark 16:16) “1 And it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the inland country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples. 2 And he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they said, "No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit." 3 And he said, "Into what then were you baptized?" They said, "Into John's baptism." 4 And Paul said, "John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus." 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying. 7 There were about twelve men in all..” ( Acts 19:1-7)

In Jewish culture in Jesus’ times, to turn the other cheek meant not to recieve the rebuke again. The way people slapped with their hand, turning the other cheek made it so they couldn't hit you again. (Jewish Archaeologist, Israel).

If the Church is not militant, if it continues this pacifism Christ did not advocate, for He said, “if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one,” (Luke 22:36) we will find ourselves in another holocaust. For in 1915 the Armenian Christians were nearly annihilated (1.5 Million dead), in the 1940’s over 12 Million Christians were slaughtered alongside 7 Million Jews (Rosemary Schindler) . Today In Africa, in three countries Christians are being slaughtered and in Syria Recep Endogen, Pres of Turkey had declared holy war on Christians, as a result Syrian Christians are being genocided. The only thing keeping Christian Syriac women and children alive is their husbands are fighting back. Christ expects us to use our brains and tools to protect our loved ones. Self defense is a right, the right to preserve our lives is God ordained. King David wasn’t unable to byild the temple because he killed in war, the “blood on his hands” was fornicating with Bathsheba, getting her pregnant and having her husband Uriah murdered. God is in favor of self prservation, but not murder (selfish killing, revenge and out of personal lusts).

“The Christian doctrine of the Trinity (Latin: Trinitas, lit. 'triad', from Latin: trinus "threefold") holds that God is one God, but three coeternal consubstantial persons or hypostases—the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit—as "one Godin three Divine persons". (Google)

BREAKING NEWS! Gojira/ Godzilla is running for President. Slogan: Size Matters. -
But if it wasn’t for the sword, we, the church, would cease to exist. When the Ottoman Turks wages their holy war to conquer the West, Byzantium, Constantinople fell. The Turks tried to take the rest of Christendom, but were met by Catholic and Protestant forces at Vienna, Malta, Rhodes, and Lepanto. These battles with the aid of Christ’s intervention, ensured we are still here and not part of the Ummah or Dar al-Islam. Instead by the grace of God and the devotion of warriors, we remain Dar al Hareb, and continue to preach the Gospel. It was at gun point and swoed point the Lord preserved Christendom.
-
Wishing to not exist is somethng I believe every person has felt or thought. This world tests our limits, but thanks be to Christ that He is there for us in our darkest hours.

I am excited for the remake this NOV! The original is a classic.

“We do well to remember that only one Man has ever spoken infallibly—our Lord Jesus, who alone is Head of His church. Let us receive His Word—the Scriptures—as the only infallible communication from God.” -Are We Together? A Protestant View of Roman Catholicism, R.C. Sproul

A good book to quote from to your cousin that is respectful is “Are We Together? A Protestant Analysis of Roman Catholicism,” by R.C. Sproul. Here is a good summary: “J. C. Ryle said there is a hatred that is downright charity and that is the hatred of false doctrine. Sproul demonstrates great charity in this book as he addresses the false teachings of the Catholic church while also addressing the misunderstandings that Protestants often have about Catholic theology. Sproul's tone is loving and firm and unapologetic. This book is essential reading, especially in an age when so many Protestants are casually dismissing the significance of justification by faith alone and insisting that Catholics and Protestants are together in the gospel.” (Are We Together? A Protestant Analysis of Roman Catholicism, R.C. Sproul, review by Trisha, Good Reads)

“Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He [Jesus] has poured forth this which you both see and hear.” (Acts 2:33)

God’s love is equal to all, but if peopke chose to go to hell (John 3:18) then yes they are loved less. But that isp mlt once a person dies and exhausts all the opportunities of God’s mercy and grace. Jacob and Esau are not a good examples anymore, they are pre-Christ coming in flesh to save sinners.
