If they are friends it can be easier to ask them to stop, they should know you are a Christian and be prepared not to talk about some subjects. Paul was not a doormat to be walked over, he recognised that he had legal rights and was prepared to use them to further the gospel. Many people have gifts and skills that they were given by God and have worked hard at to perfect their use of those skills. Many people have questions about Christianity and about whether there is a God. Ask questions of them establishes more about where they are and how honest they are about seeking God. Basic questions are:- What do you believe? What evidence do you have for that belief? But even more challenging is to ask , what evidence would you accepte that demonstrates there is a God? Why is that acceptable? and What are you going to do about the evidence that there is a God? To expect a miraculous sign to prove God exists is not reasonable, especaily if that sign does not lead to a change in belief and practice of the sceptic. We have to be able to give a reason for our faith, equally the skeptic should give a reason for there unbelief.
