  1. Hi, Welcome to Worthy! You will find that most of us here (including me) believe in the pre-trib rapture. I never thought that if there was not a pre-trib rapture that they would be working in the field in darkness. I also cannot wait for the day that the Lord calls us home. God Bless!!!
  2. For OT: Daniel. He had such strong faith through unimaginable pain and destruction. NT: John. Well, it's hard to explain but, I think he could tell very interesting stories and would be interesting very intersting to talk to. I am indeed looking forward to talk to them in eterenity greatly, along with Jesus.
  3. Dear Worriedwife. I will be praying and asking God, to help you overcome your fears and pain, and for your husband. Isaiah 43:1-3 Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord you God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. God bless you and your husband.

  10. I am personally have watched two of the movies and I find that they are completly evil very un-christian, and I am supposed to be of the age that likes them, I found them so bad that they gave me nightmares for months. That said if you where to sit down and read them with your kids and carefully discuss each part of the book, and explain what is christian and what is not, then they could be a good teaching tool for older children. I personally have read the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, and I find that if you do it right they are actully very good books, for older children who have a established understanding of what is christian and what is not, probally 11 and up, if I remember corectly the author was christian, not sure though. I liked The Chronicals of Narnia, by CS Lewis great books, I also like a book called redemming love by Francine Rivers, I am personally a teenager so not good for young children under the age of 12, I also like a book called An Eye For and Eye, I forgot who the author was, it is christian, but it does have a christian romance, nothing gross though, just a couple kisses (Gross) Not for young readers though.
  11. To me prayer sounds like the best option with your cousin right now. I will be praying for them.
  12. Just because you go to church does not mean you are a chiristian and just because you confess still does not make you christian. What makes you a christian is according to bible. To actully have been saved you have to believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, and confess with your mouth that God raised him from the dead, then you will be saved. You came here because the holy spirit troubled you. If you are having doubts you are most likely helping those students cheat. What if one day you became very ill and need a lifesaving operation. And you find out that the person who is going to operate on you is one of your students who you know would have failed if it was not for you, how confident would you be with that person operating on you? I will be praying for you brother. If you are worried about not being able to provide for your family think about this, why don't you get rid of the part where you totaly write the papers and instead become a person the reads and grades the students papers and sends them suggestions and edits.
  13. Revelation of Jesus Christ to John and the churches
  14. According to my ESV bible it is gopher wood.
  15. According to Acts 221-3 the answer would be D. Gamaliel.
  16. So, if I am understanding correctly what y'all are saying is we are in the time of peace right now correct? But what about Matthew 24:14 which says: And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. If I remember correctly there are still some nations that have not heard the gospel. So, by your logic every nation has already heard the gospel, or am I misunderstanding Matthew 24?
