  1. While this is the ideal ... after running a forum for almost 20 years ... it's impossible with 60,000 members! Another aspect you don't see ... is that the threads available via Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines are believers discussing with other believers a great number of topics. This allows our witness on the internet to be stronger. God bless, George
  2. This is the delicate balance. First of all, we're a ministry of OUTREACH. However, sad to say, most believers have never been equipped, nor have the patience or the faith to be able to boldly share their faith. So the areas whereby non-believers can freely express themselves is limited to those who have the heart, the desire, and the patience to share their faith. They have the freedom to express themselves in those forums. There are no limitations to freedom of speech in those forums. As a matter of fact, in those forums, because it's limited -- we're actually allowing a deeper dialogue since as a Moderation team is not hindered with the thoughts in the back of our mind about protecting the flock. The main section of the forums is for Christians ... simple as that. It's a place for Christians to freely express themselves ... which honestly is hard to find these days on the internet. Honestly, it's combining the two different aspects of ministry ... outreach ... and discipling, nurturing, training and encouragement. They are two opposite objectives being accomplished simultaneously. Think about it ... if we're trying to disciple ... do you want a non-believer freely expressing their thoughts into a deep discussion that deals with deeper issues of faith? On the opposite spectrum ... if you're trying to desperately reach the lost ... do you want someone with little patience jumping into a discussion saying ... throw your pearls before the swine you heathen? or you're going to hell ... I'm done with you? When the reality is ... patience, prayer and a heart for the lost is needed. So we've isolated those who have this heart -- to have access to those forums. The reality is ... both have a place ... and both aspects are being accomplished. God bless, George
  3. Esther 4:14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Last night began the feast of Purim, which celebrates the deliverance of the Jewish people from one of many of Satan's attempts to purge them from the world. Mordechai gave Esther a great challenge then, "and who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such as time as this?" This is a challenge for all of us! As each generation is raised up, God appoints men and women to rise up to the challenge of that age. We are alive in this day and in this hour (an amazing day and hour, at that) and God is saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" He is awaiting those who will come forward and say "Hineni" here am I, in Hebrew! And if we fall short of this challenge, "deliverance may arise from another place!" Let's not let that happen -- God wants to use us! Let's rise to the occasion! God has great things ahead! The post Time to Step Up! appeared first on Worthy Christian Devotional - Daily Devotions. 5. @JustCurious Can you tell me how you would "test the spirits" to see if they are of God?
  6. Ever since I had my cornea cut about 7 years ago ... I have light sensitivity issues. It's almost impossible for me to be outside in bright sun -- especially in the Israeli desert without my sunglasses.
  7. You'll witness a tidbit of my wife singing before I speak. This is the message I brought to the United States this year. God bless, George

  13. Wells are used to extract water from the ground below as we all know. Nowadays, there are built in filters to sift out unwanted particles that could clog the pipe that leads from the water source to the well. But back in Abraham's time when these wells were built, I'm not so sure. The post Well, what are you waiting for? appeared first on Worthy Christian Devotional - Daily Devotions. 14. Living by faith financially can be a wonderful thing. Back in Jesus' day, people didn't have savings and money market accounts, mutual funds, and IRA's. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that those things are bad to have. What I'm saying is that those of us who live without them have an opportunity -- an opportunity to see God provide in miraculous ways!
