  1. I sent you a private message with one of the violations in it, check that window and it should clear it up for you. God bless
  2. I was referring to the original post that was removed, the one you just posted has no violations that I see in it. The one that was removed contained several words that had *** substituting for letters. From what I recall it was in reference to an incident with guns, and shooting, if that refreshes your memory. I can't quote the post since the forum moderators have removed it already. As a watchman I did see the report when it came in, and saw the infraction, which is why I responded as to why. Just didn't want you to think that your end times position was an issue, or have you re-post the one from before only to have it removed again if it still contained those violations. God bless
  3. Yes, a post was removed because it violated the ToS. It had nothing to do with your end times position, as you can see on this forum there are many who do not believe in a pre-trib rapture. You may want to examine the ToS at the bottom of the page, but I can point out the specific violation the removed post had in it. The use of profanity will not be tolerated. This includes sexually explicit, vulgar, or other profane language or usernames as well as any any signs or symbols that suggests such. Do not post sexually explicit, vulgar or offensive website addresses (URL's) to the forum. (Eph. 4: 29) God bless
  4. I think for starters, based on some of your posts and what I know from that, you need to turn your focus on the Lord. Right now, by all accounts, you are caught up in all sorts of activities contrary to living for God. So, in effect, you have been living for yourself for quite some time, perhaps your entire life. Start from the very beginning, get on your knees and ask the King of Kings to be Lord of your life. Time to set aside all these other things, and get your house in order before it is too late. Submit to God, and start your journey with Him anew. God bless
  5. Now you know where to start my friend, God bless.
  6. I Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
  7. The simple answer is to resist the devil and he will flee. Avoid the things that are tempting you, which may not be easy to do, but it is what is necessary. At some point you have to submit yourself to God if you want to please Him. Paul speaks about renewing your mind, this is something you should do each day when you wake and resolve to doing so throughout the day. Ultimately the choice is yours, God is not going to force you, so you have to make a choice who you will serve, yourself, or God? Praying for you, God bless.
  8. Hey brother, Actually the dilemma is that they are in heaven, as this is where John places himself at the beginning of Revelation. Revelation 4 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. Now unless you can provide a verse somewhere within Revelation after this, which reveals John came back down, then the dilemma is not mine. God bless
  9. Have you considered that maybe God is wanting you to draw closer to Him at this time, as opposed to pulling away? If what you are doing now is only making the situation worse, a different approach is probably the solution. Praying for you sister. God bless
  10. If no one ever goes to heaven, someone should have told John he was seeing things. Revelation 7:9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” 13 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” 14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. He was seeing things here as well, and also hearing things too apparently. Revelation 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.
  11. Then try this exercise out. Truly I say to you yesterday, you will be with me in Paradise. Truly I say to you tomorrow, you will be with me in Paradise. It is nonsensical, and this is why you cannot produce one scripture where the phrase "truly I say to you" is followed with a time designation. It is also a clumsy handling of a language that still exists, and which the world as we know it derived a lot of useful information in multiple areas. Those who want to move the comma, simply display that they do not know Greek at all other than from a book. No fluency translates to confusion. This again is why you will find not one translation from a Greek scholar placing the comma anywhere other than where it appears, because it belongs there in English. When I read it in Greek it means exactly what it says in English. It is also a matter of the reliability of scripture, and a flawed thinking that man can thwart God's ability to preserve and deliver His word as intended. God bless
  12. Of course the issue with this attempt is that Jesus said many, many times, "Truly I tell you", and not once in all of scripture does he follow it with the word today. It would be nonsensical to say, as obviously He is speaking to them in that day, under each of these circumstances. While Greek does not use punctuation, not once in all of the translations do you find any Greek scholar placing the comma anywhere else. As someone who understands Greek, there is a reason for that, and it is because the comma is exactly where it should be. God bless
  13. Matthew 19:3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?” 4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” 7 They said to him, “Why then did Moses command one to give a certificate of divorce and to send her away?” 8 He said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.” I Corinthians 7:10 To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband 11 (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife. 12 To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. 13 If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. 15 But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you to peace. 16 For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
  14. I think it can vary from one individual to another, personally I chose not to get baptized in my youth despite a lot of pressure being applied from the church. I didn't think that was the proper reason to do it, so I really think it is a matter of choice by the individual themselves. I certainly wouldn't discourage it, but would make sure it was being done for the right reasons. God bless
  15. That seems to be the case in regards to just about everything with him.
  16. There was nothing more to add. Scripture takes us from the creation, through the history of how and why God would come to us and save us from ourselves. It contains all methods to proceed through life in a manner pleasing to God, how to deal with any and all situations we will face, and lets us know how it will end, and what to look for as the day approaches. Most importantly, it points us to our Savior. God bless
  17. Nothing wrong with being single. It could be that the only woman who would be compatible for you simply hasn't crossed your path yet. Or it could be that you are simply meant to remain single. Either way, it is best to be content with where and who you are than to rush into bad decisions as some do. God bless
  18. I would say many are well educated. I would say most regulars have good biblical knowledge, not necessarily everyone who comments does though. It also depends on the forum area, outer court is accessible to non-believers so you get a wide variety of comments there. Yes there are many new believers as well. I would say most of the regulars are theologically conservative. What I mean by many beliefs, is in regards to certain doctrinal issues. If you have not done so, you may want to familiarize yourself with the ToS and SoF located at the bottom of the forum page for the site. While there is some latitude for those who are asking sincere questions, there is also a standard the site adheres to. Enjoy. God bless
  19. I wouldn't say it is the wild west for sure, although there are many different beliefs expressed, the forum is well moderated.
  20. Hard to keep track, I think in my ten years here now I've seen about 24 two witnesses come through. What I find most ironic about this, is where in scripture do you see one without the other?
  21. Yes, they count. Welcome to worthy
  22. Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. 9 Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools. 10 Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. 11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance, an advantage to those who see the sun. 12 For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it. 13 Consider the work of God: who can make straight what he has made crooked? 14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.
  23. You can learn more regarding these events in Revelation 20, where you will find two resurrections mentioned in that chapter. The first resurrection happens before the millennium, and it includes all those in Christ. The second resurrection occurs at the end of the millennium, and it includes all those who lived during the millennium, along with all those who have died outside of Christ from the beginning. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Note in the above passage that this is the second death, which only happens to those who are outside of Christ. This is when Hades (hell) is done away with, so that should be fairly clear it still exists today. God bless
  24. I would say, you are a joint heir with Jesus Christ, King of kings!
