  1. Acts 14:22 - "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God". Just as Israel had to go through a wilderness that was the exact opposite of the land of milk and honey they had been promised in order to get to their inheritance, we too, must do the same. For many of us, we have experienced a wilderness while fulfilling God's purpose for our life. We feel lonely, barren, and unfruitful. We have been so dry and thirsty that we find ourselves crying out to God in desperation. Our life is in disorder, and at times we are confused and irritated. God has a purpose for our wilderness -- He does NOT plan for us to stay there! God brought the Israelites out of Egypt for the purpose of not only proving their hearts, but also to give them an opening to be delivered from a slavery mentality. John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." Hebrews 3:1 - "Therefore, holy brethren, who share in a heavenly call, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession." AFFIRMATION: My confession -- the words I constantly speak day-after-day determine all that I will ever receive from God, whether it's salvation, physical healing, peace, or financial prosperity. Hebrews 4:15 - "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." PAIN IS NOT MY ENEMY BUT MERELY THE PROOF THAT I HAVE ONE. Psalm 34:19 - "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. John 3:3 - "Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."' Once Israel partook of the passover their who world changed. They left egypt immediately to go to a place they had neveer seen. Likewise, when we partake of the passover sacrifice of Jesus everything changes -- we are BORN AGAIN into a whole new world. Believing for a manifestation of God's Kingdom in our lives and walking in a Kingdom mindset is vital. Why? Because we were created on purpose for this purpose! We are body and we are spirit; we are born from above. As a spirit being born from above and born again, we're to experience the Heavenly realm with our spiritual senses. You are living by another set of rules. You are living by a superior order. All believers are released into the work of the ministry in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Believe that! Proverbs 18:21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Observation: GOD DESIGNED ME SO THAT THE WORDS I SPEAK GO DIRECTLY INTO MY HEART. THE INTENT IS TO GIVE LIFE, MAKE ALIVE, AND QUICKEN THE HUMAN SPIRIT WITHIN. Psalm 42:1 - "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O God." Affirmation: I ONLY QUALIFY FOR WHAT I PURSUE. Jeremiah 29:13 - "And ye shall seek Me, and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." Ecclesiastes 9:10 - "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Matthew 5:8 -- "Blessed (happy, enviably fortunate, and spiritually prosperous - possessing the happiness produced by the experience of God's favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His grace, regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!" It may be dark in the world, but the Light of the World will make darkness light to you if you allow Him to open your spiritual eyes (the eyes of your heart) to the truth of the reality of Himself in the existing and coming challenging days. When we see ourselves for whom we truly are meant to be in God, we can begin to call others out of their limited ways into seeing the limitless reality that is available to them in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 -- "Blessed be the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." Heaven is the realm into which we are called to abide with Christ Jesus, and the only truly effective ministry we will ever have on this earth is originated from that position. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: Do I see myself for whom I am truly meant to be in God? If not--then why not? Who have I called out of their limited ways lately and shown them a higher life than what they are used to? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Genesis 12:1,4 - "Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee. So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him." Abraham may not have known where He was going, but He did know what He was looking for. He left ecverything to be a part of what God was building. This is also our quest, to be a part of what God is doing (our DESTINY). Mark 9:23 - "Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'" If we choose not to heed the leading of the Spirit and become PROACTIVE in renewing our minds, it is possible that we will limit God's power and anointing from flowing through our lives because of UN-RENEWED thinking patterns that we are still embracing. We have the potential to believe impossibilities into possibilities. Let's break the bondage of a passive spirit. Let's take up the sword of the Spirit and embrace the fight of faith! Observation: THE ONLY LIMITS I HAVE ARE THE ONES THAT I PLACE UPON MYSELF. Isaiah 26:3 - "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee." PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF CONFLICT, IT IS THE ABSENCE OF INNER CONFLICT. Romans 8:6 - "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace". Galatians 5:22 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. We let the Lord take our heart through a process. Just as Peter had to go through a series of events to be ready to be used in an extraordinary way, we realize that God has a process for all of us. What the Lord worked in Peter was a new identity, a dependency upon the Lord so that he would not trust in His own strength. We learn to lean on the strength of God, not taking things into your own hands. WE WALK IN DISCERNMENT BEING AN INFLUENCE FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD Philippians 1:9-11 - "And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." Keep your discernment. Love and discernment work together. They always do. We do not turn on love and turn off discernment. We do not turn on discernment and turn off love. Rather, we use them both together. True discernment comes from the Holy Spirit Who pours the love of God in our hearts. Jesus comes to bring the cure. That cure can only happen because He sees what is needed. WE KEEP OUR HEART FREE AND WALK IN LOVE Matthew 5:9 - "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." Be willing to reconcile with others who are embittered against you. Some may be in a bitter place not wanting to reconcile. Maybe they "cut you off" because of their bitterness. Just realize you need to be willing to be a peacemaker. Pray that the Lord will tenderize their heart and fill them with the love of God. Bitterness blinds people. He who has a bitter root defiles many because they spread evil reports with gossip. Walk in love and pray that God gives them the gift of repentance. WE GET UNDERSTANDING ON SOWING SEED AND HARVEST TIME 2 Corinthians 9:6,7 - "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." Make an effort to understand the power of sowing and reaping. Realize that all God has entrusted to us we are the steward of. In that way, all that we have is seed that can be sown into different places. Our time, work, money, prayers, worship is all seed that is sown. One plants, one waters, but God gives the increase! If we want increase in our life, both in the spirit and in the natural, we need to get the revelation of seedtime and harvest. Who doesn't want a harvest in their lives? I believe we all do. But we have to sow in order to reap. WE DRINK HIS NEW WINE! Hebrews 1:8,9 - "But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions." We take time to not only seek the Lord, but to receive from the Lord the new wine of His Presence. We allow God to fill us with His joy as the Holy Spirit saturates us. For it is the joy that comes in His Presence that strengthens us. God will give us a fresh anointing in His CALLING on our life as we simply receive in His Presence. Jesus was anointed with the oil of joy far above all others. How much more do we need His oil upon our lives. WE ARE ALL COMMANDED TO DO THE WORK OF MINISTRY John 21:17 - "He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?' Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, 'Do you love Me?' And he said to Him, 'Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.' Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.'" One of the unique things about the Church of the New Covenant is that God has authorized and commanded every believer to do the work of the ministry! God wants an entire army of workers out doing the vital work of DISCIPLESHIP of the saints and building up His Body, the Church. Many churches are so focused on the salvation message that they fail to feed and help mature the sheep who have already come to salvation. Believers should be equipped to DISCIPLE the new believers so they will be effective in personal ministry. "My children with who I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.." - Galatians 4:19 The true success of our ministry to others will be by how it brought forth the formation of Christ within the person God has given us to DISCIPLE. 6. Ephesians 1: 9,10 - "Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might GATHER TOGETHER IN ONE ALL THINGS IN CHRIST, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him." THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE OF GOD IS THAT ALL THINGS WILL BE SUMMED UP IN HIS SON. Observation: IF I DO NOT KEEP THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE OF GOD AS THE FOCUS OF MY LIFE, AND ASSURE THAT ALL I DO IS FOUNDED IN JESUS I WILL BE CONTINUALLY DISTRACTED FROM THE RIVER OF LIFE. John 6:63 - "It is the spirit that quickeneth (or makes alive) ; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." Jesus described the words that He spoke as "spirit and life" -- Jesus' words were an investment into others revealing the heart of His Father to them. When He opened His mouth, word-shaped containers of God's grace would bring Heaven to earth in the hearts of the hungry that heard Him. They still do today through the mouths of believers advancing His kingdom. Affirmation: EVERY TIME I TAKE THE WORD INTO MY HEART, BELIEVE IT AND ACT ON IT, THAT LIFE OF WHICH JESUS SPOKE, THE VERY LIFE OF GOD HIMSELF, IS RELEASED IN ME. 2 Corinthians 6:14,15 - "Do not try to work together as equals with unbelievers, for it cannot be done. How can right and wrong be partners? How can light and darkness live together? How can Christ and the Devil agree?" Observation: EVERY RELATIONSHIP TAKES ME TOWARDS MY DREAMS OR AWAY FROM THEM. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." If the Holy Spirit can make a glorious creation out of the most desolate place, He can bring forth a glorious new creation out of the most desolate, confused, and empty life. 1 Corinthians 1:2 - "To all who are called to be God's holy people, who belong to Him in union with Jesus Christ, together with all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours." Affirmations: I REALIZE THAT I AM GOD'S CHILD AND HAVE THE POWER OF ATTORNEY TO USE THE NAME OF JESUS AND HAVE EVERYTHING THE WORD SAYS I CAN HAVE. I HAVE CONFIDENCE BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I'M NOT SPEAKING MY OWN WORDS, I AM SPEAKING GOD'S WORD AND IT WILL COME TO PASS. Ephesians 2:19 - "Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God". Psalm 34:1 -" I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Affirmation: MY PRESENT FOCUS DETERMINES MY PRESENT JOY. Psalm 69:30 - "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. "For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 Whether or not you feel you are fulfilling your destiny, you are being prepared by the King of kings for His good purposes. You were chosen by God and have been given a divine DESTINYin eternities past. Why? The Lord is CALLING you to partner with Him to shape the future of the Kingdom of God (see 2 Corinthians 6:1,2: "And working together with Him......now is the acceptable time.")! This seems almost too marvelous to be true, but it is the Word of God. What does it mean to be "HIS workmanship"? The Greek term translated workmanship is"poiema", from which we derive the English word poem. Indeed, we are God's poem, written in ages past to be a living testimony of His presence on earth (see Psalm 139:16-17). Without exception, every Believer has been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has ordained for us. REVELATION OF ANOINTING The desperate cry of many Believers is: "Oh, Lord, let Your works appear unto Your people" (see Psalm 90:16-17). The good news is that God's anointing rests upon upright followers of Jesus, and we will fulfill His purposes on earth. God has not only ordained good works for us, but He has also provided the grace we need to perform these works (see Philippians 4:13). We all have "an unction to function." Each one of us is anointed to fulfill the purposes of God (see Acts 1:8). As we move deeper into this season of sensitivity and revelatory enlightenment, we must step into our CALLING and DESTINY -- fixing our eyes on Jesus and Him alone. Only in His light do we see light (see Psalm 36:9). Only in His presence do we obtain a happy, holy heart (see Psalm 16:11). LEADERS WITH PURE HEARTS Divinely appointed leaders are emerging who have a single heart's goal to establish the King in His Kingdom on earth. Christ Jesus will have for Himself a people prepared to do greater works (see John 14:12). This is not a time for any Believer or leader in the Body of Christ to be humdrum, expecting only what we have seen and experienced before. We have never been where we are going now (see Joshua 3:4). We all must prepare for what is ahead: The call to embrace the awe of Almighty God. A wonderful, reverential fear of the Lord is returning to the people of God, releasing the wisdom of God (see Psalm 111:10). The hearts and lives of millions are going to be touched and transformed by the power of God during these days, as God's people return to a radical love for Christ and action regarding God's PURPOSE for their life supported by that love. REVELATION AND STRATEGIES The Spirit of Truth is releasing revelatory insights for all who are willing to hear Him with a heart set to obey what He is requesting (see James 1:22). Prepare to see an acceleration of the advancing of God's plans and purposes. God will have a people of purity and power, who live, move (initiating action instead of complacency), and have a revelation of their DESTINY in Christ. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. 1 Timothy 2:1 - "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men." We can bear the burdens of others and we are the go-between for them before God. We identify with the weak, helpless, fear-filled, unborn, sick, poverty stricken, homeless, hungry, depressed, and spiritually destitute. We ask on their behalf, in faith, believing. Then, as the Father gives direction, we GO and minister to them and His power becomes available to set them free. AFFIRMATION: I inwardly ask for the joy of the Lord and a deeper awareness of His presence to rise up within every person I meet. 1 Corinthians 15:34 - "Awake to righteousness, and sin not: for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." AFFIRMATIONS: I press-in to and become conscious of the reality of the righteousness God birthed in me the moment I received Jesus as Lord. As that righteousness consciousness grows and develops within me, it will eventually become bigger and more powerful than all the problems that surround me as I seek God's purpose for my life. I am becoming more skillful in "the word of righteousness." Hebrews 5:13 - "For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the Word of righteousness; for he is a babe." Matthew 5:8 - "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Affirmations: I CANNOT HAVE A GREAT LIFE UNLESS I HAVE A PURPOSE CENTERED LIFE. I CANNOT HAVE A GOD'S PURPOSE FILLED LIFE UNLESS I HAVE A PURE MIND. I CANNOT HAVE A PURE MIND UNLESS I WASH IT DAILY WITH THE WORD OF GOD. 2 Timothy 2:16 - "Keep away from godless and foolish discussions, which only drive people farther away from God." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Isaiah 60:1-2 "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee...the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee." A central role of us being here on earth is to establish the Throne of God where we are. Whenever we worship, pray, preach or engage in any activity of God's Kingdom, it is so that God's authority and rule would be established in the hearts of people, cities, regions and nations. Our role is to manifest His glory so that everything around us is affected by His Kingdom glory. EXPANDING THE BORDERS Numbers 14:24 "But My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed Me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it." Through our persistence and consistency in worship and SPIRITUAL ACTION TAKEN ON BEHALF OF OTHERS, we expand the borders of what is currently established concerning the realm of Heaven on earth. If we lose sight of OUR PURPOSE that God has for us being here we will drift aimlessly into things that are not fulfilling, but leave us empty and confused as to why we are here. Like Caleb, we need a "different spirit" that is exemplary in faith. For he who is born of God"overcomes" the world, possessing and inheriting the promises. (1 John 5:4) AFFECTING YOUR ATMOSPHERE Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High..." It is absolutely needed for us to keep our eyes on the intentional PURPOSES of God for US being on the planet. Every day is an occasion to affect the atmosphere of where we are. Don't allow the enemy to weary you, causing you to lose focus and bring you into an oppressive state of mind. Jesus gave His life so that we, first of all, would find freedom and then be able to be the conduits of His glory in the earth. He has given us His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the most powerful weapon that we have because He is the very Person of God inside of us! We, therefore, live out our privilege of being a dwelling place of God. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in THE HOLY GHOST. This is a basic foundation of Kingdom living. Romans 14:17 "For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." The Church should put much more emphasis on the Holy Spirit, because we cannot overcome or glorify Jesus without Him. It is an awful pride to think we can live without this intimate communion with the Spirit. We are to be completely dependent upon Him. BE ON COURSE Our lives cannot be like "teeter-totters" that shift one way, then go the other way. We have aDESTINY! Divine focus is an essential element that steers us like the rudder does a ship into the place of consistent lives before His Presence. Imagine a ship that is constantly going off course. It may get back on course over and over again but so much time is wasted. That is why Paul tells us to run the race "to win". 1 Corinthians 9:24 "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain." There is a way that we run that causes us to have victory. It is not enough to be on the course, we must be ON course the entire way. To the level that we maintain our FOCUS, we will also maintain consistency establishing the Throne of God in the earth through that CALLING of God on our life. HIS THRONE Revelation 4:2-3 "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in Heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald." Wherever we are, we are to be establishing His Throne. This is not our personal throne, our ministry or whatever would have to do with personal agenda. This is Heaven on earth where God's glory, THROUGH US, is changing atmospheres and the heart's of men. When His Throne is established, Heaven invades earth, His power is demonstrated and lives are changed. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. Isaiah 6:2,3 - "Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called out to another and said, 'Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory."' Observation: I WILL SEE HIS GLORY ALSO IF I WILL DWELL IN HIS PRESENCE. WHEN I BEHOLD HIS GLORY I AM CHANGED INTO A DEMONSTRATION OF IT. Job 3:25 - "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." Observation: FEAR IS FAITH IN SATAN, BELIEVING IN HIS ABILITY TO HURT ME. Romans 10:8 - "But what says it? The word is near thee, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach." His Word is not just a comfort to us in times of trouble but a sword that we wield in times of spiritual war. His faithful Word is what we proclaim over our CALLINGin Christ, our family, our church, our city and our nation! Many Christians are awakened spiritually, but they do not know God's promises in the Bible. To be successful, we must know God's Word, believe it, MEDITATEon it, and SPEAK it with faith. We overcome by the "word of our testimony." Proclaim the Word of God with authority. Indeed, the Holy Spirit tells us to take up "the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God" (Ephesians 6:17). If we advance protected by the Blood of the Lamb, if we war armed with the Word of God, and if we shoulder in our hearts the Cross of Christ, we will truly be "more than conquerors through Him that loved us" (Romans 8:37). Affirmation: MY DESTINY IS IN MY MOUTH. ITS MY WORDS - NOT ANYONE ELSE'S - THAT DETERMINE MY SUCCESS OR FAILURE. Hebrews 3:1 - "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Galatians 1:10 - "If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ." Observation: IF I AM TO WALK WITH CHRIST I NEED TO BE DELIVERED FROM THE FEAR OF MAN, THE COMPULSION TO BE ACCEPTED BY MEN, AND THE MOTIVE OF WANTING TO RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THEM. Acts 6:4 - "But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word." TO PRAY IS TO CHANGE. Observation: PRAYER IS THE CENTRAL AVENUE GOD USES TO TRANSFORM ME. IF I AM UNWILLING TO CHANGE I WILL ABANDON PRAYER AS A NOTICEABLE CHARACTERISTIC OF MY LIFE. Psalm 63:1 - "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul longeth for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is." John 15:7 - "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you." Some are willing to spend hours in prayer asking for a miracle instead of planting the Word of God in their hearts, which in time would produce the miracle. Prayer is what water and fertilizer are to a seed. They help the Word release its life. But if you haven't planted the seed, it doesn't matter how much water and fertilizer you apply, the soil still won't produce fruit. It's the seed that has life! AFFIRMATION: The creative language of God is demonstrated when I speak forth the creative word of God in boldness and confidence because it is abiding in my spirit. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. In Jeremiah 33:3, we are told to call to Him so He can reveal things that were once hidden but now have become accessible. He wants to bring restoration and establish His purpose and plan in our lives—not man’s plan but His plan. All we need to do is ask. Psalm 33:10–12: "The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance." Here we see that the Lord does reveal His counsel to those who seek His heart for each generation. And where the Lord releases His counsel, He also flows with His might. Counsel and might flow together (see Isa. 11:2). In First Corinthians 2:10, we also find that the revealer loves to reveal to us the things He has for us: “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God” (NKJV). A HIGHER WISDOM AVAILABLE This is why, in First Corinthians 2:4–5, Paul writes: "And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God (NKJV)." In the very next verse, Paul explains why this is important, writing: "Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away." - 1 Corinthians 2:6 AMP POSITIONING OUR HEART FOR HIS HEART Be of good cheer! Don’t be shaken in your faith by the outward circumstances around you or by the plans of people. The plan and purpose of the Lord will be established. As you seek Him, positioning your heart for His heart, He will reveal to you what He plans. The Lord is sending out His voice, and He is looking for those who have hearts set toward Him. He is giving entrance into the things that the natural cannot access. We can only enter them by the Spirit of the Lord, as Scripture makes clear: "The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." - John 14:17 NKJV "For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father." - Ephesians 2:18 NKJV Let’s come into agreement with this verse: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV). Here the word mighty actually means “inaccessible.” Once it wasn’t accessible, but now it has been opened to you! Truly, through His counsel and might, He is releasing and activating mighty deeds that can only be done by His Spirit. No matter how small they may seem, they are mighty, because with the Lord, a spark becomes a glory awakening. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Revelation 4:1,2 -- "After these things, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, "come up here, and I will show you what must take place after theses things. "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne." A sign in front of a church said "We Are Just A Waiting Room For Heaven." That is not what we are called to be. We are called to be a Gateway to heaven through which people can enter into and begin to experience heaven now! Every time we ascend we will descend with a blessing for the earth. The blessing we come back with is a piece of heaven -- evidence of it's existence. The way we do this is the "Way", Jesus. As we ascend by the progressive revelation of who He is, we will see more glory, and we will carry that glory with us. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: What do I do to ascend into heaven? What piece of heaven am I descending with as I bring back a blessing to earth? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. 1 Corinthians 2:7,8 - "But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, how shall the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory?" These are days of DESTINY, filled with wonder and excitement. The awe of God is returning to the people of God, filling the heart of God's people with great expectation. Every eye shall behold His brilliance and magnificent Glory WHERE IS THE GLORY? IT IS IN HIS PRESENCE. OBSERVATION: When I learn to draw close to Him and dwell in His presence, I will experience something even greater than what Moses did. Moses met with Him face-to-face, but I have Him living in Me. Hebrews 12:29 - "For our God is a consuming fire". OBSERVATION: If I am truly getting closer to Him, the fire in my life will be growing. Ephesians 2:6 - "And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." AFFIRMATIONS: A spiritual kingdom lies all about me, embracing me, altogether within reach of my inner self, waiting for me to recognize it. God Himself is here waiting my response to His presence. This eternal world will come alive to me the moment I begin to recon upon its reality. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. 1 Corinthians 2:10 - "For to us God revealed them through His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God." Because the Spirit "searches all things, even the depths of God", no one who is truly led by the Spirit will be shallow in their understanding. If we are led by the Spirit, we will love the truth enough to seek it out. We will be compelled to have a depth to our knowledge. Affirmation: THE SPIRIT ALSO WANTS TO MOVE IN ME TO SEARCH THE DEPTHS OF GOD. John 11:44 - "And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, 'Loose him, and let him go.'" Observation: I know that I can be raised from the dead spiritually and yet, still be bound. I can be saved by the power of Christ and yet, still be bound by the tight trappings of life. Isaiah 53:3 - "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not." Affirmation: I OVERCOME REJECTION BECAUSE MY VISION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN APPROVAL. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. In Song of Solomon 2, the Lover (Jesus) is wooing His Beloved to a new place in verse 10, "Rise up, my beloved, my fair one, and come away," he invites. He then goes on to declare that "the winter is past…the flowers are springing up, and the time of singing birds has come…the fig trees are budding, and the grapevines are in blossom," and then he repeats his invitation for her to arise and come away with him (Song of Solomon 2:13). NEW THINGS AND NEW PLACES The Lover (Jesus) is announcing that it is a new hour, a new season, and that he has new things to show her, new places to take her, new heights for them to soar to together. She is hearing him on some level (Song of Solomon 2:8), and yet at the beginning of Song of Solomon 3 we see that while she is yearning for her Lover, she is still reaching out for him where she has always found him – and discovers that he is no longer there (Song of Solomon 3:1). STEPPING INTO THE UNCERTAINTY OF THE UNKNOWN She has a choice to make. She can continue to search for him where he has been, or she can respond to the invitation to arise and step into the uncertainty of the unknown, discovering him in new places and in new ways (Song of Solomon 3:2-4). She chooses the latter, and in doing so embarks on a journey with her Lover in which she comes to know him, rely on him, and lean into him to such a degree that she is completely transformed – so much so that her peers do not even recognize her when she returns (Song of Solomon 8:5). CALL TO ARISE INTO A NEW PLACE WITH HIM Like in the Song of Solomon, we have entered into a new season. The Lord is beckoning us, wooing us, inviting us to come away from where we have been and arise into a new place with Him – a place of greater revelation and demonstration of all that He is. If you have noticed lately that things seem different, or you're not quite finding God "how" or "where" you have in the past, do not despair; do not be discouraged. He is simply answering your prayers. He is moving. He is inviting you to come along with Him. Arise Beloved! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. Matthew 18:18-19 “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. 19“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven." (Two of the most powerful weapons of spiritual warfare are binding and loosing, or forbidding and permitting. Binding stops the enemy’s attacks, loosing releases or permits God’s will to enter the situation because God has willed that His purposes be carried out by asking in prayer.) Proverbs 18:21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it willeat its fruit." (Binding and loosing is in the power of the tongue.) Jeremiah 1:10 "See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant." (It is our destiny to have authority.) Luke 19:46 "Saying unto them, 'It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.'" (Jesus bound or spoke the word of God over the temple and re-established it as a house of prayer again.) Matthew 4:3-11 And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”5Then the devil took* Him into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, 6and said* to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning You’; And ‘On their hands they will bear You up, So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’” 7Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 8Again, the devil took* Him to a very high mountain and showed* Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.” 10Then Jesus said* to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’” 11Then the devil left* Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him. (Jesus spoke the word of God over and over against the enemy until Satan was so weakened that his power to tempt Jesus was broken. Example of verbage to bind satan (in a case where there is strife and bickering in a situation in the body of Christ) : “Satan, according to the word of God I forbid you to cause any more strife in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! For it is written ‘Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!’” Psalm 133:1 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. Matthew 16:16,18. - "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And I say also unto thee, 'That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.'" Observation: THE ROCK THAT THE LORD IS BUILDING HIS CHURCH UPON IS THE REVELATION FROM THE FATHER OF WHO JESUS IS. I MUST HAVE A PERSONAL REVELATION FROM THE FATHER OF WHO JESUS IS. HE MUST BE MY OWN KING AND SAVIOR. Acts 4:33 - "And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all." THE POWER OF GOD THAT I EXPERIENCE IN LIFE IS MORE UP TO ME THAN IT IS UP TO THE LORD. IT'S MY ASSIGNMENT TO MAKE SURE THAT I HAVE THE WORD ABIDING IN ME. Psalm 145:2 - "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever." WHAT I DO DAILY DETERMINES WHAT I BECOME PERMANENTLY. Proverbs 8:34 - "Blessed is the man that heareth Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. Colossians 1:18,20 - "And He is the head of the body, the church....to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross." The work of the Cross of Christ made it possible for Believers in Him to receive right standing with the Father. Jesus' righteousness became theirs. They could now enter into fellowship and favor with God. Satan had been deprived of his one great weapon. The people who put their trust in Jesus could be forgiven for their rebellion against God (see John 1:12). In one master stroke, Jesus accomplished three things: 1) He defeated satan (see Heb. 2:14). 2). He took away satan's legal authority to rule over the human race. 3) He restored the blessings that satan had stolen from the human race. THE DIVINE EXCHANGE Jesus' followers can see how the Cross had become the intersection of Heaven and earth. The supernatural traffic between Heaven and earth could flow freely through this intersection, and every individual who assented to Jesus—not just the super-special priests and prophets—could experience supernatural life. It is available to us: 1) Exchanging Punishment for Peace - Isa. 53:5 2) Exchanging Sickness for Healing - Isa. 53:4-5 3) Exchanging Sin for Righteousness - Isa. 53:10, 2 Cor. 5:21 4) Exchanging Curse for Blessing - Deut. 28:15-68 for Deut. 28:1-14 5) Exchanging Poverty for Wealth - 2 Cor. 8:9 6) Exchanging Threefold Death for Threefold Life - Heb. 2:9 He tasted death in three successive phases: (1) He was cut off from union and fellowship with the Father; (2) He was cut off from physical life; and (3) He was banished from God's presence like a scapegoat, carrying sin away. He was crucified and buried; He descended into Hades and rose again so that our redemption could be complete. In exchange, the gift of life to every Believer is also a threefold one: (1) union and fellowship with God; (2) physical resurrection life in our mortal bodies; and (3) resurrection and eternal life in God's glorious presence. 7) Exchanging the Old Man for the New - Rom. 6:6; 8:10; Col. 2:11; Gal. 5:17-24 What an exchange! This is not just a dream of something in the future—it is a present tense reality! THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE -- OUR BIRTHRIGHT It is our honor to be ambassadors of Christ in the world. It is our joy to let His light shine through our lives. It is our privilege to manifest the signs of the Kingdom of God wherever we go. Jesus said, "These signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well" (Mark 16:17-18). Those signs are supernatural. They are part of your birthright. The supernatural God who never changes has restored them to you. Hold out your hands to receive all that He wants to give you as a born-again, Spirit-filled follower of Jesus Christ. Let's Enforce the Victory of Calvary! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  21. 1. What is the primary purpose for developing a righteousness consciousness? Answer: It is so that we will respond to life as much like Jesus as possible. We have been predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." - Romans 12:2 "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven." - Matthew 5:20 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 2. How is Jesus able to do only that which He saw the father do and say what He heard the father say? Answer: Because of His awareness of the presence of God within Him; Jesus walked in holiness; Jesus nurtured His holiness through continual fellowship with His Father. "After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone." - Matthew 14:23 "Truly, truly, I say to you, 'the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does, these things the son also does in like manner. For Just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes." - Matthew 5:19,21 "I and the Father are one." - John 10:30 3. What are some of the benefits of personal fellowship with God? Answer: Fellowship will cause us to know God and to think and respond the way He does. Fellowship purges us: causes holiness. "That they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me." -John 17:21 "For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust." - 2 Peter 1:4 "Since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh." - Hebrews 10:19,20 4. What is true holiness? Holiness is conduct that is in line with God's standards. "For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ." - Colossians 2:9,10 "For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren." -Romans 8:29 "Leaving your former way of life, you must lay aside that old human nature which, deluded by its lusts, is sinking towards death. You must be made new in mind and spirit, and put on the new nature of God's creating, which shows itself in the just and devout life called for by the truth." - Ephesians 4:22-24 5. List at least two benefits to having a righteousness consciousness? Answers: Will cause us to love others; Will cause us to refuse to participate in anything which serves Satan; Motivates our every action and thought to glorify God. "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him." - John 14:21 "...every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you." -John 15:2,3 INTO ACTION: Affirm and meditate on the indicated scriptures several times daily until the renewing of your mind is made real to your spirit. AFFIRMTIONS: I bring forth much fruit because I abide in Jesus. The fruit I bear is through Christ only. (John 15.5) I am holy since I am in Christ Jesus and Jesus is in God and God is holy.(Leviticus 20:7) I hold fast to the confession of my faith since God is faithful to perform His word. (Hebrews 10:23) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  22. Romans 6:11 - "Likewise recon ye yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord." Affirmation: I DEEM MYSELF TO BE DEAD TO SIN, ENERGIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT TO WALK IN THE RESURRECTION POWER OF JESUS CHRIST. Hosea 4:6 - "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." This infers that if God's people had knowledge of who they really are in Christ, of who God is, and of the rights and priveleges of their DOMINION -- they wouldn't be destroyed. Jesus walked in union with His Father. We too must do the same with Him. We only have true SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY to the degree that we are abiding in Him. The angels do not respect us and the demons do not obey us because of who we are, but because of who is in us. Affirmation: MY IGNORANCE OF THE WORD OF GOD IS THE ONLY EFFECTIVE WEAPON AN ENEMY CAN USE AGAINST ME. John 15:7 - "If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." Observation: ONCE THE WORD OF GOD BEGINS TO ABIDE IN ME AND IT BECOMES A RHEMA WORD (A WORD FROM GOD SPOKEN TO MY SPIRIT) THEN WHEN I TALK OR SPEAK IT, SITUATIONS WILL CHANGE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. "And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God." (Revelation 4:5) "The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord." (Isaiah 11:2) The Lord desires us to enter into a deeper level of pressing into Him, or what is called "pursuit after Him." It is a stirring of the Holy Spirit deep within that literally awakens your inner man, so that YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW there is something more that He wants to share with you. This is called HOLY HUNGER. ONLY COMMUNION CAN SATISFY Only communion with Him is going to satisfy the deep ache within. This wonderful hunger is stirred up by the Holy Spirit like as described in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know". As we begin to cry out from this deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirits, we experience the communion of the Holy Spirit, which is a place of deep to deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for you and reveals it to you. WE CALL OUT TO HIM "But God has revealed it to us by His Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God."(1 Corinthians 2:10) Deuteronomy 29:29declares that, "the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever!" As the Holy Spirit initiates this hunger, we begin to say "yes" to the Lord in agreement with the stirring of the Holy Spirit. We begin to call out to Him. As we begin to call to Him, He answers us by showing us great and mighty things that we did not know. The word "mighty" here in the Hebrews means inaccessible. He wants to release to us something that was once inaccessible to us that we did not know. He wants to reveal to us by the Revealer the deep counsel of God. It is a precious privilege to know the mysteries and the secrets of the kingdom. But when the Revealer reveals them to us, they are now for us and our children's children. A GREATER INVITATION FROM JESUS In Revelation 3:20 there is a greater invitation from the Lord to the church: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." In this verse, Jesus essentially says, "If you hear me knock and you open your heart (door) to me I will come and dine with you, or banquet with you." This refers to visitation or communion of a greater degree. As you say "yes" to the Lord, something wonderful and glorious takes place next. Just a few verses later in Revelation 4:1, we see now an invitation to go through the door that is opened by the Lord: "After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.'" He is the Door or Gate to "come up here" and meet with Him. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  24. How many times do we try to reach through to Him – we pray, we fast, we read His Word, we worship? The enemy tries to block you, but how easy it is to come into His presence when you declare He is Lord; because he must bow down. "For greater is He that is within you, than he that is in the world." What you need right now, whether it be your children, your spouse, your finances, your health, lift it up to Him right now, for He can make all things whole. Like the woman with the issue of blood, she pressed through, and He made her whole. The man who had the legion of demons – he was insane -- he cried out with what little bit he could and He made Him whole. The man who couldn't walk, even his parents were afraid. But He goes beyond circumstances and establishes wholeness, for He is the God of wholeness – the Alpha, the Omega. Allow Him to come in and take down any wall, any kind of hindrance, whether it be a large wall that you've been hitting your head against for years, or whether it be a teeny, tiny, picket fence – anything that would block His presence, from just devouring you, to where you could be swallowed up in the goodness of God. To where fear could not find a landing place, butfaith would be the landing place. Faith conquers all fear. Don't make Him small. Understand, the King of the universe came to serve, to set free, to save and to heal, and to bring the good news that the Kingdom of God is not only around you, but is within you. Let His Kingdom come forth. Continue to pray His Kingdom come. Continue to pray His will be done. For, yes, He brought His Kingdom to earth – for you are of another Kingdom, as well as you are of another Spirit. Let His Spirit lift you up, from glory to glory – then you can look down and come tounderstand who you were called to be. For He is looking for a hungry people, a trustworthy people, overseers in His Kingdom, overseers in His vineyard – whether they have pain or whether they have strength; whether they have fame, or whether they be hidden; it makes no difference. He looks at the hearts of His own. "That He would grant you grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man....that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:16,19 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  25. 1 Corinthians 4:20 - "For the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power." OBSERVATION: When the Lord calls me to do a task, I must resist looking to my resources for the ability to carry it out, but rather to God's resources. Ezekiel 22:30 - "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none." We are called to intercession because God does not do anything in the earth withou the cooperation of a man. He intends for us to work together with Him to accomplish His will. Proverbs 4:20-23 - "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Affirmations: I AM DILIGENT TO KEEP MEDITATING AND CONFESSING THE PROMISES IN THE WORD UNTIL THEY OVERTAKE MY LIFE. I KNOW THAT EVERYTHING THAT I RECEIVE FROM GOD STARTS WITH THE WORD IN MY HEART.
