The police will taze anyone - did you guys see the 71 y/o woman tazzed at a traffic stop - she was being a bit of a nuisance, but he didn't have to do that. What would they have done before tazors? Yikes.

Ummmm....the guy refused the lawful orders of police officers who had probable cause to search his vehicle. He locked himslef in his car for an hour yelling at police while a dog who is trained to sniff out drugs was alerted to his car. Once the police inform you that you are under arrest...you have lost the fight. If you persist in being defiant...they will come and get you. Don't be surprised if they come with tasers and guns, instead of flowers and chocolates.

These checkpoints are an important part of our security (we have too little at the border as it is) and the Supreme Court has validated their use...and they have also validated the search of a person's car without a warrant necessary if probable cause is present.

First there wasn't a 'random' set up, this particular stop is always there I have been through it myself a few times. The guy had been through this one himself several times and was just fed up with having to stop each and every time and something just made him not want to comply this time around. The agents went overboard really and it was all caught on tape and is under review, though I understand they did go back the book. I don't like it, I don't agree with what happened but for better or worse its the law of the land. If it was me getting stopped by the same agents at the same stop everytime I made the trip I might have had enough of it also and probably would have raised a stink but not sure I would have let them tased me and broke my car windows especially if I had nothing to hide. :laugh: Not too many illegals or drugs are caught in those kind of stops from what my husbands step father tells us and I think the money could be better spent.

I would have to say I have to agree with the Pastor. Our rights have long been trampled on. We need to bring God back to America. We need Him in our schools, jobs, political arena and most of all in our Hearts. It's going to get harder folks. This is a beginning. Soon it will be a crime if you are for Jesus. If so then call me a criminal because nothing is going to turn me from Christ. God has been with us since the beginning, He is with us now, and He will be with us in the end, unchanging and mighty in His Power. Wake up everyone the enemy is not near anymore because he is already here and spreading his lies and hate.

Ok "lawful orders" and checkpoints 50 - 100 miles from international borders for an important part of our security, yea, yea, yea . . .

Another link can't be posted because of the TOS but if you search for "Abusive Border Patrol Agents w/ Nun Chucks at NM Checkpoint" you will see the same man filming himself and the border guards at possibly the same checkpoint (I don't know) where he is stop for a half hour. He refuses to lower the window and answers only pertinent questions and refuses to comply to their demands to pull over and be searched because they are unlawful. The border guards at one point call him a terrorist, banish a nightstick in intimidation shows him the little card that explains the "law" that gives them authority to which he explains he is in compliance with the law and that they are taking it beyond its bonds.

Bottom line . . . they let him pass after a half hour. Government authority does not yield unless it has no choice . . . it is contrary to the nature of the beast.

I know, if we have nothing to hide than what's the big deal? Sounds reasonable, except it is an invasion of rights. Not constitutional rights, but constitutionally recognized God given rights.

The 10th commandment tells us that God requires us to respect each others personal property and with that is our privacy. People only have a right to know about me what I want and choose to disclose, unless I have already breached my good standing with God and man in a specific situation. Then only information pertinent to the incident can only then be public disclosed to those who "need to know."

People really do not understand how much their "rights" and freedom have been taken away. They no longer understand liberty. Now we have a government that is rapidly invading the private sector and usurping or rights to privacy and private property. Eminent domain was a seed of thorn and thistle planted in society to control and evade the masses under the guise of community good but has become the tool of lever of those wanton of power and driven by greed.

Sure the guy could have just complied . . . but was he really legally obligated to?

The more power you give to government, the more they want.

More power = more corruption, absolute power = absolute corruption.

We have just been sitting in this pot of hot water for so long that we don't realize just how hot the water really is.

Its not global warming, it government swarming.

Perhaps a review of Patrick Henry's speech might say things clearer . . . but below are some excerpts . . .

What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God!
I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!

Freedom . . . what a concept. Something so many are willing to throw away and take from others . . .

If you don't stand up for it, you don't deserve it.

If you give away part of it, expect it all to be demanded and lost.

Yea, yea, I know . . . "lawful orders" and checkpoints 50 - 100 miles from international borders for an important part of our security . . . got nothing to hide . . . .

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
