I would like to add that it would have been impossible because who would preform the sacrifice.

Could Eve sacrifice Adam for her sin? Could Adam commit suicide for her sin?

It is just to convoluted to have any opportunity of reality.

Hence my scenario that Adam fall at the feet of God, begging mercy for Eve out of his love for her, begging that he pay the price for her sin... God Himself being the high priest prosiding over the offering... Jesus does play this role too, of our high priest

Eve did not sin. Eve was not given the command from GOD. Had Adam not eaten of the fruit, sin would not have come into the world.

I cant agree with this.

Gen 3:2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "

She knew the command from God and disobyed it anyhow

Adam was the only one told by GOD not to eat of the fruit, Despite what she said to the serpent, there was no cammond from GOD for her not to eat of the fruit. Adam may have told her not to eat of the fruit, but the only person GOD ever told not to eat the fruit was Adam. Thus, until Adam ate of the fruit, sin had not come into the world.

In all of the references in scripture you will see that sin came into the world by the one man, Adam.

So, as I stated, if Adam had not eaten of the fruit, there would be no need for a sacrifice for what Eve did.

1 Timothy 2:14

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

^^^ and yet she was guilty of transgressing the law

The premise that he would need to sacrifice himself for Eve might not be a correct premise, in the first place.

Funny seems what Eve was told was a bit different than what God told Adam.

Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

And here is what Eve said

Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

When caught the blame game was played for probably the first time

Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

And the curses were pronounced I found this interesting.

Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

He listened to his wife...

True... it may not.

But wouldnt you agree that if Adam had truly acted in Agape... REAL perfect love of God... "For God SO LOVED the world" ...that he would have offered himself?

Adam had a choice and he made it.

He might have done it to stay with Eve.

He might have done it because he was fooled.

The Bible doesn't show he considered options.

Either way he took away all options but Jesus in one bite.

That is why the bible is so thick. It was hard work getting man back from the dead.

God would have forgiven both of them. The logic is,

(1) God loves Eve and doesn't want her to die or stay apart from Him. He had to send her out not because He wanted to, but because He had to.

(2) How has God forgiven us? Because a person (Christ) who has committed no sin has given up His life willingly as a sacrifice. Now both He and we are saved. Adam, technically was as pure as Christ before He ate the apple. So had He willingly given up His life,Eve too would have been forgiven.

Man was meant to live in the Garden forever, immortal.

I have to disagree with this. Man can never, nor was he designed to be, immortal. The word itself implies incapable of corruption. To have eternal life, yes, but not immortal.

Hypotheticly... WHAT would have happened had Adam not ate fo the tree, fell on his face before God pleading for Eve?

What would have happened?

God would not have become man.

And we would not be able to have the kind of relationship with the Lord that we can have now by being joined into His death and resurrection.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
