I do NOT want to start a boxing match here, and I know what Worthy has done, and is doing for me (and thank you Jesus that I found this place). And I attend church, and host a home group, but I am interested to know what other people feel. Please hear my heart on this, I don't really care one way or the other, I just know that it is good, it is well run and maintained and protected by boundaries that are entirely scriptural, and that I have learned a lot, especially about myself here.

Is Worthy a church?

Nope, not a church. And I've spent time praying for an answer to this question myself.

I think for many it is certainly a source for Scriptural information, prayer and fellowship. There are many here who are not able to go to a church building and I think they do consider the fellowship and love found here a type of congregation... I do enjoy my personal fellowship and worship at church, but I also understand how some Christians do not feel comfortable in a church. As long as we keep our eyes on Christ and focus on His Word - we are in worship... Blessings.

If you look at the definition, Worthy is pretty close to a cyber-church.

We don't meet in a building, but we do meet at a URL.... People come here to learn and make cyber friends. Most of us consider others as our brothers and sisters in Christ and I would imagine most of us consider ourselves members of Worthy.

Fellowship definately...... church..... almost.
