After the authorities checked on what she said, they found that none of the woman's husbands were actually dead. Obviously FOX is that stupid.

I wasn't speaking about the woman claiming to have killed her husband but the facts surrounding the videos, is there an ACORN office there, do those people work there, check on the kids doing the video, those kinds of things. I personally thought the woman was a flake and not only that she may really have been taken back about the whole business, she did seem nervous to me.

I meant to say her husbands were NOT actually dead. She claims she made it all up because she was knew something was off.

Or...she wanted to come across as being at their level....after all, she thought they were a pimp and prostitute.

Either way, Foxnews should have checked the facts before airing the story. Glen Beck has already lost 60% of his advertisers. I imagine he was hoping this ACORN story would help things.

The good news is that ACORN will no longer be given federal funds.

I am not aware that any sponsers have been pulled from Beck's show from what I understand are that the sponsers who were contacted to boycott Beck didn't show ads on his show to start with but do on other Fox shows and they are not pulling their ads from Fox at all. Do you have something that shows definitedly sponsers pulled ads from Becks show?

When I start calling people names like socialist, anti-semitic, fascist, the antichrist, etc, then you can rightfully accuse me of slander.

Nothing I have said has anything to do with money. The advertisers still are on Fox, just not during Beck's show. This ACORN business has put Beck's ratings through the roof.

Your opinion is that he is doing what he does because of conviction, my opinion is that he does what he does to advance his show. We both are equally entitled to those opinions.

I used to be in the TV business Kathy and I must agree with you that it's being done to advance his audience. That was my experience from years ago and I don't think anything in that business has changed other than about 5 people control most of the network news now.

I like Beck always have, one of the reasons he is so popular is no one out there is speaking what most Americans are thinking. I also believe he does things out of his conviction and love for this country yet I also think he is doing so out of ratings. His harping on all the media nonsense about him and Fox should stop, imo, and get back to facts of the matter. I believe those ads. supposedly boycotting Beck didn't advertise on his show anyhow but I tend not to watch commericals when they are on so I am going by what I have heard.

If the woman suspected something was up, why didn't she go to the police?

And why should Fox be responsible for investigating whether her murder claim was true or not before airing the tapes? Besides that was a side issue to what the were focusing on.

So why is Fox's reporting more offensive than the fact that this woman know how to skirt the law and didn't hesitate to offer advice and suggestions on it? That she showed no hesitancy in supporting the use of foreign minors for prostitution?

And if advancing one's show and seeking advertisers isn't about money - what is it about?
