Well, He did according to Gen 1:26 (NASB)--Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Jesus is a part of the "US" in the scripture above. The "US" is the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Why did God not create all people like Jesus?

[Revelation 5:1-5,vs.7-14]---And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. vs 2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? vs 3) And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. vs 4) And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

vs 5) And one of the elders, saith unto me, Weep not; behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof

vs 7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. vs 8) And when he had taken the book, the four beast and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having everyone of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. vs 9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by the blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people and nation; vs 10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. vs 11) And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousand; vs 12) Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, honour, and glory, and blessings. vs 13) And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessings, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever and ever. vs 14)And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son.......

For their in none worthy in heaven or in earth or under the earth those whom have died before and after Christ's life before Christ was born of the virgin Mary.

Jesus was the only spotless Lamb in whom was found no guile in his mouth. Jesus lived his life on earth without any sins of his own. Our Heavenly Father had only one Son the only begotten Son whom was to be slain so we could come into the family of God through that one spotless Lamb who was worthy to be slain.

There was only one Saviour and if we were created all like Jesus we still would need a Savior or I believe so but I am glad just the way I am and I know I could never live the life of Jesus if I was just like him I could never endure the sufferings of the cross. I am glad for the one that was sent down from heaven.

I hope you understand my response to this thread as my ponderings got kind of deep.

What would have been the point?

I don't understand the question? He created us in His image, but further than that He predestined and left us with free will, and I don't want to go down that road here

Rephrase: Why could he not make us all perfect? God is perfect and we were created in His image so why are we not perfect? He had/has the power to do this. Is this perhaps a question that cannot be answered until the end of life? I guess it kind of falls into the questions of why are we here in the first place.

Fall? Are you referring to Adam and Eve?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
