Need OT scripture saying that Jesus is God. Anyone?

Just a brief pointer Or'el....look for what it is in the OT that makes G-d G-d, and then see if Jesus also fits the bill....try looking at Isaiah chaps 40-50. Enjoy. Botz

I just wanted to add the OT scripture that goes along with this verse as the NT scripture are clear on this matter as it says, "before Abraham was born, I am. Jesus says, before Abraham was even born, I am"

Exodus 3:14--And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Isaiah 43:11,13--vs 11) "I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me their is no savior. vs 13) "Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of mine hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

John 17:5,24--vs 5) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which "I had with thee before the world was.

vs 24) Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me that where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me "before the foundation of the world."

Philippians 2:6--Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be "equal with God:"

Out of curiosity why do you want to know the OT scripture that says, Jesus is God as I think it would help me to see where you are coming from? thanks

Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. Jesus is part of the Godhead which the trinity is three persons in one Godhead. Jesus has always been part of the trinity all the way back before even the foundations of the earth before it was created.

The trinity consist of "God" the Father, "God" the Son and "God" the Holy Ghost three persons in one Godhead. The bible speaks about the Godhead in many places of (Colossians 2:9 & Roman 1:20) I would suggest that you get a concordance and look up your subject "Jesus is God"

You can see the Godhead in the book of...............

Genesis 1:26--And God said, Let "us" make man in "our" image, after "our" likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

I have a friend that is a Muslim that wants scripture from the old testament that Jesus is God. I told him I would look for this.
