Grace to you,

I saw this 74 Mustang II today. That was the very first car that I owned. My older brother gave it to me free and clear. I only needed to fix it up. The car I saw today was the same exact color. I drove that thing for a year and a half.

When I saw it I realized that nothing has changed. I'm still that lost 16 year old boy that I was that day. Sure, I had big plans. Don't we all?

God had other plans.

Did you know that Jacob really wanted to be a Hero but all that God ever really wanted was a friend?

How did I get here on this rabbit trail?:blink::th_praying:

Abraham accomplished nothing, in a worldly sense. He dwelt in tents and received a promise from heaven. There are no lasting testaments to his greatness. Like some failing pyramid in the shifting sand. His legacy was one of Faith and it lives on in the heart and mind of a 16 year old kid and his 1974 Mustang II.

Be blessed beloved, be determined to be blessed.

Peace,

Dave

Indeed nothing changed and I pray I walk with God as close as He allows me, its easy to get lost somewhere with our busy life in this world and to roam in our own thoughts and take our focus off Him ............................................will He call us our faithful friends in the end?

I don't understand what you mean Abraham had nothing? He was a wealthy man and he had meetings with kings. He is accredited as being the patriarch of three of the worlds largest religions - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. He had a son who was so obedient and trusting of his father that he would go to his death - a wife that stayed by his side through thick and thin, a second wife because the first wouldn't bear a son- what I think is amazing is I don't think any of this matters - only that he had a faith in God that was amazing.

Grace to you,

There's a fair haired boy playing kick ball in the back yard with my neighbors son. He's four years old and his hair tosses up and down as he runs. He reminds me of someone and he's my son. He looks alot like me. When I was young my hair was fair and it tossed up and down as I ran. :39:

God Loves you no less today than he did then.

Be unburdened today with the hopes of accomplishing something, anything that just might last, anything that you just might be able to point at.. God just wants you to Trust Him. Stop building your own Kingdom Jacob, stop wrestling in the watches of Night.

Peace,

Dave

Nothing? I don't quite understand what you mean?

Mat 1:1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Mat 1:2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,

Mat 1:3 and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram,

Mat 1:4 and Ram the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon,

Mat 1:5 and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse,

Mat 1:6 and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah,

Mat 1:7 and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asaph,

Mat 1:8 and Asaph the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah,

Mat 1:9 and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,

Mat 1:10 and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amos, and Amos the father of Josiah,

Mat 1:11 and Josiah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon.

Mat 1:12 And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,

Mat 1:13 and Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, and Abiud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor,

Mat 1:14 and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud,

Mat 1:15 and Eliud the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob,

Mat 1:16 and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.

Mat 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.

Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

Would you not say that was something? Or am I (most probably :39: ), missing the point?

"We have come to the Mountain of the Living God, Take a good look around us what we see is what we've got. There's no better day a coming, there's no brighter morning sun. We have come to the Mountain of the Living God." Oh Oh O woe Oh Oh O............................ :39:

Sorry for being so cryptic, it's in my newborn Blood.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
