Loved ones Help!

I do not know what to do about all that is occurring here! I am being toyed with: last night I received text message from April saying her cousin stole Her phone and has restraining order against her for that reason... I am uncertain what I am up against here but am still numb from my journey of grief and relief... I saw where Candice saw her sight had a visit by her password the 13th, I thought it could have been the cousin on her laptop... I could have verified the death! I'll look for Seattle's obits/6th to 12th for 18year old female April... If any other news I will post -I am so ashamed of posting all this now... I did not think it would be something somebody would do but sin never contains a rational... if this is a lie how do I remove all the damage it has done here? It is a cruelty I was unprepared for... each on of you who opened your hearts to God in this I apologize to you because I do not know what is the truth of all this... Your brother in Christ Steven

I searched the Seattle's obits and there is no record of April's death I am sorry for my stupidity and simpleness and all harm that I have caused by it... I am ashamed of myself! I have asked that the posting be removed. for those who posted on her site perhaps they will remove there. Steven

Steven...don't blame yourself. If this is all a lie the perpetrator needs psychiatric help. You were simply being you, a caring, compassionate Christian. I doubt if any of us would question such a thing as a death. We need to pity whoever did this and pray for their salvation....because they are truly evil. Btw, a restraining order is NEVER issued against someone who stole property; that's an absolute crock.

Steven, pray that the Lord will reveal the truth in the matter. He will. People would be amazed at the times the moderators pray for that concerning events and members on this board, and in His time it is revealed.

People are not always who they say they are, or have done the things they say they have, nor have the problems they pretend to have, nor even the life they claim to have. But one thing is certain, the ones living a life of deception need our prayers. They have liistened to the lies of the enemy and believed them.

You reacted with compassion Steven. There is no shame in that. I hope your heart is guarded through this and that you are restored to His joy very soon.

This is not the first time someone has done a silly and sick thing like this and I doubt it will be the last unfortunatly . Some people have a psycotic need for attention ( a bit like mauchausen (sp?) ) PLEASE dont let this experience stop you from reaching out to another person who may be in a REAL situation and crying out for your compassion :emot-hug::emot-hug::emot-hug::emot-hug::emot-hug:

The best advice I've heard this year, LPT. I totally agree, it's a thousand times better to err on the good side of man. I pray that neither Steven, or any of us here, let something like this stand in the way of reaching out to those who are hurting.

I didn't post when you wrote your first thread - because, it just did not feel right. I saw a story unfold that was tragic and had all the makings of a 'movie of the week'. I was concerned for you.... but I didn't want to say anything. There are those who are so hurt and sick that they desperately need attention and drama to feed their need for attention. Please pray for this girl (or whoever it is) and ask that God open her heart and convict her of being honest... You have a kind and loving heart - please do not allow yourself to become cynical over this .... just always ask God to guide you and give you the words to say and then commit all to Him. Enoob you have done absolutely nothing to reproach yourself with! On the contrary you have a caring and compassionate heart. I am only sorry you have been treated like this but as others have said it happens all the time. There was a case on another forum I visit (a Parkinson's support group) where someone claimed to not only have Parkinson's but also cancer and a host of other problems. Everyone believed her and tried to support her and the deception only came to light when she claimed to be in hospital for a life threatening op and someone rang and found she wasn't there at all, she was at home and in good health!

Praying for you and thanking God for your compassion and witness.

adding my support and prayers and echoing what others have said here your heart of compassion is right and needs to continue *hugs. sure there will be times when we are made fools of, laughed at, or lied to but so was our Lord and He will work this for His glory brother. praying that the Lord will establish His peace in this matter regardless of whether they lied to you or not. adding my prayers for her prayers and salvation as well. there have been times both here and in "real" life that this has happened to me as well but as others said there have also been many times when the Lord has used His compassion in me to draw others to Him for salvation or comfort and encouragement.

      You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
