This is rather controversial for most of what I know from this subject does not come mostly from scripture, but from other written sources and life experience in knowing people who are involved and myself being associated with demonic forces in my younger days.. So you can take it for what it's worth to you and it won't hurt my feelings at all.

First of all there is a difference in Demons and fallen angels. Angels can take whatever form they seem to need to while in our fourth dimension. The Bible tells us that they are among us and as posted here we should treat strangers with respect for we do not know if they might actually be angels. Some angels in the old testament were more spiritual beings or light beings as some would day and others as those who went to Sodom to check out the evil there. Both good and bad are alive and well on planet earth today.

Demons on the other hand are, as I have been told both in ancient writings and by more than one of them personally, the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim (pre flood cross between fallen angels and the daughters of Adam) who were killed in the flood. They are outcast beings who should have never been formed and there is nowhere for them to go until judgment day unless someone is prodded by the Holy Spirit to sent them into the abyss (bottomless pit) which not even Jesus himself did when he was here in the flesh. They roam the earth seeking a body to inhabit for they lost theirs in the flood.

You can (in the name of Jesus) remove them from someone, but they will seek out something or someone else to indwell when they can.

Like I said, that's quite controversial, and many people would disagree.

Interesting thought. I've always believed that demons are all fallen angels, but I don't know. They could be disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. I Have dealt with many demonic things in my life, and have personally seen some. I have noticed when many manifest in someone they take on attributes like a serpent.

I know that they are all directed by the hand of Satan, and we have victory over them through the blood of Jesus.

When the flood came and destroyed everything the 'part' of the nephilim that couldn't or didn't die was the 'angelic' part which leads to the disembodied spirit or demon. There does seem to be different kinds of angels which Otherone speaks of in his posts, the host of heaven for example may be seen as different than the ones who come to man to speak to men or to do Gods bidding here on earth. The fallen angels are in chains, God certainly could have killed them all off along with the demon spirits but chose not to for reasons we do not understand some even say they cannot be killed off readily I'm not sure about that though. Its more than possible for those demonic spirits to be possessing and directing the leaders of this world right now and doing so by the leading of the adversary.

Be careful about getting too caught up with "angels".

Remember Todd Bentley and Emma?

I was under the spiritual authority of someone who taught some radical things about angels - angelic enjoining (what became corrupted as demonic possession) being one of them. Whether or not she was on the right track I don't know, but the application sure got risque.

But the Bible does not give us an Angelogy 101 course. I am sure what it reveals is only a glimmer.

What we do know is that angels appeared as humans (i.e. to Lot and the women at the tomb) and as very unhuman (Ezekiel's vision and John's vision).

We are given the names and specific roles of only two angels (Michael and Gabriel).

We are told that angels are sent to us as messengers, that they engage in warfare, that they worship, and that they do at times protect us (a verse in Ps. 91).

I do not discount experience and the Lord revealing things about angels to us. Just be careful, for there is a lot of deception and it is easy to misplace focus.

My daughter had an experience with two angels, I believe.

She was walking in the middle of the night on the highway (after a party she went to) and a transport truck stopped up ahead of her. Two men got out and grabbed her has she was going past. We would have never seen her again, of that I am sure. But out of no where a car came, two men got out of it, grabbed my daughter from the two truckers and put her in thier car.

They asked her if she believed in God and told her that she was lucky he sent them in time to save her. They drove her home, and preached at her a little and were never seen again.

Now maybe these weren't angels, but maybe they were.

In my 63 years, I've heard many many stories of this nature, and I agree that most likely they are angels.... I wish I could prove it some way.

I agree Neb in that the Bible just gives us a small glimpse of angels. I could also warn people that if they really care to get involved in the angelic realm and do not know there Bible inside out, they can very easily be mislead into thinking the bad guys good and the good guys bad.

Also the only angels that were locked up were the ones that messed with Adams daughters, and there are many many more that follow Satan that are not locked away. If the verse that says that Satan took a third of the stars with him when he's swept out of heaven is really speaking of dark side angels, then there will be millions of them.

We'll see as it all comes together at the end.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
