Well, until he mentions Jesus being his Lord, I don't have any reason to believe anything has changed.

Well he has said that Jesus is not the only way for salvation, so at the very least he's not very informed.

I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. Look at his actions. Being the first president in decades to not attend the presidential prayer meeting, not having his hand on the bible while being sworn in (if what I read about that is true), not wanting the nativitty scene displayed at the white house during Christmas, and his latest, saying that our country's motto is e pluribus unum instead of In God We Trust, as it is. There is alot that is wrong with this man. I am ashamed to call him my president. He is now clearly trying to use the Christian vote for his own personal game. Does he honestly think Christians have no memory ? Or worse, are stupid ?

The only time I pray for this anti-christ of a man is when it's asking God to not allow him a second term.

This is not what the Lord would have us do....refusing to pray for someone is not helpful either to them or to us. Obama is not the anti-christ or an anti-christ. He does, however, need our prayers as any other person does who is weak in their faith. And, yes, he did have his hand on the Bible when he was sworn in. Watch the video of the ceremony. Which one of us is so holy that we can determine that another is unworthy of our prayers? I would venture none of us.

Leave it to you to be the voice of reason and spoil all the fun! :foot-stomp:

Well, I'm sorry I had to go all reasonable on y'all.....but we can still make fun of the President's ears if you want......:D

YAY!!!!

Obama's ears are so big, he heard the sun rising this morning.

Why is Obama talking about his supposed Christian faith? There's an election starting later this year and American's have a very short term memory and he knows this.

Maybe he truly is trying to become stronger in faith.....that very thing happened to me and to many others reading this. I don't doubt the political slant though; they all do that one.

(I don't feel bad making jokes about this; the President makes jokes about his ears himself.)

True. I remember back during the Clinton years when Bill would leave his Church carrying a HUGE Bible so that even the press waaaay in the back could see it!

Just out of curiosity, did you vote for him ? I am not trying to be funny here, I am truly curious.

First of all, I never said he was "the" anti-christ. Our own Savior Himself said, "He who is not with me is against me." The president sounds pretty anti-christ to me. ;) And I refuse to capatalize the word president when placed before his name because the man himself does not even respect the duties of the oval office. He is after one goal only : his own agenda. ;)

Regarding the use of the bible, I stated that I was not sure. But you know what ? We are both correct on that account :

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article5567187.ece

John Roberts, the Chief Justice charged who helped bungle the oath on Tuesday, was summoned to the White House and, in front of a small pool of reporters, Mr Obama carefully and accurately repeated the 35-word oath prescribed by Article 2 of the Constitution.

The problem was, no-one thought to bring a Bible and Mr Obama decided to go ahead without one.

Legally, that was fine

No, I voted for Sarah Palin.

You're free to do as you please but I suggest actually reading up on facts instead of following the lead of others.

You mean McCain/Palin right ? And I do not follow the lead of others, but uhm, thanks for the comment.

And what I was trying to say by my posts was that there were 2 ceremonies. Can't spell it any clearer than that. Right out the starting gate.......

I'll not look up the scripture this time but it is easily googled with "prayer+leaders+Bible," and it is a command to pray for our leaders, no matter who is seated there for God's purpose. When I pray for him it is for God's influence on his task as he leads this nation into it's declining position in the world.

I have always found it critical to know your enemy and being a War Veteran with three tours in Vietnam I watch people so closely that they make me see the Shrink at the VA for Hyper-tension. I have studied Islam and the influence it's founder and leader, Muhammad, has had on this religion. This man was the General and he was not educated enough to record his own thoughts, in the 7th Century, but was a marauding murderer and thief. Others recorded his sayings and his thoughts for him and the most striking and telling, to the Christian, is that any lie that does good to the cause of Islam is not a sin.

With this in mind, he was raised a Muslim (it's recorded and witnessed in Indonesia) and has removed the observance of the US National Day of Prayer and is found to have attended, with his shoes off, important custom, ad bowed to Mecca! As harsh as it may sound the truth is that to further lower the US on the playing field, He has seated a non-American Muslim that is a liar!

As a religion hating Christian, I have a numer of good, God inspired reasons to pray for this man that is so busy working his way into Hell.

A very dangerous and evil man for sure. It is imperative to both pray this heathen out of office and vote this heathen out of office. Even if he does come to Christ, which I seriously doubt, the damage he has done in his first term is quite extensive. The worst being, in my opinion, is showing the entire world, that America is capable of having a Muslim as a president, and not caring. Soooooooo sad. He's layed his eggs here, so even if he leaves now, they will hatch later. (sorry that's the best analogy I could come up with at the moment, long night ) Even if he does come to Christ, he still must suffer the consequences of his actions and not be allowed to serve a second term. If he is voted a second term, I pray that God does not remove His hand of protection from us any further and listens to the prayers of it's remaining Christian citizens.

No, I don't. I voted for Palin and McCain was the bad aftertaste. Obama was sworn in using Abraham Lincoln's Bible. It's a matter of public record. You didn't address the fact that the 'no Bible' claim was clearly false.

I've read every bit of that before (except the egg laying analogy; that's priceless!) but again I urge you to think for yourself and to not believe anything you read on the blogs before checking it out. Obama isn't a muslim. He's closer to being an agnostic. But he does need our prayers. You can despise him all you want but the Lord wants you to pray for his salvation as you know.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
