I'm doing fine How've you been!? I just heard on a Perry stone video about the Cherokee have a Hebrew connection and the proof was:

1.The Cherokee's feasts are similar to the Jews' feasts.

2.At least some of the Cherokee's religious customs are similar to the Jews.

3.Possibly the Cherokee's faith is similar to the Christians.

and other possible proof.

I haven't watch the video in so long I can't remember everything about the video.

I might watch the video tonight or tomorrow and tell y'all about the video.

The conclusive test against this fantasy are the numerous DNA tests that have effectively terminated all speculations! Unlike the DNA tests on Jews in Africa,India and China that have proved certain people groups there are definately Semitic.

I thought that to be "jewish" was a religion, not ethnic. Since there are so many different ethnic groups that claim they are jewish, and lots of people over the years have converted to judaisim, and, seeing as adultry made one of the top ten sin lists, how is it possable to tell if someone is "jewish" simply by blood test?

Even way back in Exodus it speaks of the "mixed multitude" that left Egypt along with the Israelits. And God said if any would sojourn with the Israelits, they could and would be bound to the same laws and such.

Many even changed there name and identaties during the crusades. Some even converted to christianity (although that too was probably to escape persecution.)

And forget the old addage well you can just tell be looking at them. My husband is a jewish believer and whenever we are out among friends and different people we meet, they think I look "jewish" although my ancestory is of Irish/Cherokee, and I am also sandy headed.

Being a "gentile" doesnt mean you are of a different race or ethnic background. The "gentiles" were and still are (according to the jewish people) heathen, pagans.

Thats why it is stated in the scriptures that you who were once a heathen, seperated from God and His promises, have now been brought nigh to God thru Yeshua and are now a part of the commonwealth of Israel.

We are niether jew or greek(gentile) but are now one people in Yeshua. So, its not really important about "blood lines" as much as it is about being covered with Yeshuas blood.

I think the purpose of the DNA results gives a very good indication if a group of people originally came from a certain area...in this case the Middle-East. Whether they believe as Jews is another matter but it was proven that their apparent ancestry was more likely to have been made up by the bothers Grimm.

There is a Semetic race of people who are the physical seed of Abraham. Even though many have intermingled and assimilated, those who have remained somewhat pure would show a common genetic makeup.

I'm not sure how "pure" one's DNA has to be, but this DNA testing is going to show who Ephraim really is before long also...

Please don't confuse the issue by spiritualizing the genetic race known as hebrews or the common modern name, jews.

This race of people have a religion which allows other races to assimilate into them but that is another thread..
