Anyone who does not worship Jesus Christ, does not worship the God of the Bible. That goes for EVERYONE, Jew and Gentile.

Wrong again. Jesus comes from the God of the Bible, is part of the God of the Bible.. Jews worship God, the same God we worship. God simply does not see or accept their worship because it is not brought before Him through Christ. But so nice to see your bias showing, once again. . .

ANYONE who denies Christ is lost.

Beware another Gospel.

Beware of heaping condemnation where none is warranted.:thumbsup: No one is preaching another Gospel. No one said a non believing Jew is Saved. :thumbsup: What they said is that the God of the Jews, the God of the Bible, is the same God that we worship.:thumbsup:

Ro 9:15

For he says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Ro 9:16

So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

God means to be merciful to the Jew, and not for their sake, or even ours, but because He wills it.:wub:

No one claimed otherwise sister.:thumbsup: What we said is that we worship the same God that the Jews do.:wub:

They are blinded to Him;

Ro 11:7

What then? Israel has not obtained that which it seeks for; but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded

Ro 11:8

(According as it is written, God has given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Ro 11:9

And David says, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompense unto them:

Ro 11:10

Let their eyes be darkened that they may not see, and bow down their back always.

Ro 11:11

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.

They are blinded, to this day, so that the same God, the God of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ, could be merciful to us. Therefore, be careful. Lest you boast aginst Him.:taped:

You are to provoke the Jew to jealousy not hammer him over the head with your salvation.:o

Lest God not be so merciful to you.:thumbsup:

Ro 11:18

Boast not against the branches. But if you boast, you bear not the root, but the root you.

The Root, the God of Israel, bears you sister. Therefore, you ought to seek mercy for this He desireth and not your religion or your sacrifice.

Fearful warning;

Ro 11:19

You will say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

Ro 11:20

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Be not arrogant, but fear:

Ro 11:21

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also not spare you.

It really doesn't matter what you believe, it matters what He wills.

So behold;

Ro 11:22

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness: otherwise you also shall be cut off.

Ro 11:23

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

God desires to be Merciful to Israel but you desire Judgment. tsk, tsk.:blink:

Nebula I don't know?

Blessed is the name of the Lord? Does this mean Lord Jesus the Christ of Holy Scripture? If so than Judaism and Christianity both believe that Jesus is God and that would be a good thing.

I think it is incendiary to say they worship a different God. But we know that the God of Holy Scripture is the Trinity, so I am very very confused if you pray to a God that is not the Trinity who or what are you praying too?

As a Christian I must honor our historical gift and heritage from the Jews, who gave us Jesus the Christ who many Jews DO believe in as God. But in honoring the Jews of today we should never deny Christ, I feel that I am denying Christ by saying that any prayer to God that does not recognize Christ as God is legitimate; because it is not legiitmate and is as false as any God that does not recognize Jesus; it is to a false conception of who God is.

Well, I hope you are able one day to discern to whom their prayer goes towards.

I don't worship the same God the Jews do. My God includes the Father the son and the Holy Ghost. Theirs does not.

Is He the God of Israel?:noidea:

I ask that because I am entering a Kingdom and that Kingdom has a King and He is the God of Israel and He has gone to the Father to prepare a place for me and for the first Christian "Abraham," as well.:wub:

Paul explained to Agrippa that he held the same Hope as the forefathers did;

Ac 26:6

And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers::thumbsup:

The Blessed Hope of Israel is Jesus Christ.:emot-handshake: They just do not stand in Faith. This does not make Him a separate God.

Neb, they don't understand it, but they are actually praying to Jesus himself when he was in the form of God. John tells us he was in the form of God but did not consider it something to be grasped to be equal with the Father (which he was) and set that aside and became flesh..

I would agree with Kathy though, they must accept Jesus for who he is in the flesh to achieve salvation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
