I think we were successful for 200+ years because we had a pivot of Christians large enough to spiritually sustain this country. Once that pivot was lost our country was breached on 9/11/01, indicating that we are no longer being sustained by the benevolence of God. Not enough Christians to support this country now.

I also think that this country was set up on principals of establishment that were Biblical in nature.

The best book I have found that relates to the this topic is "The 5000 Year Leap" by W. Cleon Skousen. We are a republic with the people as a whole being the leaders sending representives to DC. We are to be choosing people who are a repersentation of the group (states/districts) they serve. But we have gotten into the habit of electing the flashiest or the best orator. We need to have term limits on Congress as they are becoming an unchecked dictorship in their own right.

Technically you're right,, except we have elected people who have promiced to give us things instead of doing what's best for the country and We the People, we are now stuck with people in office that want to stay in office so they do what the madority want to get relected..... so functionally we have turned ourselves into a democracy and that's why we're in the shape we're in now.

fortunately we actually could turn it all around in one election in 2012, if and only if we can find people to run for office that will do what's best for We the People instead of welfare people and corporations.

Jay, I have a very personal moment to moment relationship with "The Lord" I don't have to keep my eyes on the Lord, for he's involved in my every thought.

As for my post, I'm not aware of any rules I've broken and several of the mods would enlighten me if I have. As for the proof you seak, it comes from 64 years of experience in dealing with life among the general public and voting over and over and over and over. If you really don't see what I'm saying, I would suggest you become a member of Glenn Beck's new internet network, and you will find what you need. And the good thing about Glennn is that he documents his research so you can go check it out for yourself. It would be kind of hard for me to put 50 years of life's experiences and dozens of books for you to read, so you can either take my word for it, or you always have the right to disagree...... and either way will not bother me.

You are right that we need God to destroy sin from us or Jesus to rule the world as a dictator/King but even though every human is sinful, we should work a creating a system that condemns sin.

The way that can happen is by creating a huge middle class, giving the states/provinces power to hold the government accountable. Giving the cities, municipalities, communties power to hold the states/provinces accountable.

Right now the maga corporations and the federal reserve (which is private) rules America and the politicians are just agents of the new world order that they (bankers/corporations) are trying to create.

I know the one world government will be created very soon and ALL OF YOU CHRISTIANS WILL BE PUT TO THE TEST. The real ones will be tortured and killed for their faith and the rest will follow the antichrist. The vast majority of christians will abandon Christ.

I'm Canadian and I know the birth of the Americian republic was completely Christian, in the sense that at first corporations weren't considered a person, you had laws that didn't let corporations exists for more then 10 years and corporations were only able to be created and exist more then 10 years if it was voted on and decided that it serves the public interest. Then the after the next 10 years they voted again.

The government owned the banks at first and a private federal reserve was not aloud to be created because the private reserve will take over your government and rule as a dictator.

America was once a very Godly nation but the same thing has happened to America as it has happened to Israel. The Bankers that rule the world are actually British and the federal reserve(which is private) is owned by people that serve British interests over Americian. It was created by Rothchilds. Right now the Major corporations of America have jioned the club pushing for the same agenda. They have all the money they need, they are pushing for power, their goal is to destroy the middle class, so they wont be held accountable by the people. To have a government that fears the people you need a middle class.

Want to learn more? google it, youtube it. I can send you documentaries by people with PHD's in economics, politics, historians, they all say the same thing. You wont learn this in school because your school in government regulated.

As I said in another thread, no form of government will work as long as they have the one common denominator to all of them. Humans, we tend to mess up everything we touch! The only system that will work is when the Lord returns and brings us under his perfect rule!

I do hope people realize that we are suppose to be a Republic, but runs like a Democracy. They are suppose to represent those who elected them, but when it comes to passing bills, the majority rules ... as in the election process.

The US is a Republic dispite the attempts to convince people we are a Democracy. I believe in a fallen world the best form of government is a Republic, but in a perfect world Monarcy. Democracy always self distruct.
